$270 for NOTHING. My partner and two friends on holiday in October in Launceston booked a bus trip to the Lavender Farm. NO mention in the brochure that it only blooms in December and January. Complete waste of money and two hours.

Eamonn was a delight. He was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. He took us to some amazing wineries and we met our sprit animal at the gin joint! we met some great hosts at the vineyards who knew their wine. Bonus was that out purchases can be posted back to Melbourne and we continue enjoying our Tasmanian wines.

We had the best day out with David from Prestige Tours Tasmania visiting vineyards, a still house and a brewery. It was fascinating to hear from the very passionate makers who adore the region and all it has to offer. Lunch was at Loira Vineyard & it is honestly the best ever platter you will ever have in your lifetime. Thank you David & the team at Prestige Tours, our group intends on making it an annual event from now on.

Lots of fun. David gave good information on the areas we visited. Stopped along the way for some picturesque views. Wineries were beautiful. Highly recommend

David was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of wine and wine making. I learned new things on this tour and enjoyed listening to his stories. He was also very accommodating of my dietary needs and the fact that I travel solo. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing dave was the perfect host and the small wineries we went to were worth it cannot recommend him enough and will definitely be doing another tour in future he was very knowledgeable about the area and the selected wineries.

This was an amazing experience for wine (and cheese) lovers. We felt fully emersed in the Tassie wine culture and loved every minute of it. Our guide was extremely well informed and we would definitely be recommending this to anyone who is travelling to or through Launceston!

We enjoyed the day but felt this tour was expensive for what we got. No morning tea and a platter to share for lunch. A small biscuit or cheese with the morning tastings would have been appreciated. Compared to a similar wine tour on Tasmania’s East Coast last summer for $50 less which included morning tea, a seafood and pizza lunch with a complimentary wine or bubbly.

The tour guide, David was such a pleasant person, knowledgeable and love the way he dress up. David brought us to three vineyards and definitely worth the tour, end up bought 7 bottles. Eventhough the tour was during winter, June, all of us love it.

David provided us a wonderful small group experience. And are so pleased we had the chance to experience the hospitality of the Tamar Valley’s boutique wineries. With Loira Vines and Swinging Door being exceptional! We look forward to returning sometime in the future.

There was just the two of us on the full day tour but David didn’t skip anything. He was knowledgeable and interesting. The five wineries were all slightly different, had wonderful people serving us and all had amazing wines. Lunch was delicious and served overlooking the vines - perfect!

Absolutely loved it, Carol our driver was so fun and friendly and all the wineries we stopped at were Amazing and they really made us feel welcome and the passion they have for their wine shines through. Can’t wait for all the wine to arrive back at home now

We were staying in the Tamar valley and they came and picked us up from accom and took us back to Launceston where it starts. David was super friendly and informative and helpful with organising wines to be shipped. We visited 5 wineries that were fabulous and the tour was nice and intimate (not too many people). It was a jam packed full day that is definitely worth it. We also did some tourist attraction stops along the way. Would do again.

We recently went on the full-day Tamar Valley wine tour with Prestige Tours and our guide, David Coopers, and it was a fantastic experience. He is professional, personable, and truly passionate about showcasing the best of Tasmania's wine.
