      A Perfect Day
Our Canal Cruise was amazing, from having our names ticked off to saying goodbye at the end. Our Captain was incredible, friendly, witty, cheerful, knowledgeable, and had the best personality. It was wonderful to see someone who really enjoyed their job. He was very personable. His offsider was also first rate. She took time to talk to and interact with the passengers. She was an absolute delight. They make a great team, and great ambassadors for the company. On top of all that, it was blue sky and sunshine. All in all, it was a perfect day. Thank you.

      Hens Weekend Boat Cruise
Can't recommend enough! Everything was so seamless from booking to getting on the boat. The boat staff were so friendly and accommodating, asked us what kind of drinks we liked so that they could ensure there was enough for the duration of the 2 hours. We had the best time and would love to do it again.

Nice way to spend the afternoon
We opted for the lunch and cruise combo. Usually the lunch, at The Dock, is after the cruise but minimum number for a 1 pm was not met, so we ate before which worked out just fine. Then took the 2:30 cruise. Only 17 other pax on board. We had a delightful crew of skipper Kellan and first mate Rain. The commentary had the right amount of humour, information and silence too. The hour goes by quickly. The combo is very well worth it. Though a very limited selection, it’s at least 30% savings off the food. I highly recommend the combo deal.

      Canal Cruise plus Lunch
We purchased the 1 hour canal cruise plus lunch as a gift for my granddaughter and partner, who were visiting from Sydney. The sights and commentary on the history of the area was fascinating, as was seeing how the other half live and play. There were magnificent mansions on the canals with huge cruise boats moored at the docks. The cruise boat was easily accessible to anyone that can navigate a few stairs. Afterwards, we headed to The Dock restaurant for the lunch and drinks package, which was included in the tour price. We had a burger, chips and a beer or wine. The whole experience was very reasonably priced and we all enjoyed the cooling breezes while out on the water and I'll be recommending it to my family and friends.

      A great canal trip
A great chance to see the neighbourhood. A great skipper with knowledge of the area. The boat was restored beautifully and was very comfortable. Being offered drinks on board was also excellent. Touring around the river with the music playing was a fabulous way to spend an hour.

      Amazing Xmas light cruise!
My client and I came on a Christmas light cruise in December 2023. We both loved it, and the staff were super friendly- they took photos of us for us and chatted! The Christmas lights were awesome and staff answered any questions we had. The only downside would be that my disabled client had to pay for 2 tickets even though he had a companion card and a concession card. Would be nice if they started accepting free companions as these individuals have 24/7 care and don't have a choice about taking a carer with them. He ended up paying for 1 full adult ticket plus one concession but as he had a concession and companion card it should have really been a concession ticket paid for and his carer for free with his companion card.

      Highly recommend!!
Cruising the canals with these guys is great! It's a small (therefore personal) ferry and the staff are so friendly and helpful. A really lovely way to see the neighbourhood. We did the Christmas lights cruise this time, but will try a daytime one in a few months with some overseas visitors.

      Excellent service, Great engagement!
Had a blast with my fiancée on the canal cruise listening to some very interesting historical narratives of Mooloolaba. Captain and crew were fantastic and engaged everyone in the cruise. The sites were serene and definitely worth a second cruise. We even had the opportunity to get on the captain deck and drive the boat. Overall it was a wonderful time.

My wife and I enjoyed a leisurely cruise along the canals of Mooloolaba with this company. Rob and Holly were great hosts and Rob’s narrative was both informative and amusing. Would highly recommend this tour for a good view of the many expensive houses on the canals.

Our family took the afternoon canal cruise and really enjoyed our time on the classic ferry. Paul was our captain and he provided the right amount of humor and local knowledge to keep the trip interesting.

We had wonderful weather and the slow motoring around the canals was both fun and relaxing. The wooden ferry was built in 1963 if I recall correctly and it is in amazing shape given its time on the water.

The number of canals is surprising given you rarely see them from the road. And as you can imagine, the homes backing onto the canal run from simple to amazing.

I would highly recommend the canal tour to anyone spending some time in the Mooloolaba area. It is enjoyable for ages 7 to 70.

