      An awesome day out.
My wife and I have literally just had one of the best days ever doing the Whitehaven Beach and hill tour with Cruise Whitsundays. The weather wasn't the best in the morning, and we nearly decided to give it a miss... im so glad we didnt. We were picked up from Hamilton Island at 8.30 and an hour or so later transfered to a smaller boat to take us to the inlet beach. The staff are so attentive, and our guide, Redman, was a star, being both funny and knowledgeable. The views of the inlet are amazing, and after that you find your self in 10 inches of water with Lemon sharks and stingrays... how cool is that! You then make your way to a second beach where you spend the afternoon at your leasure and having the brilliant BBQ that is prepared for you. Thank you Cruise Whitsundays for a brilliant day.

      Excellent all round!
Fantastic trip all round. Crew were awesome, very funny but super helpful. Sails were up for a bit, food and drink flowing. Whitsunday is simply out of this world and a must see. Views were incredible and beach and water was pristine - squeaky sand was an experience! Extra advice when for when you get off the boat to the island: go to the toilet before and take extra water as it was extremely hot and humid! Snorkelling was class from what my partner told me though it was jelly fish season so stinger suits were on (I’m not a water baby like her). Definitely worth it for the price!

Magical night on the Great Barrier Reef!
Absolutely loved it! Swimming on the Great Barrier Reef was an unbelievable experince! Stella and Brooke were exceptional hosts who couldn't do enough for us and always with a smile! Antione the chef excelled , the good was plentiful and delicious. I have to say that the constant harassment by the birds at meal times was not ideal! Our group all took it in good part but I am sure a less tolerant group would have been really upset by it!

Great experience turned into horror film.
This location and setup is wonderful. The "suite" itself is great. The experience of going to the reef, snorkeling, diving, sub with windows tour are all good. You share the afternoon with many others who are there for the day. Mid afternoon everyone not spending the night leaves ... This is when the horror story starts. There is a serious Bird issue. To the point of the birds attacking guest for food. Imagine being on a pontoon (which is what you are on) in the middle of the ocean and have 1000 (maybe more) birds on this pontoon wanting food. You have the only food and they do anything to get to it... including flying into the submerged observatory where we had diner... eating diner while getting attacked by birds. If you are on the deck in late afternoon, evening or night, the birds swarm around you. There is also the sound of this many birds.... and with this many birds, they poop.... lots of it.... and it stinks. It makes this experience a nightmare. Until the bird issue is fixed, I would consider this venue uninhabitable. This is not a "1" star but not safe for humans warning.

A great day out. Thought I wouldn't like it but love it the time went so quick. But you need to get in the water to get
The trip i wanted to go on was cancelled last minute so i booked this trip to fill in the day. I had seen this trip on tv and felt that it was not for me. I was wrong the pontoon is a fair way out and on a flat calm day the trip out was great. I first went on ghe semi-sub while i waited for my pre booked dives. The sub was OK the reef colours are muted due to the thick glass. The viewing deck is fun as you can watch the divers and snorkellers, as well as the fish, but again thick glass.... Introduction dive was fantastic good safety briefing safe area to practice until you are happy to start your dive. The dive instructor holds your hand the whole time. I had dived before and my instructor felt confident to let me move on my own. Second dive was with the same instructor which was great. Plenty to seegreat experience. I also did a short snorkel and plenty to see, and not crowded looks busy from the pontoon but once your in plenty of space to move around see the coral and fish with out people close by. A great day. Money well spent.

      Wonderful
My experience with Camira Sailing Adventure was fantastic! The buffet was delicious, and the crew was amazing—they were very attentive and made sure we had a great time. The snorkeling was a lot of fun, and the view of Whitehaven Beach was absolutely stunning. The purple boat is very unique and added to the charm of the trip. My two friends and I were all very happy. A special shout-out to the crew on March 14th, 2025—they were awesome! They were also very friendly to Chinese people! We will definitely come back next time!

      Best trip in the Whitsundays
Today was the perfect balance between exploring the Whitsundays and relaxing. The boat was huge we were initially taken back by the fact the boat held 70 people but there was plenty of space for everyone if you wanted to shelter from the sun or sit right on the front and sunbathe. The crew were incredible leading us on the view point walk Harrison and Dakota went out of their way to make it enjoyable and to ensure we got the all important photo. After we enjoyed the perfect amount of time on Whitehaven beach. Back on board we enjoyed the really incredible bbq food made by Lily who was also super helpful in getting my mum prescription goggles to ensure she could enjoy the snorkel too. There are so many different tours to do in the Whitsundays but I honestly do believe this is the best one if you’re a couple on a family holiday or going solo. Thanks guys hopefully we can back again soon!

