Sean offered a very personal service, full of local knowledge, it was the finer things that made our day, smaller group, air con car, water, sunscreen, fly repellent which may I add was organic.

The Best Multifaceted Tour You’ve Ever Experienced
You will not be disappointed with this tour. If you are tired of the mindlessly cobbled together tours with loads of people, then this is the tour for you. It is a tour that has been thoughtfully brought together to provide you with an exclusive experience which few locals have had. New, different, and refreshing.

Margaret River is more than just vineyard tours
An amazing experience - the whole day! It was perfect weather- blue sky and Goldilocks weather. The canoeing was just incredible. Safe and also gave you a feeling of accomplishment as well. Love the peacefulness of the whole experience and so enjoyed seeing yellow tailed cockatoos and musk ducks. We visited Fraser Gallop winery for a tour and a scrumptious‘smorgasbord’ of local products for lunch. To end the tour we explored an isolated part of the rugged coastline to hopefully spot whales. Did see dolphins. The scenery was wonderful. There was lots more! Sean was a wonderful host. Incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Enjoyed every second of this tour - the right mix of activity and information. Loved the canoeing, scenery and gourmet lunch in the barrel room of a winery. Sean even sent us expert photos to remember the day. Great value tour with only 6 of us.

Best Way to Experience the Region
The variety of activities and locations visited in these tours along with the small group size and incredible knowledge from tour guide Sean make this tour by far the best way to experience all the region has to offer. Would do it again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the region.

    Amazing small group experience
Even though the weather was against us Sean, as promised, kept us dry. The canoeing was fun for my wife and I even at 70 years of age. Lunch, tastings and special access to the winery was delightful as was the company of our fellow guests and, of course, Sean who made the whole day special. Thanks for an awesome day.

    What more could you want?
It was not an early start (this is good). We walked a beautiful coast line (not long), paddled canoes on a quiet river (no prior experience required) and lunched at a winery. Sean is an enthusiastic and fun guide. Transport very comfortable. The day was very enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Sean clearly loves what he does and this comes across in bundles from the off. The canoeing was great in such a lovely peaceful spot on the river. The drive cool and comfortable. The lunch top notch and the wine tasting good and informative. Coupled with the breathtaking magnificent scenery on the easy ramble to cape. A great day and well worth the money. J & R

Booked a Margaret River Discovery tour at the last minute, as luckily there had been a cancellation. The booking process was easy, and the tour operator (Sean) was very helpful when making the arrangements. The meeting place was the Margaret River Visitor Centre, where we were booked to depart at 10.15am.
Our tour was a party of six people plus Sean, we started the day with a canoe trip on the Margaret River. This was so peaceful and amazing, not strenuous at all, and true to his word Sean made sure none of us got wet or fell in! We then headed to the coast for a coffee, and took in some wonderful beach views.
From there we made our way to a beautiful waterfall where indigenous people once hunted for marron and eel. Sean provided us with a tasting of the local honey varieties, while he talked about some of the history of the region. Sean then drove us to the Fraser Gallop winery, where we were able to see where and how the wine was made. Thanks to Michelle from Fraser Gallop, she was very informative about the whole process, and answered all of our questions. We then had a very good quality lunch inside the barrel room, accompanied by a tasting of some of Fraser Gallop's best. All dietary requirements were catered for, there were lots of choices, and the wines were some of the best Margaret River had to offer.
The final part of the tour included a relaxing walk to Wilyabrup cliffs, where we were able to spot whales off in the distance on their way south. We were then driven back to the Margaret River Visitor Centre to finish up our tour.
I can't recommend this tour highly enough...I am not the sort of person to normally take tours, but this one gave me access to places I could never normally go. Sort of like a backstage pass to Margaret River! Sean was a fantastic guide, friendly and helpful, and with so much knowledge of the region and the people who live there.

4WD beats a 30-seater bus any day!
Sean is a world class guide with deep roots to the Margaret River area, which he brings out throughout the day and in onward travel recommendations.
The winery visited was premier and offered more information on MR wines and let you get closer to the winemaking than a full day of cellar door touring with a larger operator.
I'll always remember the fun and tranquility of the canoeing and unbeatable cliff and ocean views. The intimate group setting allowed to really build a shared experience with the other tour goers.
After six weeks in Aus and NZ, this is one of the highlights... A must-do if in WA!

Sean put together a perfect day starting with a glide along the Margaret River in our canoes, then off to a stunning view of the beach and waves rolling in at Surfer’s Point. Our timing was right to see some local fishermen splitting their catch of lobster. We enjoyed our stop at the waterfall setting to learn about 30,000+ years of humans inhabiting the area due to a year-round availability of fresh water. A quick stop to see a kangaroo mob on the route. The winery tour was first rate due to Sean’s exclusive access for lunch time tasting. Cap it all off with a return to the coast for a short hike on the trail and more views of the stunning coastline. Time flies when you’re having fun - nice work Sean!

