- manwithabackpack0 contributionsGreat way to see the outbackWe did The Ultimate Outback Adventure Tour. Pick up early from resorts to airport. Fixed wing plane which holds 3 passengers and pilot. Day starts at dawn take off and flies around Uluṟu as the sun rises then into Kata Tjuṯa and then onto lake Amadeus then into kings canyon. Pilot knowledge was great and able to answer any questions. We landed on cattle station desert airstrip which was very smooth as they say like butter. Land Rover pick up and transfer to the station, had a coffee and muffins then into king’s canyon for a walk through the base. Back to cattle station for some lunch before takeoff and back to Uluṟu. For us this was the best way to see the true outback. Pick up byWritten 10 September 2024
- Linda C0 contributionsAmazing day outback. We did the Ultimate Outback Adventure, on small fixed wing flight with Kings Canyon base walk. 6 hours of pure adventure and amazement. Thomas, our pilot for the day, was friendly and very informative & also joined by Jack, who had made the trip on the previous night, to the cattle station, to pick us up, on his day off. Both young men joined us on the base walk, they were amazing to spend the time with. Can’t speak highly enough of them. After a great flight over Uluru, Kata Tjuṯa, Lake Amadeus and Kings Canyon, we landed at Kings Creek Station authentic air strip, we enjoyed the base walk before heading back to a remote cafe and enjoyed a camel burger before heading back. The cost is well worth the experience. We had an amazing day. Thank you so much guys, we will be singing your praises for a long time.Written 30 August 2024
- C7716AYchrisc0 contributionsAwesome ExperienceWhat an awesome experience we had.. Tom our pilot was fantastic!! Very professional, I was very nervous about the size of the plane, but he took it slow explaining everything making sure I was ok and relaxed. It was a "Brilliant" experience, one I am so glad I had. Thankyou Tom you are a great pilot and a fantastic guide, your experience & knowledge was very much appreciated đź‘Ź. ChristineWritten 22 August 2024
- davidgV9306AD0 contributionsThe freedom of flightExceptional experience that both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. We had the smooth hands of pilot Jack Irish who provided great commentary and was able to answer any and all of our questions. I would highly recommend this flight to anyone who would appreciate the vista provided by a flight over Uluru and Kata Tjuta.Written 20 August 2024
- Anne C0 contributionsWonderful experience! We had the most amazing flight experience. It was just the 2 of us with the pilot (whose name slips my mind) in a small plane that only seats 4 ( incl the pilot). The views from the air helped us put into perspective the walks we took earlier around Uluru and Kata-Tjuta. The pilot was excellent and super friendly. My husband, who sat in front had a great time watching the controls and the pilot flying the plane and the take off / landings. Highly recommended!Written 16 August 2024
- Z2451NWmichellek0 contributionsA great way to celebrate a birthday. The flight was a birthday gift for my husband's 70th birthday. We were collected from our accommodation by our pilot Jack and transported to the airport. Jack was very thorough with his explanation of the plane, the safety procedures, and flight. During the flight he provided information about Uluru, Kata Tjuta, and the surrounds. I am not a good flier, but his calm manner and confidence was reassuring. It was a great flight and if you only do one thing at Uluru do this.Written 10 August 2024
- 414honeyb0 contributionsAbsolutely worth it, the experience of a lifetime.First time on a small plane and I was a bit nervous, but our pilot, Hayden Cain, made the take off and landing so smooth, despite the high winds, that I was surprised both to find we were flying and when we landed! The views were amazing from up there and our pilot was knowledgeable about the landscape, Uluáąźu itself and the local people and history. It was pure joy to be up there and I cannot wait to return to do more flights and see more places with this company.Written 24 July 2024

- danielarO6227DJ0 contributionsAwesome experience.A must do when visiting Uluru. Our son was blown away by the experience. He loved everything about it, taking off amidst the red sand, circling Uluru and seeing the sand dunes. Thank you to Tim the pilot. After 3 days in Yulara the flight with you was our sons highlight!Written 8 May 2024
- E7219SEpeterc0 contributionsPoor Service - Not a tourist focused companyI do not recommend this company, given it is a tourist focused company, and in an area where many people come to experience what we have. Their reception desk in the main shopping centre we never saw a single person. Just sign indicating to phone them or leave an email. When you phone them you cannot leave a message, the message says to email. When you email it took them 22 hours to respond. This poor service and given the number of tourist's staying in just our hotel from overseas and around AU, this company needs to take a look at management of hospitality and what it really means to provide service. Interesting to note their telephone message says they are out flying, really what a joke. Their message also is very outed given what they mention regarding Covid-19.... We spent our money with other companies that had staff at their reception desk, had a person at the end of telephone and responded to our requests in less than 25 minutes. This poor experience will certainly reflect in the many people we come into contact with. I hope they take this feedback serious and take the appropriate action as this is very embarrassing for AU Tourism.Written 22 March 2024

