        Eumundi visit
Early trip to avoid the crowds so we were there at 9:30am due to no other pickups. Three hrs is plenty of time to check out the market and have a sneaky drink at the pub. Mark was great and well travelled so we had a great chat. Definitely recommend this trip especially because parking is at a premium during market days and you don’t need to worry about it. Great food experience and lots of interesting stalls. Well worth the trip. Thanks Coast to Hinterland.

Loved the food and the shopping stops. Rob was friendly and punctual but we would have liked more local information on the drive.

It was really a great outing, especially with an awesome driver Dave. We came away with things we cant buy in NZ.
We enjoyed our coach trip to Emundi Markets, Dave was the best guy for our trip there and back. He gave us a history lesson on Emundi and the old buildings and shops. Our three hours at the markets went fairly fast, had some great buys. I had been there 3 times before but this time my daughter came with me. We tried different food for lunch and had the most delicious mango juice.

        Wonderful Day
A wonderful day. Our driver Jeff from Coast To Hinterland Tours was amazing, the knowledge he spoke about was like an encyclopaedia, so very interesting history of the areas, that we went to. Would highly recommended this tour. Food, wine, shops & scenery excellent.

A great, relaxed scenic food and wine tour!
We had the opportunity to participate in the Scenic, Food, Cheese and Wine Tour. This was included in our package. Our host was Rob and we were picked up from the Mantra Mooloolaba as pickup was unavailable for us at the Ultiqa Shearwater at Caloundra. We parked under the Coles for free with no consequences. Our tour was 8 people (our party was of 4) on a minibus. The day started by visiting the Maleny Cheese Factory - excellent cheese tasting. From here, we visited a lookout of the Glasshouse Mountains. We then had time in Maleny which included a small chocolate tasting and selection of our free chocolate. We then had the opportunity to look through the interesting local shops - very enjoyable cute town. We then visited Clouds winery where we did a flight of wines. At this point it was clear that our small group really clicked and we had a fun time at the wine tasting. We then went to Secret’s of the Lake at Montville for lunch. A beautiful location which should be considered for accomodation! After lunch, we visited the town of Montville (also another cute tourist town) and viewed the Mapleton falls. I highly recommend doing this tour. It was a lot of fun and we got to see things we ordinarily would not have. Thanks very much!

The whole day was spectacular. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and added to the experience. The look outs of the mountains were beautiful, the rainforest walk was so healing and we even saw a few pademelons (mini wallabies). The Ginger Factory was very interesting and unique. The lunch was delicious and Montville is an architects paradise and the shops there were great too. I would highly recommend this all day (including lunch tour).

The whole trip was fantastic. Great group of Kiwi’s and Aussies. Even though it wasn’t a day for good views at lookouts we all still enjoyed ourselves. Great cheeses and shopping at first stop. Most impressive lunch. Wines were okay. Chocolate shop and more shopping went down a treat. Guide was lovely and informative.

If you want to get away from the beachside (I departed from Mooloolaba), then go into the Sunshine Coast Hinterland on this great day tour hosted and driven by Geoff of "Coast to Hinterland Tours". This company will run any of their published tours even with just 1 person (as in my case) and other small tour companies would do well to follow their lead if they wish their business to thrive. Geoff was very informative at all the interesting sites we visited and I was impressed with his numerical and factual knowledge. A walk through the delightfully quaint village of Montville, and a lovely 2-course lunch at 'Secrets' overlooking the stunning Lake Baroon were particular highlights. Based on this tour experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending any of their other tours and believe they have found the right niche in the market for this area. Ideal for the 40+ age demographic. Stewart

I did the Rainforest and Montville Day Trip from Noosa or Mooloolaba with two friends and we had a marvellous day. Our tour guide and driver Geoff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the day was well planned. We certainly saw a lot of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland starting with Yandina where we visited an excellent coffee roaster, then a nut factory and finally the famous Ginger Factory. We then went to Montville where we had plenty of time to explore. For lunch, Secrets on the Lake Cafe near Montville was surprise. The café is situated in rainforest right next to Lake Baroon and served us all brilliant meals and desserts. You certainly do not expect such quality on tours and Coast to Hinterland Tours are to be congratulated for finding this place. We ended the day at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve where we got to walk through the rainforest before being dropped by at our accommodation in Noosa. Overall this tour is excellent value and I would be happy to recommend Coach to Hinterland Tours to anyone who wants a great day out. I am looking forward to trying more of their tours in future.
