If I could recommend any sunset cruise it’ll be you guys!! Perfect timing not too long and not too short, amazing vibe and atmosphere, 21st birthday made it way more exciting especially for the young at heart, the mixture of age groups was sensational, onboard entertainment superb and the service was top notch! Friendly vibe loved it! ☺️✌️

We booked what we thought would be a peaceful cruise around the bay, but unfortunately we got 2 hens nights and by the end music was pumping and everyone was very drunk and yelling, not very peaceful, the crew were just busy serving drinks to worry about anyone else, just a shame we ended up with hens parties, I am glad they had a good time though, us not so much

This was a last minute idea and it was one of the best experiences of our trip. We were slowly taken around the bay where we saw turtles and watched the sunset with nibbles and sparkling wine. I highly recommend this if you want something romantic and chill to do!

A very relaxing, lovely sunset cruise with a friendly bunch of people. The crew were great & the nibbles & welcoming glass of wine were very nice. Lovely views & sunset. They also take photos of everyone & put them on Facebook for you to download for free. I would recommend this.

This would have to be one of the best boat trips we have done! Such a relaxed yet upbeat atmosphere and everyone was having a good time from beginning to end. Very good price with dinner included at Sorrentos afterwards. We really enjoyed the welcome drink on arrival, platter of food that was brought around and the music being played. Two hours was plenty of time to relax and enjoy the sunset. On our cruise, there wasn’t much of a sunset at all (overcast and rainy) but they still made it fun for us and took photos for us all the same. These photos were then put on Facebook for us to access for free. Would definitely recommend this trip!

The team was amazing! They set the tone for a fun night right from the ramp! Drinks were very reasonable prices, no different to what you would pay on the mainland. Very friendly crew, amazing views, couldn’t have asked for a better night

We did the Sunset Dinner cruise with Robert and Rip. It was fantastic and Robert was very entertaining. Sorrento restaurant was great and the combination of the 2 was great value for money!

We did the sunset cruise with Sundowner and holy!!! Ill be honest. I was disappointed at the travel agency that I couldn’t get a yacht but we could not have picked a better cruise. We were greeted by 2 gentlemen who were soo funny, happy and had champagne waiting. We set off on the bay. The atmosphere with the music, lights and sunset was just incredible. You can walk about the boat, it has a table in the middle and a bar. 💯 recommend and can’t wait to do again.

Booking process - easy, confirmation and reminder emails received. Check in on arrival not bad once you managed to find the right company. That area is packed with people getting back from day trips and people checking in for sunset cruises. The cruise itself was awesome, bar some very hammered passengers. Friendly crew and good size boat to hold the amount of passengers. Nice nibbles and good drinks range. Really good experience without in a simple way, rather than a fancy elite experience - which is what I prefer.

Our 2 cruses were 4 months apart Our previous time on Sundowner in May on a Tuesday evening was the highlight of our 3 days in Airlie and have recommended many friends to do the cruse ( we are semi locals from nearby Mackay). But our trip last Saturday night was NOT a enjoyable night, on our last tour we had a good commentary about what house and buildings , boats and other points of interest we could see and background info on them. And photos on the bow at sunset. I great romantic night, Last Saturday , no commentary, loud music and 2 very noisy groups on board, more like a booze cruse, If you want a quieter ,romantic cruse make sure you check who is the crew for the night ( and book a night when the photographer crew man is on) and ask if they know who is coming, and if our experience last Saturday is typical weekend cruse, best to not go on a Saturday night if you want a romantic night like in most of the posts/ pics on their face book site And possibly Friday as possibly locals out for a boozy night also. The nibbles are appropriate and fresh and topped up during the cruse, not a meal, but nibbles. I know it is difficult for Sundowner to know exactly who will be on board, but hopefully they may have some idea from the type of booking that have been made. I may go again but will be booking direct with Sundowner and asking questions. I am a person who dislikes loud music and noise, like to be able to talk easily, not have to struggle to talk

Excellent sunset cruise. Great value, enjoyed food and drinks on hand. Crew, Bob & Noel, were a great laugh, perfect hosts. Scenery was fantastic (everyone will get that) sunset was magnificent (good luck for us on that one).

We had a beautiful evening on sundowner. The guys were fun but still very professional. They made sure everyone was included and enjoyed the cruise. It was just so pretty out on the bay at sunset. The photos were great. I saw a sea eagle lots of gulls flying alongside as we came in after dusk. There were turtles popping up and then in the marina a school of garfish jumping all around us. Just such a picture perfect part of the world. So relaxing. If you are driving Just make sure you get there a bit early to sort out the parking in the paid council car park.

Staff are really nice and friendly. Can’t fault them, not do I wish to anyway. Safety was paramount which I was impressed by being ex cabin crew. Perfect weather and great views. Do it

We recently had a hens for 20+ women on Sundowner and it was amazing the guys are brilliant and so accomodating and fun. I would highly recommend this service and the views were breath taking.

We went on this sunset cruise and it was absolutely beautiful sailing around as the sun set behind the mountains and ocean. Glass of champagne as we boarded and drinks available to purchase and nibbles supplied. The lights from buildings as the sky became dark. The seagulls swooped the fish as they were jumping in the light from the boat. The skipper and crew were very friendly. They took photos of each couple or group as the sun set and we were able to view and save the picture from their Facebook page. Great way to spend an evening with your partner or as a group.
