- Pandaaq0 contributionsA Magical TourThe tour with Australian Elements Tours and Charters was absolutely amazing, David went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time while also taking us to some amazing hotspots when we had spare time. He also told us interesting information and history about the different locations we were driving past. David was not only knowledgeable but was also kind and always had a smile on his face. Thank you David and Julie for the lovely experience I will never forget.Written 6 April 2023
- Resort648633210330 contributionsA great day out learning about local port history! My partner and I took a Port Adelaide Heritage tour offered through a cruise line and really enjoyed it. The tour started at the Torrens Island Quarantine station which, at this point, can only be visited with a tour. The station was a fascinating look into history that I cannot believe more people have the opportunity to see and learn from. Our tour also visited the City of Adelaide clipper ship, another fascinating window into history. From there we had a delicious lunch and went to the Port Adelaide Maritime Museum and lastly we had some free time in Semaphore to absorb some of the local history and shops. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in history and learning about how the Port of Adelaide came to be, especially as it gave you the wonderful opportunity to see the old Quarantine station! Additionally, David was a wonderful guide with so much knowledge. Growing up in the area, his local perspective added greatly to the tour. Thank you David for such a great day!Written 13 January 2023
- Laura R0 contributionsJulie was able to customise my tourI engaged Julie from Australian Elements Tours and Charters to assist me in organising a Brewery tour (similar to a wine tour) in the McLaren Vale region. Julie worked with me to customise a tour for a small group. Julie went above and beyond to incorporate all my requests even facilitating a last-minute change. Which ultimately created an enjoyable and successful day. I was able to customise what was included as often brewery tours do not cover the costs of tasting. Julie was able to provide a package which including tastings. If you are looking for custom tour, outside of what is offered on the website, don’t hesitate in asking Julie, she will go above and beyond to create a custom experience just for you.Written 17 January 2021

A group of 8 of us did the Red, White & Brew tour with Dave. Our pick-up and drop off point was Hahndorf, which cost us a little extra, but was well worth it.
Dave’s relationship with the venues we visited ensured we were well looked after everywhere we went. He was a great tour guide and made sure we had a great day.
We highly recommend this tour with Australian Elements Tours and Chartes!

Hi & thank you! Our tour offers something a little different to the usual wine tours and is something you can really enjoy. Dave's dad jokes stand the test of time and helps maintain great relationships with our suppliers! See you again soon :)

We had a lovely day out with Dave from "Australian Elements Tours and Charters" in the Barossa Valley.
Wine tastings and a lovely ploughman's lunch.
Then onto Gin and Beer tastings. A bit of everything for everyone!
Dave shared his knowledge of the Barossa Valley and Adelaide area and was lots of fun.
Would highly recommend ✔️
Thanks Dave😊

The best part of our Adelaide holiday was this tour. Cannot express how well done it was, starting from an extensive wine tasting at Kies Family Wines, followed by a very educational wine tasting at Pindarie including a delicious lunch which lead to a marriage proposal by my beautiful partner outside the Pindarie winery overlooking one of the
most breathtaking sights of the Barossa Valley. We enjoyed a great Gin tasting at Seppeltsfield Rd Gin Distillery and to finish the day off we stopped at Greenock Brewery for some thirst quenching beer tastings where we met some extremely lovely (and very funny hosts). Our tour guide was exceptional and not without a great sense of humour and an extensive knowledge on the history of the sites and surrounds of Adelaide. Thank you so much to Dave at Australian Elements Tours and Charters along with the team at Pindarie who helped make this day one to remember…

This tour is incredible - Such amazing value for your money. Food, wines and the location was just beautiful.
Our experience was spoiled by our bus drivers bad attitude. When asked simple questions we were met with snarky remarks that made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable. We asked what time we should meet back in the bus and were told “are you kidding me!?” this and just constant angry/rude remarks.
We were seated at the back of the bus and could not hear the driver very well as the speakers were at the very front, so we were chatting amongst ourselves for the duration of the one hour drive.
At seppeltsfield's gin distillery we were met by someone with the same bad attitude. When asked which one of the mixers was lemonade she said “can’t you read?”, there was not even a bottle on our table. Just so unnecessarily rude, even people who were not in our group looked put off by that response.
Special mention to Kies family wines, Pindarie and Rehn Bier for simply knocking it out of the park with incredible wines, food and service. It’s worth going on the tour just for them and they are what made this still a fun & beautiful day.
To the bus driver… please deliver your messages with more kindness. You made us uncomfortable and we were celebrating a birthday.
Definitely dissapointed as I have toured South Australian wine regions so many times and never have been disrespected like this. If we were treated with more courtesy this would be a five star review and we would've returned.
Keep in mind 160AUD a head, there was 7 of us - we paid 1120AUD dollars to be there... I feel that for that much money the least we can get is respect.

