What an amazing day. Spent some time at four friendly wineries, sampling an extremely tasty selection of Tamar Valley wines. Lunch at The Duck was delicious. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. Will definitely do this again when I’m back this way. Great value for money - highly recommended!!

Thank you Gillian for a fantastic wine tour. We left all winery selections up to her as it was our first time in the area, and we were not disappointed! Lunch at The Ducks was delicious and the setting is beautiful. We will definitely book another private tour with Gillian and Terry when we return to the region.

Great day, Terry was easy going and informative, bit intimidated at first as an older couple with 5 young people/couples on the bus, but they were so nice, friendly and warm, and we had a wonderful afternoon tasting great wines.

A comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable tour with Terence and 8 fellow travellers (later, our best friends after the gin and wine tastings..!). Terry was a quietly thoughtful and knowledgeable guide and our day was a relaxing experience visiting the four vineyards and distillery. Our charcuterie lunch at Cabbage Tree Vineyard was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

I've joined several wine tasting tours all over the world, but this is the best of the best! Highly recommend! Tamar Valley is very unique and beautiful. Terry offered me a VVVIP tour, he is very knowledgeable and charming, showed me 4 lovely vineyards and a special Gin place, all of them are great. This is the must-do tour in Tasmania. Thanks Terry, you made my trip in Launceston complete;)

I've been on quite a few wine tours and this was one of the best. Kieran was easy going and amiable and the tour ran to time. The wineries that we visited were all quite different and took very little time to reach. Everyone on our tour found something they liked, whether it was the sparkling, a white or one of the many Pinots we tasted. The Meal at The Ducks was delicious and the staff were lovely. The stand out was Cabbage Tree Winery, the last on the trip. The Pinot Noir there was beautiful and the white were in the Marlborough style.

What a wonderful day out! Thanks to Gill for the tour, great locations, great host and great wines. Would recommend.

Visiting small and established wineries around the Tamar Valley with an informative guide Kieren to taste the local produce, wine, gin, beer and cider made for a great day out

An excellent tour. The driver, Iain, was friendly, professional, helpful and very knowledgeable of the local area and history. The vineyards were beautiful and the wine delicious. The restaurant for lunch, Duck, was an excellent choice. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

AN ABSOLUTE STANDOUT!! We were so lucky to have Terry as our tour guide – his knowledge of all things Tasmanian – history, dates, events and, of course, about the art and science of wine, was absolutely amazing!! My husband and I went to 4 wineries (all of which had the most beautiful wines) and a gin distillery (the best gin we have ever tasted!) and had an awesome meal at The Ducks restaurant!! The chef and owner of the Duck even picked a bunch of his Pino Noir grapes from the vine for us to try – they were surprisingly small, dark and sweet – yum! We were also incredibly lucky that the wine maker and owner of one of the vineyards invited us to see the de-stemming process and took us into the fermentation room – how amazing was that!! This was a wonderful day filled with an amazing amount of learning – about history, about wine making, about high-quality Tasmanian wine, gin, distilling processes, barrel making, food and just simply – lots of fun!! We cannot recommend this tour highly enough – your Tasmania visit will not be complete without it!! A special thank you to Linda at our first winery – you really helped us understand the process of vintage and non-vintage wine, and also to Jules at our last winery (Cabbage Tree Hill Winery) – wish we could party with you one day – your hospitality and personality is equally as impressive as your very, very high quality wines!! We had a blast during our Tamar Valley Wine Tour. The group was awesome, the tour was very informative, the lunch was delicious and last but not least, plenty of excellent wines!

We were in Tasmania and on the way back to Devenport we did the Tamar Valley wine tour. The tour operator was onetime. We were picked up from where we were staying. Despite only 2 of us the tour went ahead. We sample various cool climate sparkling to Pinot Noir, Gin and cheeses. It was value for money and such obliging tour operator. It was a memorable moment. Recommending tho those who loves Tasmanian wine including Sparkling methode Tasmanoise. As we can not call Champanoise.

Great day out and highly recommend this tour. We were a family of 6 aged between 18-50, lunch ticketed all boxes and thoroughly enjoyed the wineries we went too. Kieran is a legend and so knowledgeable on everything Launceston.