Leaving the apartment in the dark we were very excited about our flight on a Cessna at sunrise with Captain Jack.
The 3 seater aircraft ( plus captain) took off so smoothly you hardly even noticed you had left the ground. Once in the air as the day dawned the colours of the day started to unfold as we saw the sun rising, a red fire ball in the sky it was fantastic to watch as Uluru and Kata Tjuta slowly came to life. Flying around them and seeing this from above was a whole new experience to seeing them at ground level. We then flew over Lake Amadeus which is the largest dry salt lake in the NT, it was huge around 180km long and we could see camel tracks in the salty surface, we even saw 2 wild camels in the bush, Captain Jack did a loop so we could see them clearly and take photos
Jacks commentary was informative and he was very nice and easy to chat too for the whole trip.
To top of a fabulous start too our day we also had a perfectly smooth flight & landing.
Thanks Jack we give this experience a 10 out of 10 and definitely the highlight as our already amazing trip.

Because of the weather, our originally booked afternoon flight had to be cancelled. The company was able to provide a sunrise flight for the following morning, and provided a bonus King's Canyon flight. While there were only 2 other passengers on the King's Canyon flight, the operator was under no obligation to provide us with an additional flight; weather conditions are definitely not something in the operator's control.

Just did the Lizard Safari covering Lake Amadeus, Kata Tjuta and Uluru at sunset. It was one of the best hours I've spent in the air. The colours and textures of the landscape at that time were breathtaking and magical. Thank you to Captain Jack for being so accommodating and letting me take photos with the window open. I had initially baulked at having to pay for an extra seat as I was the only passenger on the trip, but I have absolutely no regrets. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Thoroughly recommended to everyone who wants to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta
Seeing Uluru and especially Kata Tjuta from the air _and_ from not far away left me speechless and filled with joy. It was so much more than I expected. I still can't put it to words.
I've experienced Uluru and Kata Tjuta in many ways now, including seeing Ayers Rock from the plane during arrival and, I am still so grateful that I got to see them like this.
Also, about our pilot, James, he was excellent! He takes care of everything. Pick up, checking us in, the flight and the drive back! Through all, his cheerfulness was really nice, and he was a great guide, telling us about what we could see as we were flying too. His landing was especially impressive too; one of the smoothest landings I've seen!
Again, I thoroughly recommend this experience to everyone
Note: helicopter or airplane? The views are different. Helicopters are restricted to 500 feet below air planes. For some of the more stunning views that you get from above and appear on Instagram and brochures, I'd definitely recommend the airplane.

Highlight of our stay. Not to be missed amazing views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta (Olgas) You think you've seen it when you arrive by air, but it is so much more than we expected. We did the walk around the rock too but you get a totally different perspective from the air and the size and colours of the salt lake Amadeus was so impressive. Our pilot was excellent and very informative. We were picked up from the hotel and looked after the whole time. Highly recommended . Worth every cent. .

We were originally setting out for a longer flight including Kings Canyon but weather conditions at this time of year meant we needed to revise our plans - which was fine as our pilot James had our safety and comfort in mind at all times. Regardless, we felt very lucky to see what we did - views over Uluru you’d never otherwise see and same for the magnificent Kata Tjuta. Lake Amadeus can only be seem by air so this was a real treat. James was a terrific and knowledgeable pilot - we felt safe at all times. A highlight of our trip to Uluru.

Osman, our pilot, was PHENOMENAL. He was courteous, engaging, informative and willing to take on some requests from service users (such as doing another fly over). And the sights really do need to be seen to be believed. We got the enormous privilege of seeing Uluru up close as the sun set to the west of us, Kata Tjuta as the sun was starting to set, Lake Amadeus and the clay pans and the Garden of Eden at Kings Canyon. His skill was so great that it was really easy to take photos without shaking. Thank you Osman and ARSF.

Thanks Brenden for the sneaky Brenden selfie on our camera. Will be remembered as a highlight of our time experiencing Uluru. The flight over Lake Amadeus and trying to spot a camel or two was spectacular. Thanks again Brenden.