We met a friend for lunch at Spero Greek restaurant on Mooloolaba Wharf one of our favourites then had a coffee on the wharf beside the Mooloolaba Canal Cruise boat and decided we needed to try this cruise. Georgia and Paul were wonderful and very informative. We would recommend anyone new or old to the Sunshine Coast to take the cruise it’s only an hour but so worth it.

This cruise is affordable, funny, informative and engaging for adults and kids. Bring a drink, sit back and relax as you learn and bask in the local area, feed the local pelicans and fish and chat with the team about the surrounds.

I had so much fun I came back for a second time bringing my mum along for the trip. She really enjoyed all the facts about the people and places that came up over the course of an hour.

Highly recommend supporting this local Queensland family🙏

Hi Zac, Again, thank you so much for your support. It truly is stupendous. We really do have something for everyone. Hopefully we'll be able to get the kids driving the boat again soon. COVID has prevented us from doing this. Shame, so much fun for the kids, and a great photo opportunity.

Skipper Rob and the delightful Holly were the perfect hosts to us and our visiting friends from Victoria. Whether you are a local or visitor to our beautiful region, we highly recommend that you take an hour to sit back and enjoy a leisurely cruise through our waterways, listening to Rob’s informative commentary (and sense of humour!).

Rob’s passion and pride in the historic M.V. Mudjimba and the Mooloolaba area is evident. We will look forward to bringing our grandchildren onboard to enjoy the Christmas Lights tour! We’ll certainly be back… thank you.

I have been living on the Sunshine Coast now for 4 years and I am kicking myself I did not do this sooner. This was a wonderful family experience with a Skipper and crew that really care and understand the area like no one else. Our kids both got to steer the boat, plus feed the pelicans and got up close and personal with some local fish, all of this really made the day. If you are looking for the best-priced Mooloolaba Cruising experience, then look no further, these guys do it best.

For anyone looking to see a little of the harbour, in the company of younger children, I'd thoroughly recommend. So few of the tourist attractions are welcoming, or understand the pressures of travelling with infants, but, these guys clearly do. They went out of their way throughout our trip to engage the children, getting their names as soon as we boarded, and then name checking them through the commentary. As we landed back at the wharf, a nice final touch was the opportunity for the kids to feed the fish. Well done for such a family focused experience. It means a lot.

This is a great tour. A really relaxing trip around the Mooloolaba canals. Lots of information about the area, it’s history and some of the local houses - some with any too much spare cash (not allowed to build a helicopter landing pad on the roof so build a tennis court instead).

Kids can usually steer boat at some point but this trip they couldn’t allow that because of COVID restrictions.

I always tell people to do this tour if they are holiday there. We do this tour every time we are on holiday at the Sunshine Coast.

We hadn’t heard about this cruise until a waitress mentioned it to us at a local cafe during breakfast. It sounded interesting and a nice break from the beach so we immediately sought it out. We weren’t disappointed!

I left a message on the company’s answering service to check whether they had room in the cruise scheduled to depart in 2 hours at 1pm. A quick response and we were booked in seamlessly.

The boat is an old reconditioned ferry with cafe blinds that are open unless it’s pouring with rain so you are right there on the water rather than staring out through glass windows like the other local cruise boats we saw.

We absolutely loved it! Captain Callan and crew member Rain were superb! Informative and attentive. Drinks were served at a reasonable price - soft or alcoholic and simple snacks available.

We cruised the natural and manmade canals listening to Callan’s intermittent (ie not too overbearing) informative and humorous commentary. We learned about which celebrities owned which house, what the current sales figures are compared with 30 years’ ago, the local neighbourhood gossip about who antagonises who and how. It was like listening to a soap opera amongst $25M homes with a bit of history thrown in.

The hour passed very quickly and before we knew it, we were back on dry land with recommendations for great local places to eat during our stay. Highly recommend this as an entertaining break to an afternoon!

The canal cruise had an easy booking system and was a great activity for showing our interstate visitors the canals of Mooloolaba and the beautiful houses. Even the departure point had lots of interesting shops to look at while waiting. The feeding of the pelicans and fish was an added bonus for our 2 year old granddaughter. As experience providers ourselves, who also employ our teens to help out, we loved seeing the father and daughter duo operating the cruise.
