We were lucky enough to have Dave recommended to us as a tour guide by the local tourist information centre. They said if we wanted to know anything about the area, Dave was our man! The were absolutely on the money. We had a group of five and wanted to head out into the Flinders Ranges for a couple of days. Dave organised everything, drove us out and was the tour guide encyclopaedia. we learnt so much about the history and local area and Dave also suggested places to eat and drink wine at for the Clare Valley wine festival. Very easy going, great conversations and it felt more like Dave was part of our group. If you are doing anything in the Clare Valley, Dave at Clare Valley Tours absolutely has to be your first stop. Best tour guide ever.

We had a wonderful day with Dave. He was so knowledgeable with the history of the area and had a wonderful relationship with proprietors on the way. Lunch was magnificent. A particular highlight was our trip to the crypt at Sevenhill.

Grape express fantastic. Had a great time with a girlfriend hopping on and off the grape express with Tom as our driver for the day. Was always on time and gave excellent advice and banter across the day. Will certainly do again.

We were a group of 4 who used the Grape Express Tour Bus for our day of wine tasting in Clare and surrounding areas. Our driver John, was great. Punctual, patient and had both knowledge of the area nd a good sense of humour. Highly recommended.

We laughed all day. So much banter, lunch incredible at Paulette's 3 plates to share, eg house made thick sour day bread with wattle seed butter and crisp saltbush. All plates exquisite. Dave's knowledge of Clare amazing. Worth every cent.

The Clare Valley... what's not to love! Especially in the company of my two beautiful daughters who've shouted me on a mother/daughter holiday. We've had such a fun vinitourism and foodie experience with Mr Willson (aka Dave) of Clare Valley Tours - A great tour made all the more fun with Dave's tales and preparedness to show the best of Clare with spontaneous tour changes dependant upon our interests in the local area. Fantastic! The wines exceptional and the food out of this world but to pull all of this together takes a great person with a great report with local businesses. We were very well treated and some!

We booked a Clare uncorked tour for 4 friends to explore the Clare Valley and its wineries. Dave Wilson was our driver and he was a brilliant host. We covered some of the valley's history and sites. We visited some excellent wineries, and treated to nice tastings and hospitality. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch with a generous amount of food. Overall a great way to spend a day exploring clare and wineries, we all had a great time and a lot of laughs with Mr Wilson.

We had an excellent tour, as the only two people on the tour Dave tailored it to suit us. We saw a lot of the Clare Valley and its beautiful scenery and towns as well as getting a good background of the local history. Dave is very knowledgeable and a great salesperson for this region. Our winery stops gave us a good appreciation of local wines and lunch at Paulett was delicious. Dave also provided recommendations for other activities in the area. We had a great day out and it was the perfect way to spend a wet, windy and cold day. Thanks Dave.

If you're looking for someone who lives and breathes the Clare Valley Region don't go any further than Me Willson! Dave is extremely passionate about Clare and it's surrounds and knows a hell of a lot about the history of the region as well. Much more than you're average wine tour as well. Dave has excellent relationships with all the cellar doors and you will be given VIP service when in his company. You will also find yourself laughing a great deal throughout the day which illustrates how comfortable Dave's company is. Dave's tours are fully hosted and all inclusive so don't be fooled by someone else offering you a slightly lesser price and then adding on extras such as lunch and tasting fees. This tour has it all - Great wineries, some lesser known which is so great to taste something different. Delicious food - included in the price, and an event in itself Off the beaten track driving, taking you to some great sights, and also providing a history of the region Welcoming cellar doors who clearly have a great relationship with Dave So many laughs! The charm and friendliness of our tour guide Dave Mr Wilson) had this tour - it was a five star experience for all involved.