      6 stars or more!
If we could’ve given this more stars, we would! It was unbelievable. The pictures don’t do it justice. From the time you board the boat (we boarded at Hamilton Island), you are treated like royalty. The crew were amazing, particularly Alison, Alba and Emily. A snorkeling tour is included and we also did a scuba dive. Hardy’s reef is beautiful. The real fun begins when everyone else leaves the pontoon to head home at 2.45pm. That’s the time to jump in the water and have a dive or snorkel. Drinks and canapés are served on the top deck as the sun sets. We opted for dinner underwater in the observatory, which was amazing. Credit to the chef! The view from the reefsuite has to be seen to be believed. Huge Giant Trevally and Grouper. It’s surreal. A helicopter flight back to Hamilton the next day tops off the adventure. Do it!

      Amazing experience. Bucket list definite
Amazing to ‘camp’ on the barrier reef. Seeing sunrise and sunset over the ocean was magical. Food and drink was superb. Definitely worth the extra as the day trip looked chaotic and far too brief with too many people. When they left there were just 8 of us on the pontoon, free to eat, drink, snorkel or sunbathe whenever we wanted. All equipment provided too.

      Avoid overcrowded tours
We’ve been on two full day tours with CRS Whitsundays - Great Barrier Reef adventure and Whitehaven beach grilling and chill. On both tours the large boat is rammed full of around 200 tourists. The food is basic and the emphasis is on money making. They constantly sell you extra services.

Half day beach day is 1.5 hour on the beach
This is a hall day tour from Arlie to the beach. They use a big Ferry that stop on the resorts island to drop off people. Then change ferry on Hamilton Island so you have just over one hour on the beach . So drop this one , not good

      Memories to last forever
This was a truly memorable experience. The reefsuite gave a spectacular view of the sea and life. It was mesmerising. The location of course is amazing but the attention to detail by the staff made this trip special. The whole staff on board worked so hard and look after us Particular mention to Alison and Pryia who were always there to help us. The food was amazing and any dietary needs were attended to. I would like to thank Felix, from the dive team who supported me to complete my first ever snorkel safari. His patience gave me confidence. I have been so scared of putting my head under water for years, but I did it. He was amazing. If you get a chance to experience a night under the sea and stars, then take it. One suggestion for my return. Can you put Rose wine on the menu. Totes amazing and the memories will stay with me forever. Thank you

      Average Tour - Rude Captain
Me and my boyfriend booked a half day tour to Whitehaven Beach. Unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to go to Whitehaven and had to go to an alternative beach. This was disappointing but appreciate it was out of the company’s control. The tour itself was fine, we spent two hours on the beach and were provided with stinger suits for swimming and sandwiches for lunch. There were also drinks available to buy which were added to a tab and paid at the end on the boat. However, what we were most shocked about was the Captains attitude. My boyfriend had a brain haemorrhage and multiple aneurysms a few years back which resulted in his balance being affected. The Captain called out my boyfriend in front of people and said: “you’ve had one too many drinks today and I need to keep an eye on you” I completely appreciate he was not to know however when we told him of my boyfriends medical history, no apology was given, and he then made further comments about my boyfriend over the tannoy on the boat which everyone could hear! As we had told him of my boyfriend’s situation, I was shocked and disgraced that he was treated this way - I thought in 2025 we weren’t to discriminate against anyone? In addition to this, a young man had asked the Captain if he could take his elderly relative to the bathroom before we departed the boat for our time on the beach. The Captain made sarcastic comments about how much time they had had before we departed and was just overall quite rude to them. Overcall, this trip was fine although in hindsight the full day tour would have been better but the Captain ruined this for us with his ignorance and appalling behaviour. Hopefully future trips on our Australian holiday will be better!

