Great tour but poor seats in back of coach
The Great Ocean Road and all the sights we saw were amazing. Our guide/driver was also very good. He gave us great information and we saw all the stops plus a few extras with kangaroos and koalas in the wild. I have only one critique of this tour. The coach picked us up at a stop that was the last stop so the coach was just about full. The only 2 spots together for my husband and I were in the very back of the coach. That would have been ok except that the seats were set lower than all the rest and the seat backs were all much higher in front of us. So basically, all we could see while driving along the beautiful scenery of the Great Ocean Road, was the blue seat back in front of us. In addition, all instructions given to us by the guide were assuming we could see him (ie, go this direction on this path which was him pointing but we couldn’t see him so had no idea what to do). This was not the fault of the guide/driver. The coach your company uses for tours should have all seats exactly the same since I paid the same everyone else did but felt ripped off for having a blocked view. Even at concerts and cruises you pay less for tickets/rooms with an obstructed view. I reserved my ticket far ahead of time and paid full price so I feel everyone on the tour should be able to see more than the seat back in front of us. Maybe it would be appropriate to not sell those seats in the back with obstructed view or get a better coach with equal level views for everyone. The coach rode very rough as well and the bumpiness was evident to everyone, especially in the back. Thank you for the nice sights seen but please get a better vehicle or do not fill the coach with those back seats.

Beautiful sights, experienced and caring guide!
The Great Ocean Road is definitely something anyone travelling in the area needs to do! There are many stops to make, each more beautiful than the next, and this is great for people like myself: solo travellers who do not want feel comfortable driving there by themselves. But the reason I am writing this review is that I was so impressed by our tour guide, Kelly, who really showed her passion and knowledge for this place! From the very beginning, she had interesting stories and history to tell. She also had so much knowledge about the wildlife, she spotted many koalas for us, knew exactly where to go, and told us all kinds of facts about the local fauna! On top of this, she was so caring and accommodating to us guests! Truly an exceptional tour guide -- not just a driver taking us from point A to point B, but someone who cared that we all had the best possible day out. Thank you Kelly for making an amazing tour even more fun and memorable!!

A good tour to do if you arent able to drive it yourself
A couple of things to highlight if you are considering making a booking - As per their website; Pick up and return from your city hotel - Pick up is ONLY from a location close too Southern Cross Railway station. Our hotel in the CBD was a 25 minute brisk walk away and no other option was made available too us. The entire bus of 24 passengers were picked up from the one location, with a pick up time of 650am. The bus was 40min late leaving due to other passengers not arriving at the bus ontime. This may have been prevented if other pick up locations were available. As per their website; A return stop off at Colac where you can purchase some dinner - We drove straight through Colac and only stopped once on the return trip for a toilet break. We didnt get back into Melbourne CBD til after 830pm with the drop off location being at the southern Cross railway station. Apart from these "highlighted" points it was an enjoyable tour. The scenery was lovely along the great ocean road and seeing 12 koalas in "the wild" was fantastic. The "provided' morning tea was an anzac biscuit and a juice box. It would have been nice to have had a cup of tea or coffee.

        Great trip with wonderful views.
Fantastic day trip with amazing sights along the way. Our driver Ravi and tour guide Warren made the perfect team. Warren was full of great information given to us in a very funny and charming way. He kept us very well up to date on what lay ahead for the day. I would highly recommend this day trip. However, be mindful of the changeable weather. It was 37 degrees in Melbourne the day before our trip and 17 degrees, overcast and windy for the entire duration of our trip. Check your weather app!

        Fantastic day out.
Our guide Warren was very informative and brought a great energy to the group. He was also a very safe driver. The tour of the great ocean road was absolutely beautiful. Our bus was very clean and it’s about a 30 seater size bus which made the group feel more personal. I couldn’t recommend this tour strongly enough. It was fantastic.

Tour operator did not pick up at hotel, despite booking. Viator was zero help.
Tour guide, Raphi, was great, as were the sites, but the tour operator, despite the contract, did not pick us up at our hotel and was curt and rude. Viator was zero help, although we booked on their site.

        Mesmerising
Enjoyed this tour a lot! Rocky, our tour guide and driver was very knowledgeable and told us a lot of interesting things and stories during the tour. He was also a lot of fun to chat to! We stopped at various stops with mesmerising views and even got to see a koala in its natural habitat. I totally recommend this tour to anyone!

        Awesome day tour 👍🏼
Warren was an amazing tour guide for this day tour. Friendly, attentive, informative. His #1 priority was to ensure we all had an amazing day and our safety. We did the tour in reverse to beat the crowds and it worked out great! Amazing views and stops. Also saw some kangaroos and koalas in the wild! The only thing is you can no longer go down to the actual gorge anymore/beach as the steps are closed off due to cliff movement. Would definitely recommend this day tour especially if you're short on time. No complaints!

Overall not worth the money, do the tour yourself.
Do the drive yourself, tour guides info came from signs already posted at each stop and the buses are awful. You spend minimal time at each location and some of the stops are random stops pulled off to the side of the road. Seemed a little gimmicky but the guide himself was nice. You spend your entire day on a bus and spend around 15 minutes at each stop. This is a tour that easily could be done with a rental car and I think that would have been a lot more enjoyable with how much driving is involved. We were hoping that with a guide you would learn more history or cool facts but all his info was just pulled from the signs posted at each stop. Some cool spots but I think it would be worth it to have your own vehicle so that you can stop for longer periods of time and enjoy the stops.

        Not a great Experience
This was a full day with long bus ride from Melbourne. Puffing Billy is a real waste of time unless you are taking small children. The Healesville Sanctuary has a nice assortment of Australian Animals and we were able to do the entire park and have lunch in two hours which left an hour to kill. Not a good use of a vacation day for us.

        Soak up the Coast
Second day of our Melbourne adventure and I'd planned to see the Great Ocean Road. Let me say first that the young man that led us through the day had a difficult experience, the vehicle had engine problems which started early but he continued on and try to make sure nothing ruined our day out, wonderful. The tour was along the Ocean Road and we visited Torquay and Anglesea, the Memorial Archway on the road to the builders of it, we stopped a few times looking for and finding Koalas and searched for Kangaroo's, we stopped at a wonderful place called Apollo where there was a range of eaters for all tastes, we stopped at the rainforest for a walk and then visited the Twelve Apostles and then Loch Ard Gorge which for me was definitely the highlight. A long journey but skilfully managed by our guide, it's a lot to get in in one day but well worth while donating your time to siting back and enjoying the views and the ride.

Comfy family zoo? It was unexpected but awesome for kids. Bring winter coat for the parade, you will never regret.
Good guide 👏 . He is so kind and acceptable of some of an unmodeling behaviors from customer's perspective. Thank you for your generosity.

Great day out for all the family.Loads to do and see for all ages.Love the way all the staff are in costume it really makes you feel like you have stepped back in time.
Underground tours are well worth doing.
Great value for money.Make sure you take water with you and a hat as it can get very hot walking around for hours.Get there early.
      Well worth a visit.
Felt sorry for the horses pulling the stage coach along they looked so hot and tired.

Awesome tour of Sovereign Hill and Eureka Museum today with the family! So much to see and also enjoyed stop at Ballarat Botanical Gardens and also our final destination at Eureka Skydeck. Our tour guide Matt has lived in Victoria his whole life and very knowledgeable. Matt was super relaxed and we could not of asked for a better tour guide! Definitely a must do tour if visiting Melbourne!
