We booked for this beforehand. Picked up at our Hotel Grand Chancellor, and the commentary began once all were on board. Rarely have I been more impressed with so much detailed and interesting information about the entire program. Everywhere we travelled, over the whole journey, while driving or on foot, walking through Ancient Forests, Rarely have I learnt so much in one day. Great variety of countryside, wonderful scenery and weather. It was marvellous. Driver Ben had extensive knowledge of everywhere we went and was passionate about Northern Tasmania. An inspiration. Thank you.

We weren’t part of this tour group but walked into the day hut where Paul had his tour group stopped for a coffee break. Paul was warm and inviting and passed on knowledge to us while we took a break from the cold /wet weather that was passing through. 10/10 would recommend this tour company and if we come back to Cradle would take a tour with them.

We had a great time at cradle mountain with this group. It was an amazing time. We not only heard about the wildlife but about the history. The views at the mountain were wonderful.

The night time animal spotting was terrific. These things are always dependent on animals cooperating but this time we would have had a good time with Jayden even if the animals didn’t turn up. He had the knack though and animals turned up for him and us. Great night

Belinda was a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge about the national park and its wildlife. We saw pademelons, Bennett's wallabies (many with joeys), brushtail possums, wombats, and were extremely lucky to also see both a spotted-tail quoll crossing the road and an eastern quoll foraging at the Ronny Creek boardwalk. Would recommend this tour to anyone, even without the quolls!

The highlight of our trip was our guide Cathy. Her knowledge and passion for the environment was second to none. We were very fortunate to be the only passengers that morning , so it was like a private tour. We are not hikers so I would highly recommend this tour to give you an excellent overview of the area. The weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky . An unforgettable experience at Cradle Mountain.

We had the distinct pleasure of visiting Dove Lake & Cradle Mountain with McDermotts Coaches, although just the wife and myself, the expert tour guide Mel picked us up in her minibus at Peppers Lodge on time and we spent the next two hours being enthralled by not only her broad historical & ecological knowledge of this pristine area but fascinating insights into how the early settlers and pioneers survived in this world heritage site

We booked the night spotlight tour and it was fantastic .. we saw so many animals in there natural environment and we learnt so much from our tour guide .. Highly recommend the night spot light tour

Our guide gave us a good commentary on the area. We had a walk to Dove lake and the a look at Waldheims chalet which was quite interesting plus a short walk behind the chalet. Our guide was happy to answer questions and was very helpful.

Definitely a highlight of my trip to Cradle Mountain, highly recommend. Andy was very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. We saw many different animals on the tour both from the coach and walking along the boardwalks inside the park.

What an excellent way to start your visit to Cradle Mountain.Our guided tour with James was full of local knowledge about the area,history and its origin.A couple of short walks included to Glacier Rock at Dove Lake and Waldheim Chalet and lots of advice about other walks/hikes Highly recommended

We saw such a range of wildlife, including wombats. Andy is a lively local with a good understanding of the area. She handled the mountain road with confidence with a running commentary all the way. We all had a chance to carry the torch with a walk along the boardwalk at the end. So much fun!

This is a must do at Cradle Mountain. Andy our tour guide was fantastic - the coach picked us up at our camp ground, and within 100m down the road we were spotting wildlife. Over 30 wombats, two quolls, possums, wallabies, pademelons, bush chickens..... and then a shooting star at Ronny Creek as we got back on the bus. Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable and made the trip for us.

We only had a limited amount of time in Cradle Mountain, so decided to book the McDermott's Explorer Guided Tour. This was a great way to see the park. Our tour guide James was friendly and knowledgeable. He presented the facts and showed us around in a great way and was very happy to answer questions and go beyond. All in all, a most enjoyable tour

Excellent insights into the park and native animals. Saw a tassie devil in the wild to cap it off - would recommend to anyone coming to cradle mountain