For your safety I do not recommend this trip
One of the worst trips we have encountered during our Oz travel experience. We have been on a number of certified dives in Oz and elsewhere in the world and this was by far the worst in terms of safety. Once arriving on the pontoon, we were advised to quickly head to the scuba dive centre. The allocation of dive gear was extremely disorganised, our allocated dive crew struggled to find dive tanks over 180/190 PSI and was only given partial equipment by our allocated guide. Because of the utter chaos to organise the tanks and the remaining dive equipment we were forced onto the smaller boat out to the reef part way through our buddy safety checks (very disconcerting). We were asked to do our buddy safety checks whilst on the stand up boat which was impossible as we had to hold on in choppy waters. Once stopped we were told to get into the water immediately, of which I later I learnt one of our group was forcibly pushed in by our scuba guide when he was not ready! Our safety buddy check remained incomplete. Prior to the dive my partner clearly articulated he needed time equalise as he descended , however he was rushed and at one point, felt very anxious that he almost abandoned the dive (very unlike him to feel anxious and has done multiple dives). This trip was utter chaos and felt like a meat processing factory. It felt like profit was put ahead of customer experience and safety. How there has not been a serious accident I do not know, it is only a matter of when, not if. Would not recommend this trip to anyone. Thankfully, out of all our 5 boat trips (which included diving and snorkeling), this was the only one I would not recommend. I'm not one to write bad reviews however, in the necessity of health and safety in such a high risk activity I feel the need to warn others

A once in a life time visit to a pristine Cilicia beach. The 8km of white sand with the tropical forest setting as the back drop are breathtaking. Took some time to explore the path ways and a dip in the clear blue ocean. Though a stinger suit is recommended at this time of year. Hamilton island was a chance to see the resort island over a pub lunch. Saw the kangaroos but the deer don’t come out until dark.

Great trip to Whitehaven beach and Hamilton Island loved the experience, even saw some Whales which was a highlight. I think you need to ask for people's dietary requirements I'm vegan and my husband vegetarian, we could not eat the sausages at the BBQ, instead were given a piece of bread with onion in it nothing else. At the lunch there was no vegan option, I eventually got a vegan burger and chips which was fine. We paid the same as everyone else to go on this trip and should receive the same value for money as everyone else. If you're not going to cater for everyone let us know, give us a discount and we'll bring our own food next time.

We are happy that you enjoyed your Whitehaven Beach & Hamilton Island experience, seeing whales is an added bonus when visiting at this time of year. I do apologise that your dietary requirements were not catered for, we do ask guests to advise catering requirements at the time of booking and when sending a Cruise Whitsundays confirmation email so we can be prepared for these requests. I have raised with our Guest Experience Manager the requirement of having back up options for the occasions when we are not advised to ensure that we can still offer an alternative.

Hamilton Island was fantastic, we hired a buggy and went around the island and then enjoyed the pools and beaches.

However the food at the fish and chips shop is terrible (popeyes) . Its a $15 voucher for a $190 cruise package. The food is a small portion and they don't have any other options for you to add on things. We even asked them to switch the chips for salad for dietary reason and they refused. Literally gave us a grilled fish in a box for lunch. Highly recommend this voucher change tk a other restaurant on the island.

Aside from that the crew were super friendly. They didn't have seasickness medication. Only the ginger option which we already had with us however some family members needed something stronger as it was a little rocky from Hamilton to Whitehaven beach.

Whitehaven is beautiful. Recommend you take snorkel gear and and umbrella as shadey spots are limited of your in a big group. The water is just beautiful to swim in and the crew had some beach activities and boards for you to paddle out on.

Arvo tea was good, they had some fruit and profiteroles along with some cheeses and meats. Made up for the poor lunch option.

Wish we had more time here. We leave early to then head back to Hamilton and day dream island for drop offs and pickups.

Overall a great experience. Just take some food and snacks as everything is quite pricey.

The Whitsunday Islands are amazing but this trip was a big disappointment. The trip was $200AUS per person and was a waste of the money but most importantly our previous vacation time. Hamilton Island is beautiful and worth a shuttle out to see it at less than $30AUS but the the trip we booked claimed to provide the use of facilities and pool of the Yatch Club which was closed. The beaches are not swimable this time of year without a stinger suit which was not provided for this leg. The lunch a Popeys Fish and Chips provided a very generous amount of fish but it seemed precooked and pretty tasteless.
The trip to Whitehaven should have been the highlight but due to unfavourable winds we were landed at Chance Cove which given the huge number of fabulous beaches in the area was a strange choice- absolutely nothing to recommend it- small and unremarkable in any respect. They didn't even take us past the iconic beach we paid for. they provided a BBQ of fried hot dogs and fried onions that they could have just as easily done without.
    Major disappointment.

We’re sincerely sorry that your day with us did not meet your expectations. We truly apologise for any confusion regarding the access to the Yacht Club pool. As stated in our inclusions, the tour provides access to the main resort pool at Hamilton Island.   The decision to visit Chance Bay on Whitsunday Island is made with guest safety in mind, especially when northerly winds are blowing. This location allows us to safely disembark guests while ensuring everyone’s comfort and security. While we understand this change may have been disappointing, it is made with the well-being of our guests as the top priority.  We also regret to hear that you didn’t enjoy your sausage.

