We visited an historic church and a craft centre and a visit to the Harvey Cheese Factory before heading off to lunch and a visit to Wellington Dam and finishing off with some wine tasting. - TANYA H0 contributionsBunbury Christmas lightsWe recently went on a trip threw Bunbury Geographe Tours. We did the Bunbury Christmas light tour. It was a fantastic trip, Tanja was very Accomadating. We had a group of small children on board and we even manage to get out and stretch our legs to look at some of the lights. Pick up was easy to find. Comfortable seats with plenty of room and air conditioning as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would be looking forward to other trips threw 2020. Highly recommend them for any trip you have in mind.Written 12 January 2020
- 140dianab0 contributionsExcellent tour of the Bunbury Georgraphe areaFrom the moment our tour guide arrived at our hotel and introduced hreself, we found Tania to be a ver friendly person ensuring we were comfortable and ready for the tour. Tania was extremely knowledgable with the scheduled visits to various places made it really interesting, which was followed by equally entertaining times on the road trips in small bursts moving to each desitination giving you a chance to relax and enjoy the surroundings with her brilliant commentary. Thoroughly enjoyed learning of the history of the Bunbury Geographe area which we had never learnt about in detail on previous trips to Bunbury. Tanya was very fexible and the scheduled attractions visited offerred easy and challenging walks making it suitble for everyone. Fabulous lunch, food and wine tastings along the way also. Best small bus tour we have ever been on. Definitely recommend taking this tour.Written 11 January 2020

Bunbury is a fantastic town between Busselton and Mandurah, it is by far my favourite destination now. It has a remarkable top restaurant called Market Eating House that we found by luck, with a divine fish and an extraordinary 2018 Chardonnay from Tasliman winery. The best things come by surprise and Bunbury is one of them, any corner that you explore reminds you of a village with everything you need, plus you have the most southern collection of mangroves nesting this town on one side and the ocean on the other. Visit the Dolphin Discovery Centre, with a good coffee shop and to have an intimate experience with dolphins ( which we missed, unfortunately). Bunbury has a good vibe, and good coffee shops too (The Happy Wife has a fantastic view and the Turkish eggs are very tasty, good service too) plus the Townhouse ( good coffee and excellent service). The views from Saint Patrick's Cathedral ( 1919) are fantastic. You could also venture for a quick workout by climbing on the steps to Boulters Heights lookout. Really beautiful views. Then go to the local wineries at Ferguson Valley, I would recommend Tasliman wines, Green Door Wines and Ferguson Falls, these are family-owned wineries, in which ambience you feel the bond between food and frienship surrounded by a stunning setting to go with it.
