Just had the most amazing day yesterday on Surf N' Dirt Adventure Tours Margaret River. We started with a mountain bike through the forrest, the scenery changed 3 times it was so stunning. Then we stopped in to pick up the goodest boy we've ever met (Mojo the boarder collie) on our way to the river. We then launched kayaks and had an easy paddle around Blackwood river, only passing 1 other kayak on the way it felt so secluded and special. Mojo loves the water and actually jumped on our kayak and let us paddle him around! After kayaking we had a swim in the river while our guide Paul prepared us lunch. Then, we were off to do a (very generous) wine tasting. I texted a few days before as we are both vegan and Paul was very accommodating to dietaries and went out of his way to make sure we had lots to eat and that the wine tasting would be with vegan wines. It was only $170pp and included hotel pick-up/drop off, snacks, water, lunch, activities and the wine tasting. Such good value for what we saw! If anyone is coming to Margaret River I would highly recommend contacting Paul (0458191469)

Myself and my partner had a great day out with Paul and the other members of the group, of which there were 5. The activities were pitched at just the right level, not too difficult, not too easy. The mountain biking went through some great trails and having a little experience was helpful. Kayaking on the Blackwood was very peaceful and nicer than the Margaret River. The picnic lunch was excellent and just what was required after an active morning. Everyone likes a trip to a winery and we stopped at one of the best around. It was all organised and they were expecting us, which gave us a very personalised, detailed tasting.
Paul makes the tour and it is his enthusiasm and personal touch which really makes this such an enjoyable day.

Paul put together a 3-day tour that encompassed mountain-biking, canoeing, swimming at an amazingly perfect secluded beach, and two boutique wineries. The combination of activities was perfect for us. Paul's approach is warm and engaging and he provides just the right amount of historical perspective without overloading. Nothing was too much trouble for him. A wonderful guide. And his dog Mojo joining us on canoes was an added bonus! Would highly recommend, particularly for a multi-day schedule.

Paul put togther a fantastic 3 day programme for our group of seven, including mountain bike riding, kayaking, wine tasting visiting the local beaches. He had a great rapport and was only to happy to accommodate our needs. Looking forward to doing it again.

We had an absolute blast on our tour - we enjoyed mountain biking, kayaking, a riverside picnic and finished up with a chocolate tasting! Communication was great and prompt and Paul was very patient with our group during the organisation phase, waiting on attendee confirmation and some last minute changes. We also appreciated the flexibility of the tour - we started an hour earlier so that we could finish an hour earlier and drive back to Perth afterwards, and also switched the wine tasting to a chocolate tasting. Some of our group felt unsure about getting on a bike and Paul was very patient and suggested a little test ride on the track before we set off on our mountain biking adventure - there was absolutely no pressure for anyone to do anything they weren't comfortable with! We had a fabulous day and can't wait to go back for another adventure! Thank you Paul!

Had a fantastic day on a girls weekend away with surf and dirt adventure tours. Paul was a fantastic host and even though I had not been on a bike in 30 years I had so much fun mountain biking through the beautiful bushland of Margaret River before kyacking on the Blackwood River. Every level of fitness was catered for.
The picnic lunch and wine tasting were delicious and Mojo the dog was gorgeous.
As a Perth local I would highly recommend doing something "different" when exploring your own backyard by joining a surf and dirt adventure tour on your next South West escape

Our day with Paul from Surf n’ Dirt Tours was truly outstanding. Paul's knowledge of the Margaret River region added to the experience as he shared many intriguing facts about the area throughout the day. Paul had a great knack for engaging the kids, making the activities including kayaking and mountain biking all the more fun. We had a great lunch at Berry Farm and concluded the day beautifully with a visit to Brown Hill Estate. We highly recommend Surf n Dirt Tours for a memorable family adventure in Margaret River. The operator Paul was wonderful, as was the other people on the tour. Paul was very accommodating as I was injured at the time. The whole day was perfect and would very highly recommend even if your worried about your fitness, the bike trails are pretty smooth and easy. Lunch was delicious. Thank you Paul

My partner and I did this tour as an anniversary celebration and it was an amazing day out.
Paul (the guide) was a great guy, very knowledgeable on the culture and history and extremely well prepared. Big thank you to Surf N' Dirt Adventure Tours and couldn't recommend it more if you are visiting the Margret River region and looking for a great day of activities and a lovely couple hours of indulgence afterwards!

We had an excellent day of adventure in Margaret River with Paul. There were just 3 of us as a family so a nice intimate set up and Paul was able to set the pace appropriately for us. We biked through the woodijup national park and followed this with a kayak trip down the Blackwood River. Paul brought his dog Mojo along for The kayak section and that was great fun for us. We had a lovely lunch at Berry Farm and then went on to a local wine tasting. Paul is very passionate about his work in the region and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him for a great day out.

Hi, is it possible to do this tour with kids? We have a 10 and a 12 year old. Both good at cycling.

I would check with the guy who runs the tour as I think he has only adult mountain bikes. But then I suppose it depends how tall your kids are...! Apart from that, I am sure they would be OK with the cycling as the organiser can adjust how difficult the routes are. If they can paddle a kayak (presumably with an adult in each kayak) then that should not be a problem. Paul, who runs this tour, is very friendly and approachable.
