          A very nice day out
A very enjoyable trip, in a small group. A minivan ride from Launceston to Cradle Mountain, and then a choice of hikes. The walks were a little challenging in places, but manageable for most people of reasonable fitness. It was nice to meet people in a small group, and it was a very enjoyable day.

Not designed for people over 55yo or those with restricted mobility.
Wasn't happy with the tour, couldn't manage the walk to the lookout. Thought the National Park was poorly maintained and the walking track up to the lookout was very unsafe, with no railings. We ended up turning back halfway up due to this & then had to wait some time for everyone to return. The stop at Honeymoon Bay toveat lunch was shabby, limited seating. Wouldn't recommend this tour. Tour bus was also a little shabby & in need of some repair

Hobart has a lot of experiences to have a whole day tour is well worth your time as you get to know about the history and see so
The trip was excellent and our driver was really informed and caring . The boat trip at Port Arthur was good and learned about Port Arthur's history by the driver and on site

A good idea if you are staying in Hobart
Had a really good day the Tahune Airwalk was a beautiful walk it’s a good hike if you have nice weather and the cave at Hastings is a really good experience as well unfortunately for my particular tour the thermal springs was closed but overall really good day I highly recommend if you are staying in Hobart.

Great scenery, but local produce was dearly missed!
We hiked through incredible scenery, with knowledgeable information from our tour guide, Nick. However, after that, we were really disappointed to find out that going to Freycinet Marine Farm to sample local seafood, and going to Kate's Berry Farm had both been dropped and instead we were taken to an expensive wine tasting venue.

Fun, active day out in nature!
This was such a fun day! Our tour guide Nick was amazing, knowledgeable and you could tell he loves what he does! We felt safe and taken care of the entire day and learnt so much about Tasmania’s history as well as the native flora and wild life. Well worth the money and was a terrific experience!

          Nice hike for nice view
It is quite tiring for someone who does not hike a lot, however the view is worth the hike for sure. The tour guide was knowledgeable, loved all the local information provided by Heather.

          Great Guide
Great tourist guide very informative on time and very happy. Port Arthur was very beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. I however did not get the hush condition the prisoners were living under. The lavender farm was very nice but we were too early for the full bloom of the flower.

          A must do in Tasmania.
It was well worth the visit. Our tour guide, Heather is very knowledgeable and enjoyed showing us around the island. We were fortunate enough to spot lots of wombats and wallabies on our trip.

I was always going to go to Port Arthur on a trip to Hobart and this was a great way to do it.
This was a great way to get to see Port Arthur and soak up some extra into on the way. I wasn’t particularly excited about the clifftop walk that was on the agenda but actually I loved it . Port Arthur is amazing but be aware it is a big site with a lot to read so give yourself plenty of time. One version of this tour includes a visit to the devils - this is a good option if you aren’t super interested in convict history. If you are a nerd like me though you need lots of time at Port Arthur! Save the furry devils for a different day. Our guide was Heather and she was exceptional - very knowledgeable and efficient.

          Poor customer service on phone
Very rude female customer service agent on the phone. Had asked about free cancellation and was told to look up the terms and conditions myself as she wasn’t going to read them out to me. I didn’t expect her to, but didn’t appreciate being spoken to in that tone. Not a good way to get customers!

          Well paced and good guide
Well paced tour with just enough time at each place. Our tour driver was humorous and engaging with about 13 people on the bus.

Decent way to get from Launceston to Hobart and the big 3, guides were friendly and knowledgeable.

It was raining pretty much constantly during our first two days (cradle mountain and wineglass bay) but we still had a good time, the views were awesome despite the rain and fog. We also got to see lots of wombats which are really cute.

The third day to Port Arthur is the only reason we didn't want to give the tour five stars. I wish we could spend more time in Port Arthur instead of the Unzoo (which was okay but unremarkable) and Richmond (lovely town but by the time we got there most shops have already closed). The Port Arthur ferry was also really underwhelming.

We did the big3 from launceston to hobart. First 1.5 days with Greame and next 1.5 with Rick. Fantastic guides I must say. Thoroughly enjoyed their passion for tasmania which reflected in their knowledge about the landscape, flora and faunna. Having such amazing guides makes the trip extra special. A must do tour.

I recently finished the Big 3 tour with Tours Tasmania with my family (3 adult children and my spouse), and we had an amazing time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit many of Tasmania’s natural wonders in an efficient and flexible trip. Some important highlights for us included:

Tour Operators: I spoke with the operators several times before my visit, and they were consistently knowledgeable and responsive. Their customer service helped me feel prepared and excited for the trip—and reassured me that I had made the right choice in terms of tour companies!

Tour: The tour itself covers a wide range of Tasmanian treasures. Many of the sites would otherwise only be accessible by rental car, as they are quite spread out from one another. If you are not used to Aussie driving, this could be difficult! This tour helpfully provides every transportation that you would need, and covers any other logistics which would be a lot of work to figure out on one’s own. Separately, but very importantly, the tour itself consisted of a range of options for travelers of varying levels of activity. Every hike/walk had an “easy”, “medium”, and “hard” option, and travelers get to spend ample time at any given site to explore it to their liking. In this way, the tour felt intimate and individually tailored—unlike most tours in which travelers can feel like a number.

Tour Guides: The primary reason the tour felt so customized, was because of Tours Tasmania’s incredible tour guides.

Graeme was the perfect guide for our two days of hiking/walking in the national parks. He is highly passionate about Tasmania’s natural wonders, and helped my family create the active and hands-on vacation we were looking for. Graeme also had great tips for enjoying Tasmania outside of tour hours, and knew where to get the best pies and pastries! It was also clear that this wasn’t his first time hiking: Graeme shared his own outdoor essentials (sunscreen, ginger chews, etc.) with group members who were in need.

Nick was the ideal guide for our third day of historical site-seeing in Port Arthur and the Tasman Penninsula. He was highly engaging and entertaining, and had abundant answers for any questions we had. Nick also asked the group our level of interest in certain stops, so that we could have a more customized experience.

Overall, this tour is not to be missed! The people both behind the phones, and leading the tours, are consummate professionals.

A big thumb to this tour! We had three guides who brought us to different places each day. We went to Cradle Mountain on Day 1, the guide (should be Graeme) provided us with plenty of time to walk around, we were also able to spot adorable wild wombats and wallaby! We were reminded by the guide that we should not touch any wildlife there, and I really appreciated this a lot since it showed his love to the nature. Jackets, socks and gloves were available to lend if you need them.
Day 2 was an easier day, views from Wineglass Bay was spectacular and we had our lunch at Honeymoon Bay where the water is so calm and clear. We met up with another guide Nick who drove us to Hobart with our luggage. Nick also took us to a Berry Farm and I should say the ice-cream was super delicious!
Day 3 was great because of Nick, our guide. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgable that he introduced a lot of histories of Tassie and Port Arthur to us. He had also given us a playcard of Port Arthur for a little game, which was an interesting process to learn more about Port Arthur. The part where we visited Pirate’s Bay Lookout, Tasman Arch, Devils Kitchen was lovely and Nick would recommend some nice spots for photo taking. Doo Town was very interesting too, we slowly drove through the town to find words with "Doo" on the houses. But the best thing is the asmanian Devil Unzoo where you can see the Tasmanian Devil and feed Kangaroos!!!!!
I did not meant to mention Nick only.... please forgive my poor memory and all guides should be praised for their professionalism. Thank you so much for making our Tassie trip so unforgettable!
