About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Companion5222190 contributionsGreat day!Dirk our driver/guide was great and very informative. We enjoyed every part of the experiences that the tour offered. Wildlife sanctuary and the opportunity to see Koalas and hand feed Kangaroos was fun and the grand finale of seeing the penguins was truly a natural wonder.Written 15 February 2025
- Marion F0 contributionsAwesome tourDirk, our tour guide/driver was very good; engaging, informative and a good sense of humor. We saw all the things promised on the tour and felt well taken care of.Written 15 February 2025
- BonnieL15370 contributionsJust a fun day!!Puffing Billy was just a fun, somewhat nostalgic ride. The Healesville sanctuary is a gem and has such a worthwhile mission. The short time we had there went by quickly…I learned a lot and really enjoyed the animals. Thanks to Marty for being a great guide! The travel and Melbourne area tips are appreciated and I loved driving through the hills…much more scenic than the freeways/motorways!!Written 15 February 2025
- 430yangp0 contributionsWonderful tripIt is a wonderful trip. The tourist guide (Mars) was excellent in leading the trip. Her communication skills are very efficient. Puffing Billy is the only train worldwide that can put legs outside the carriage, and it is so fun. Philip Island Penguin Parade was lovely, and it is interesting to see small penguins. Just to wear more clothes!Written 14 February 2025
- davesP3661SO0 contributionsDay tour in MelbournePuffing Billy is a good example of a steam train ride. Viewing the Penguins was a great experience. Our tour guide Nathan was very informativeWritten 14 February 2025
- 201caitlyng0 contributionsFun day outEverything was well planned and timed. The guide was clear , personable and funny but unfortunately I missed getting his name. Puffing billy was very fun and the guide took pics an videos for everyone. Don't worry about getting a spot sitting on the wall, they did well not to over crowd the box cars so everyone had a spot. I'd say try and get a spot on the left side of the train because the last half of the ride the view is the best on that side. But you'll be able to see everything from anywhere so don't panic. Once we got to Phillip Island area we first stopped at a lookout point over the ocean, it was gorgeous and we saw wallabys, 2 echidnas, and even some baby penguins. After that we got to the penguin parade point. The staff were amazing at protecting the penguins and making sure no one stood up or took photos to make sure everyone could see and also ensure the penguins weren't scared. I was a little underwhelmed by the amount of penguins. I was expecting many more and all at once but they kind of just trickle out of the water slowly and in packs or 5 to 15. Bring a jacket and some binoculars. Overall a very pleasant dayWritten 12 February 2025
- Jo L0 contributionsGreat day, well worth the $$$Myself and my parents, who are over here visiting me from the UK went on this tour. Lorraine was our host. She was very knowledgeable and was able to pack a lot in to the day. Amongst many of the highlights were the amount of koalas we were able to see and photograph in their own habitat. Something that most aussies, including myself don’t get the chance to do. The whole day was fantastic and I’d highly recommend this tour, especially with Lorraine. She went above and beyond.Written 11 February 2025
- Bamber_060 contributionsBrill ExperienceSuch a lovely day , although the weather wasn’t the best the view points and funny jokes from our tour guide Warren made up for it ! Defo recommend this tripWritten 11 February 2025
- laurir5330 contributionsGreat views, be prepared to go with the flow thoughViews were amazing and tour guide info was great. However the itinerary didn’t match what was on TripAdvisor and had pick up options that ended up not being accurate (majority of riders met at a central location, didn’t stop at all for dinner, morning tea provided was actually a juicebox).Written 10 February 2025
- R7126WIingridk0 contributionsGreat Ocean Road tourToday we went on a tour to the Great Ocean Road and it was amazing! Warren was our tourguide and he had a lot of knowledge, was super friendly, involved in the group and had a good sense of humor. If you have Warren as your tour guide, it promises to be a great day! We saw kangaroos and koalas (including a mom and baby koala) in the wild and all the activities where nice. The 12 Apostles where very beautifull. Thank you Warren!Written 10 February 2025

Awesome tour of Sovereign Hill and Eureka Museum today with the family! So much to see and also enjoyed stop at Ballarat Botanical Gardens and also our final destination at Eureka Skydeck. Our tour guide Matt has lived in Victoria his whole life and very knowledgeable. Matt was super relaxed and we could not of asked for a better tour guide! Definitely a must do tour if visiting Melbourne!

The company canceled the trip due to a lack of tickets sold. I was notified less than 24 hours therefore I was unable to get a refund.