What a fantastic trip. This was certainly something special with a full day packing in lots of varied activity including; canoeing on the Margaret River, meeting a Blue Tongue Lizard, watching the Marron Fishing at a 30,000 year old creek, meeting another lizard, honey tasting, wine tasting (Fraser Gallop 👌), lovely lunch, 4x4 driving, cliff top walk and great company with an intimate group. All done in the luxury of a comfortable Land Rover Discovery whilst getting an in-depth explanation about the history, nature and culture of the region. Sean is clearly passionate in what he does and this shines through in abundance.
Well done Sean, keep it up and I will see you next year when I visit again.
First class, great value and highly recommended!

We really are the people who don’t do tours so it was with some trepidation that we faced a full day in the company of a complete (albeit highly TA recommended) stranger. My husband and I are Margaret River veterans but this trip we had our daughter and son-in-law with us so we thought it best to introduce them to the region with an expert tour. After a bit of homework we settled on Sean and it was just the best decision.
Our day started with canoeing on the Margaret River (well in my case sitting doing nothing while Sean did the work) which made an idyllic start to a fabulous day. I don’t want to give you a blow by blow account of our tour as I’m sure it will vary to take account of people’s abilities and preferences and the weather but suffice to say there was a bit of everything, the day flew by in a whirl of sunshine, lovely food, delicious wine and loads of laughter.
Most importantly we got a great high level overview of the region which added massively to our understanding and to the enjoyment of the rest of our stay.
We booked several months in advance and to avoid disappointment I recommend you get in touch sooner rather than later. Apologies for the delay in posting.

How bloody good. We had the best time showing our friends from overseas the beauty of the Margaret River region and surrounds during Sean's tour.

Sean is the ultimate tour guide and what he offers with his tour is unlike anything I've experienced. It's personal, it's fun, it's educational, it's exciting and best of all it just felt like we spent a fantastic day out with one of our mates.

The day started off with a bang with a luxe kayak ride down a beautiful part of Margaret River. Don't be scared off by the thought, it was super easy and comfortable. A quick coffee stop overlooking a stunning beach kept quiet from the tourists, then onto an immersive spiritual experience which allowed us to connect with the land and the life of Aboriginal people from thousands of years earlier. An intimate winery and wine tasting experience came next (nothing like your standard coach tour) as well as a delicious lunch which was all from local produce. Last up we experienced some unforgettable scenery whilst standing on the edge of the country, facing out toward the Indian Ocean. Getting there was the fun part, with some 4WD-ing down to a beautiful part of the Cape to Cape walking trail.

Plenty of laughs, stories and amazing experiences shared. Definitely one for the books.

Well done on this incredible tour, Sean!

A super enjoyable and varied way to explore and learn about the area. I feel like we fit so many different experiences into one day, but at a relaxed pace.

Canoeing to start the day was so peaceful and a really nice way to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the river. Local honey tasting at another part of the river while listening to the water tumble over the rocks was a special experience. Lunch and wine tasting was nothing short of decadent, and rounding the day out with a walk along the cliffs, while taking the time to soak in those stunning views, really brings home how lucky we are to be able to have these type of experiences, so close to home.

Every part of the day was a very pleasant surprise, and Sean was a warm, welcoming and endearing host. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone who visits the area, whether they are familiar with Margaret River or not.

The Margaret River Discovery Tour was excellent, our host Sean kept us informed and engaged all day and shared local knowledge. I loved the serenity of the canoe trip on the river, the lunch of local produce and wine tasting at Fraser Gallop and the 4WD/ Cape to Cape experience- views were amazing and we were lucky enough to see dolphins.
Having done other wine trips in Margaret River, I was looking for something more than being herded on/off a minibus all day and this trip delivered. Yes, it may be a bit dearer than some other tours, but you get to see the real Margaret River in peace- apart from a couple of people at the winery and a couple walking their dog by the river, we literally saw no one else the whole time.
If you’re thinking about a tour in Margaret River, do yourself a favour and book this one- you won’t be disappointed!

On 30/1/20, Sean took 5 ladies, of varying age and abilities on the Discovery Tour (3 Brits and 2 Canadians) and it was THE most fantastic day!! We canoed, saw bird and wildlife, learnt about the Bush land and wine growing. We met the lovely gentleman, Peter at Fraser Gallop, who gave us a fascinating insight into their wines - we tasted several, all delicious and had a fabulous lunch. During the day, we saw amazing scenery, we talked, we laughed and we all agreed it was the best trip we'd taken, thanks to Sean and his 6 seater comfortable A/C 4WD which handled the off-road drive up to the cliffs with ease! If you want a great day out, with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, then this is the tour to do, I'm sure you will love it too!!

Warmth shown by Sean came through at the start. His subtle attention to detail and care made this day wonderful. The best day tour we have taken, and we are not young and have done many worldwide.
A tranquil canoe trip on Margaret River, then to the beauty of Prevelly Beach, off then to sense the calmness of a place special to our indigenous people,a privilege.
A tasty lunch amongst the casks at beautiful Fraser Gallop winery, was followed by being taken to sit on the cliffs, looking at the Indian Ocean crash onto the beaches in the distance.
We travelled in a comfortable 4wd and it has a maximum of 6 people making for a more intimate experience. We will definitely recommend and do this trip again.
Sean’s knowledge of the area has come from living their for many years, and his love of his home is so evident.
