Blackwood river was absolutely beautiful (so much so that we went back ourselves another day)! A wonderful day of adventure and wine. The kayaking setting was peaceful, serene and very beautiful. The 2 wineries we visited were small, family run and produced delicious drops! Paul was super communicative and very engaging.

Our two teenagers couldn’t resist turning it into a playful splashing competition, which added laughter and energy to the serene setting. Lunch at Berry Hill Farms was another standout moment. The picturesque grounds and beautifully prepared meal made it an experience to remember. The food, crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, was simply divine—a true farm-to-table feast that perfectly complemented the day. The wine tasting at boutique wineries was a highlight as well. Each winery had its own charm, offering not only exquisite blends but also fascinating stories behind their creations. The passion and craftsmanship of the winemakers shone through in every glass. Our host, Paul, was the cornerstone of this incredible experience. His deep knowledge of the area, warm hospitality, and flawless attention to detail elevated the day to something truly special. We had a blast on this tour with Paul, being native West Aussies who have travelled to the area for decades I am surprised how much we learned. We also discovered locations we didn't know existed, had a wonderfully serene paddle, delish lunch and spent way too much at the wineries! Thanks Paul!

A special way to feel a little bit like a local Paul our guide is brim full of interesting facts and fun banter. Bush, river, wine and agriculture info flowed freely throughout the day. This mixed tour was very enjoyable. Do it!

A splendid day out with Paul, his knowledge and enthusiasm was brilliant. A gentle kayak in the morning followed by a great lunch at Berry Farm then two small vineyards where 26 wines were sampled! One of the best tours we have done for years, I cannot recommend this highly enough. Many thanks.

What an excellent tour !! Definitely recommend this tour with Paul as it nicely splits up the day with a mix of beautiful scenery as you gently paddle down the river, then after a well earned lunch at picturesque Berry Farm (recommend the pie or sausage roll) on two a couple wineries.. Paul is a great tour guide, knowledgeable and very helpful providing suggestions for what to do on other days in the area.

Paul is an exceptional tour leader, knowledgeable, engaging, and warm. The kayaking was great. Not having kayaked for a number of years it was not too arduous, but challenging enough to be fun for oldies like us. The swim afterwards in Chapmans Pool is a must do! WiM Hoff eat your heart out! The lunch at The Berry Farm was a delight and the wineries - Brownhill and Redgate just wonderful. Numerous purchases made! Paul had everything perfectly timed and nothing felt rushed or too short. A tour with Surf N Dirt really is a must do. Thanks Paul. We leave with great memories.
