We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Kangaroo Island as a family! We absolutely loved Seal Bay and were amazed at how many seals there were and how close we could be near them. We were impressed with the Admiral’s Arch and the view of seals enjoying their natural habitat. Our guide Pete was fantastic - cheerful, helpful and very informative.

We are so lucky to have the booking for this tour, we had a wonderful day trip at Kangaroo island, especially with Kylie, the professional tour guide. She arranged the best route for the group, provided water/juice, beef salad and carrot cake. Thing perfect, highly recommend.

can not say enough about this Tour! you will get your money's worth and then some! Pete was a wealth of knowledge and information. we saw all promises with extras! saw kangaroo, koalas, fur seals, sea lions, lizards and even termite mounds. Time alloted was just right! Lunch, water, fruit juice, cake were also good. Got back to the port just in time too. Same Tour on our ship was four times the price. Thank you for the BEST Day of our 5 week vacation! It is a lot of drive time, which I knew and expected. Thank you Pete- and his trainee was also great!

Absolutely recommended. And we specifically enjoyed our guide, Pete, who explained us a lot of interesting things about nature, plants, geological information and the history of the island. I wish everyone to have Pete as guide because he really made our day! But, of course, the nature and beautiful places covered by this tour are worth it!

This was a great trip and I am so grateful that you ran it even though I was the only guest !! I could not have done this four myself and I had a really lovely day with Pete. On my own I would not have had a whiting burger at Vivonne Bay either … I thoroughly recommend that and also they make a fabulous dirty chai :D :D

My husband and I booked two tours with Kangaroo Island Trails in March: the Half Day Tasting Tour and the Scenic, Nature & Wildlife Tour. This company was recommended by friends in Adelaide and the tours were one of the highlights of our visit to Australia. Our satisfaction was in no small part due to the excellent tour guide Pete we had for both tours. He was superb! Friendly right from the start and so knowledgeable about the sites and offerings of Kangaroo Island. We also really liked the concept of small group tours. In fact, for the Tasting Tour there were only 3 guests: ourselves and one other lady. Probably not so good for your business, but for us it was a very personal tour and we had alot of attention from Pete. He seemed to be 'Australia personified'. On the tasting tour we really enjoyed the large lavender scones at the Lavender Farm on Emu Bay. And then the paddles of KI ciders (at the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery), gin (at KI Spirits) and wine (at the Bay of Shoals winery). The next morning we were ready for the full day tour of the island. A special opportunity to see the sea lions at Seal Bay followed by lunch at the General Store in Vivonne Bay: fresh grilled whiting on a toasted Turkish bun. Delicious, and as good as at any restaurant in a city. We then travelled over to Flinders Chase National Park area and thoroughly enjoyed a walk around the Remarkable Rocks. Amazing geological formation. We will definitely recommend Kangaroo Island Trails to friends who are considering visiting Australia. It was well worth travelling so far from Canada.

The day was much better than expected, we were a small group of only 6 and our guide Frank made the day very enjoyable with excellent commentary on the local wildlife and we were able to spend as much time as we wanted at each site, would highly recommend this group tour

We had a fabulous full day tour of KI our driver and tour guide Pete was very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly -we both learnt so much about the islands flora and fauna. Besides being taken to the islands historical spots and national parks, we also stopped along the islands roadways to view native wildlife such as koalas, goanna, eagles. Lots of photos were taken! We highly recommend Kangaroo Island Trails and our tour guide / driver Pete.

We did a private wildlife tour. Nikki was our guide and she is so incredibly knowledgeable of the flora and fauna, being a naturalist who grew up on Kangaroo Island. She knew all the back roads and got us to so many different out of the way places tour buses couldn't go. We saw so much different wildlife in such a short period, and avoided most of the crowds. She tailored our tour to exactly what we wanted and gave us a fantastic lunch on the beach. Thank you so much Nikki.

Really remarkable and memorable experience on Kangaroo Island. We enjoyed every minute of our journey around the unique island. We were fortunate to have the most incredible guide, Nikki Redman, who knew every piece of the land and the history that surrounded it. We were grateful to have her experience and dedication along the way. Plus, her photography is on another level - don't forget to ask her about that too! Couldn't recommend this experience enough, well worth it! Don't hesitate, and book it!

This tour seemed expensive when I booked but it was totally worth the money, especially if you don't have your own transport. A very full day of sightseeing and wildlife spotting which gives you an appreciation of Kangaroo Island's scenery and some of its iconic species e.g. sea lions, fur seals, echidnas. Unfortunately we didn't see any of the eponymous kangaroos, but I had seen them myself the day before. Driver Pete was friendly, engaging and knowledgable about the island's ecology and animals (I am an ecologist and learned some new stuff), though he didn't know some of the heathland plants, so it might be a good idea to have a plant book in the bus for those who are interested in the botanicals. The whiting burger for lunch at Vivonne Bay store was delicious. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience, going around the Island. Seen many wildlife including kangaroos, Wallabies, koalas, seals, pelicans! Went to Flinders Chase and there was remarkable rocks and admirals arch for great pictures! 100% recommend

We were extremely fortunate to be recommended to try to book Nikki Redman as our guide for our almost 9 hour long wildlife and scenic tour. Nikki is a delightful Lady, is passionate about her subject and is a human encyclopedia covering all aspects of animals, plants, trees and the history of Kangeroo Island.
