- Cinthi0 contributionsInteresting visit! It’s a interesting museum to visit. It’s not THAT big as others oceanographic museums but it has some specimens of the region.Written 3 February 2018
- Susanne j0 contributionsVery interesting museum with sealife of BrasilWith adult friends we enjoyed the museum that leads you in a one-way direction through a nicely presented ( only in portuguese) world of historical things, diving equipment, sealife in aquariums and in liquid and stuffed high and low. Interesting sceletons of animals. I liked it a lot!Written 16 January 2018
- jamaro910 contributionsInteresting walk through the marine world!Museum is well built , but its collection is still not great. When I visited some items didn´t have information. The museum is maintained by the Unoversidade do Vale do Itajaí and has some rare and curious items . It´s a beautiful visit for sure.Written 28 July 2016

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful experience. Everything was well maintained, the parts were well positioned and clean. The only thing that I believe would improve the experience is having subtitles throughout the collection. Many pieces had no description, making it difficult for everyone to understand. Other than that, I found it all very interesting.

The museum is pretty legal! It has several bones, curiosities and animal species, all in real size. The visit is cheap until and does not last longer than 1h30. The only thing we didn't like very much was the sensory experience because of the smell of formol from the place.
