A Breathtaking Adventure: My Hot Air Balloon Experience
Floating high above the world in a hot air balloon is an experience like no other. As the balloon gently lifted off the ground, a wave of excitement and tranquility washed over me. The early morning sky was painted in hues of pink, orange, and gold, as the rising sun cast a warm glow over the landscape.
Drifting effortlessly above rolling hills, winding rivers, and endless fields, I felt a sense of peace and freedom that’s hard to describe. Below, tiny villages and distant mountains created a postcard-perfect scene, while the cool breeze whispered past, adding to the magic of the moment.
The silence was only broken by the occasional burst of the burner, a gentle reminder that we were floating among the clouds. Watching the world wake up from such a unique perspective was nothing short of mesmerizing. As the journey came to an end and we descended gracefully back to earth, I knew this was a memory I would cherish forever.

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Staff were very helpful and made everyone feel totally relaxed.
We had perfect weather , and flying over geelong you got to see our city though different eyes, how beautiful.
It pays to check out the weather at the time of booking to make sure you have the best chance of good weather, we did that and it was perfect with the most stunning sunrise. Thankyou Liberty Balloons we highly recommend you, dont just think about it , do it, tick it off your bucket list .

The sunrise! After two abortive attempts - one ruined at short notice by a snap lockdown and the other by rain - we drifted gracefully aloft last Saturday morning and sailed high above Queen's Park and Highton before drifting towards the city and the bay. As we did so, we had, literally, a bird's eye view of a stunning sunrise shimmering over Corio Bay on a morning to die for. It was also very cool scooting low over East Geelong and Newcomb, watching people gasp in amazement and grabbing for their cameras whilst we were close enough to wave and say, "Good morning".

Hot air balloon “Liberty” promises an unforgettable experience, for those willing to splurge, the luxury and romance it offers could outweigh the financial investment, making it a once-in-a-lifetime indulgence worth considering. However, its steep price tag may deter some potential adventurers. At a premium cost, it may not be accessible to all couples, limiting its appeal to those with a larger budget.

The flight we took this week was great. We felt safe and well informed throughout the flight. Marty, although new, was very friendly and approachable. Dean was highly knowledgeable and piloted our balloon like a champion. Great views of Geelong and a calm, well controlled take off and landing. A wonderful morning.
Our hot air balloon experience was a long time coming. We’d tried to fly overseas years ago but the weather did not permit a safe flight. My fiancé booked back in October 2020 but the weather again stood in our way, fair enough - safety first of course. About a month ago we rescheduled our flight and received a confirmation email. We arrived very excited and keen to fly at 4.45am at the meeting place only to find we hadn’t been added to the list and there was no room for us in the basket. We were very disappointed. The lady barely apologised and advised me to contact her the following week, no compensation she just turned us away.

Dean and Nick were the pilots on our Flight. They were fantastic, explaining their processes and allowing us to be involved with the inflation and packing up of the Balloon.
They calmed my nerves of heights and surprisingly, I wasn’t afraid up in the sky. The journey was calm, peaceful and didn’t feel like we were free falling at all, just gliding along.
We passed over fields of crops, cattle and sheep who chased after us. We even saw a paraglider, who circled us to say hi.
The views of Geelong bay were spectacular and we could see Melbourne city in the distance.
The journey commenced with celebratory champagne and stories of the world first Balloon Flights.
I would highly recommend this flight to anyone, any age, even those with a fear of heights like me!
Thank you so much for a memorable flight, I’ll be booking again soon! :)

The views above the clouds were absolutely spectacular! The sunrise was stunning and a great surprise. Dan was a great tour guide, he cracks jokes and puts people at ease. Overall a fantastic, memorable experience that I’d highly recommend (even if you’re a bit scared of heights :))

What an experience! I was a little nervous but excited at the same time. The crew were so amazing, putting everyone at ease as they explained every detail of what we were about to experience. As we went up all my apprehension disappeared and we floated on the breeze in the silence of early morning. We had the best time, with clear skies and the most amazing sunrise. Thank you to all, we will be back to do it again.

This was my 3rd ballooning experience so I knew what to expect and was not disappointed by Liberty Balloon Flights.
Our crew were professional, fun and fabulous and when the fog started to come in Dean our pilot navigated us through it perfectly.
We had a wonderful flight over Geelong's pastoral region where the views were beautiful and very interesting.

We had the most amazing experience with Dan, the pilot, and Rob, the chaser. They were both very friendly and welcoming from the start and extremely informative throughout the whole experience! I can’t believe how safe we felt and would highly recommend the trip…..it was truely incredible with breathtaking views the whole way! Thank you liberty balloons