Hi & thanks for your review, it is always disappointing to hear when our guests haven’t had the best experience and I would be happy to hear from you further if you wanted to email us on info@australianelements.Com.
As you say, this tour is very good value for what you experience. We are quite selective as to where we go and the venues we visit are award winning for very good reason! Glad you enjoyed the beautiful Barossa itself once again and we hope to see you in the McLaren Vale one day..:)

I had wanted to visit the Barossa Valley for many years so, as our cruise ship happened to be docked for a full day in Adelaide on my birthday, this tour seemed to offer the perfect way to spend my special day. I am very pleased to say that, thanks to Dave and the fabulous locations he included in his tour, our trip to the Barossa Valley did not disappoint and my husband and I had a wonderful time.
While I am the wine drinker, my husband prefers beer, and neither one of us drinks gin. That said, we both took the opportunity to sample everything on offer. There were more than enough wines on each tasting for me to feel that I'd tried some of the best of the Barossa Valley, we enjoyed taking part in something new to us both; gin tasting, and we finished the day with a great selection of beers poured for us by the very entertaining host/owner of Greenock Brewers. It was the perfect balance for both of us. The lunch was excellent too and, as vegetarians, we were well catered for.
Dave was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information about the area, but he didn't talk for the sake of it. Also, everything seemed to run like clockwork and yet we never felt rushed. That's the sign of a true professional!
Needless to say, I would highly recommend this tour and would like to thank Dave for helping to make this one of my best birthdays ever.

Hi and thanks for such an awesome review. The Barossa really is one of Australia's hidden gems - & we are so pleased that the venues we visit lived up to your expectations. This was the first time we had passengers from a cruise ship on this tour and it was great that it all went to plan!..Please feel free to share on any other forums for cruise ships that you think may help share the word about us :) Thanks again for joining us on your special day - we would love to see you again one day! Dave

Such a great day out in the Barossa! With a group of 15 strangers at the start of the day, the amazing wines sampled meant we left as friends. Dave was a great host, takes selfies like a pro and some great groups shots too.
Enjoyed each stop we made, and the countryside of the Barossa was just amazing and green!
Would definitely recommend this trip when you’re in SA!

Thank you thank you thank you!! So lovely to witness people starting the day not knowing each other and then gelling in to a collective group of friends by the end of the day! It's so true that you get out what you put in - Love it when this happens! Thanks again and see you soon :)

Great tour. Our driver was so accommodating, we changed the plan half way through and it was no problem. The gin distillery was a high light, so many different gins. Try the breakfast gin, very complex flavours.

Absolutely fantastic! Small local wineries, distilleries and breweries, highly recommend. Dave is lovely and if you ask nicely he’ll crack out the 80s and 90s cds for the bus ride 🤣. Good for the business if you can book directly through their website rather than through a booking service.

We went as a group of 4 on the red, white and brew tour last weekend. We were extremely lucky as we ended up having a private tour with David as there was only our group.
The stops visited were really good, Kies was really good and unpretentious. Pindarie was a beautiful spot with the included lunch was amazing.
A brief stop in Tanundra to look around and off to the excellent distillery. Jack at Seppeltesfield Rd was an awesome guy who looked after us well.
Final stop was the Grenock brewery, where we enjoyed the laid back feel of the place, but they were quite busy with a big group there. Being beer snobs ourselves, it would have been nice to see them spend a bit more time on how the beer was made and explained the styles they were serving. It's well made good quality stuff, but would be nice if the owners had the time to tell a bit of the breweries story.
Overall, a really great day out, and would recommend this tour to everyone. Dave is a great guy, who loves a good joke and a chat and made sure we were well looked after all day - even putting up with my Dad jokes the whole way home.

Gee this as a great day had! Dave the owner and our driver guide was a great bloke, gave a bit of the history as we drove around the Barossa (first time there for me) , took us to a great variety of Aussie owned locations all with people running them that obviously know him well and love what they do. Beautiful spot for lunch (all included in the cost), my friends who have done this area before said this was by far the best tour experience to the Barossa they'd been on. Picked up at 9am, got there about 10ish, back around 6pm. Great value, great fun. Thanks again Dave