Nice boat Hamilton Island is beautiful drive from airlie Beach takes about 1 h. On Hamilton Island you have a food voucher in a small restaurant, I recommend the burgers which are super good. Then you drive about 45 minutes to Whitheavenbeach, beautiful. There you get a little snack. There are also snacks on the way back via Hamilton Island.

One of our most beautiful days in Australia, thank you!

Basically you spent $189 for two way ferry tickets and one lunch meal.

    1) Starting from 7:30am, You’ll spend 2.5hr on boat, stopping by Hamilton and Day dream island waiting for other clients on board, before you arrive whitehaven beach, and will spend 2hr on beach only. No time for other spots.

    2) Then you back at 11:40am around, head to hamilton island for lunch and visiting there by yourself, before back to Airlie beach at 5:20pm.

    3) Lunch doesn’t include drink and is like 20$ worthy. Tastes pretty awful.
Morning tea/coffee and yogurt are available but nobody will remind u. You should ask others and go by yourself for food.

Many other tour people are on same boat. You’ll just be someone who take the boat and get a seat, not joining any tour.

Nobody will care you or lead your trip or giving u any info unless you ask the staff every time. I have to book this tour as other good ones are all booked up and I don’t have time staying here long.

For your reference, the other whithaven beach tour with tour guide, trekking and snorkeling activities, only costs $200 around. Do remember to book earlier for other good comments tour unless you’re as hurry as me and have no other choice.

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your Self Guided Whitehaven Beach and Hamilton Island Combo experience. We understand that self-guided experiences are not what everyone is looking for in a tour, however this is clearly indicated in marketing material with the other listed inclusions stating, up to two hours on Whitehaven Beach with stops along way at Daydream Island and Hamilton Island. Our team will provide you with a brief itinerary of events and suggest downloading the Hamilton Island App for further information. Announcements are made on the vessel to advise that Morning Tea is being served, lunch is offered at the Marina Tavern, however should you of booked the Whitehaven Beach Morning Tour and return transfers separately ($210 cost) you could of then chosen to lunch at any location on the island.

I have booked a full day tour to Hamilton and Whitehaven. The booking process was easy and straightforward. I have been picked up from my hotel by lovely driver who took the time to talk about the area on our way to the marina. Staff on board was very friendly and welcoming and made sure everyone is comfortable and looked after. Lunch was included on Hamilton Island, fish and chips but there were a few other options available. On return, I was picked up and taken back to my hotel. There were no delays throughout the journey.
Really good option to explore both Hamilton and Whitehaven.
Tip: there are 2 booking options, visiting Whitehaven in the morning or afternoon. I have booked Whitehaven pm but I think it may be better to go in the morning if you’re planning sunbathing.

This trip is a self guided tour of Hamilton island and white haven beach so do your homework and understand what you’re getting. I would recommend doing white haven in the AM slot and Hamilton in PM as lunch is included on Hamilton and you will be rushed to have it before departure at 11.50 for the beach . The staff and facilities are great my only criticism is the lack of communication on where to go for lunch and what to do or where to swim ect on Hamilton
They also had a drinks package which we didn’t know about or told until latter in the day . They had 2 or 3 other trips on the same boat so everyone is put in different areas
Morning tea and the lunch was nice and fresh

Thank you for taking the time to review our product. We're sorry to read that you were provided with limited information regarding your recent Self Guided Trip. We do endeavour to provide all guests a brief overview of the day ahead at check in and provide a breakdown of the itinerary with your boarding passes. I have taken your feedback on board and will be looking at including information about the Hamilton Island app on future tickets. We're glad you enjoyed your lunch and morning tea.

We booked a cruise with Whitsunday ferry to Hamilton Island.
The terminal is amazing and our checkin girl was lovely. So friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I forgot her name.
The ferry itself needs a renovation. Its a bit rundown. Even the Radoms which protect the radar from the elements was broken in 2 pieces.
Staff didnt explain very well where the swimvest were stored. Everything was over the microphone and very hard to understand.
There is selfserve for tea and coffee on board.
We took the ferry via Daydream island.
The trip itself was great, lovely scenery with blue water. Picture perfect. We would do the trip anytime again if we are back in the area. If you signed up with Turtle Club you get a discounted rate on the fare.
