About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Kerriec16160 contributionsBest Day out!Greg runs an amazing service. He is very knowledgable about the area and as he has visited all the wineries numerous times can suggest the best places to visit. We had a full bus and a superb day out despite it being extremely cold since the weekend we visited was when the arctic blast came through. Highly recommend to book Greg for a private tour.Written 16 August 2019
- Steve C0 contributionsBarrossa Valley tourGreg took us on a lovely bus ride to a number of wineries and cheese eateries thru the Barossa with a drive thru the Adelaide hills to finish. Very enjoyable day and good value. Good luck with your B&B and thanks for a great day. Steve and SandraWritten 31 October 2017

We booked a one day wine and food tour with Greg. He was SO adaptable. He asked questions regarding the types of wine and food we liked and dynamically designed the trip to cater for us. Wow! Great work and we were very happy!

The four of us had a great day touring the Barrossa tasting some beautiful wines. Greg was an awesome host who had a great knowledge of not only the wineries but local sights & history as well. As we were also staying at Fernweh Guest house while in Tunanda, we were able to discuss where we wanted to go the night before with Greg, who made up our itinerary adding in some of his own suggestions. He did not disappoint and we had a full day including the local markets, great lunch stop, & plenty of wine, thoroughly recommend to any one who likes good wines and also a great place to stay.

From the time we booked the trip to the moment Greg dropped us off at the hotel for the last time, we received such wonderful service. Greg had a wealth of knowledge of the area and was just a down right good bloke. Couldn't recommend more highly. Thanks Greg!

Greg was an incredible tour guide for our day exploring the Barossa Valley and sampling its food and wine. He picked us up at the cruise port in a comfortable van, so our small group of 4 had lots of room. Our first stop was a wonderful farmers' market offering locally grown fruits and vegetables and home made food items. Everyone was so friendly and let us sample their wares even though we were not buying. The coffee brulee was the best "cuppa" a java aficionado could taste. Greg then took us to several wineries which were pleasing to both our eyes and our palates.
Lunch was at a winery which also served gourmet pizzas - just what we needed to help soak up the great wines we had enjoyed earlier in the day. We made stops to sample cheeses and dried fruits. Greg even invited us to his lovely B&B where his delightful wife Chris served us coffee, tea and the best cake I have had in the longest time. Needless to say, others we met on board our cruise were pea green with jealousy as they heard us regale them with our excursion.
Thank you Greg and Chris for a wonderfully memorable day!

We were collected from our accommodation and taken to several wineries in the Barossa Region. Our guide, Greg was exceptional and asked us about the type of wines we liked to drink and sculpted the tour to suit. Enjoyed many great wines and great service. Would recommend this tour company to anyone visiting the Barossa.
Also, they have a B & B (Fernweh Guesthouse, Tanunda) which is just beautiful and is in a great location in the heart of the Barossa. Will be staying there on our next visit!!

We were staying at Fernweh so decided our best option was to tour with our host Greg. How lucky for us - we had a fantastic day with a tour completely tailored to our needs. We were only 4 so it was even more personal. We visited Saltram, Hart, Gibson, Langmeil, David Franz and Chateau Dorrien. We also visited an old cottage museum which was very interesting.
A really great variety of wineries and a meadery. We had a fantastic do it yourself platter at David Franz full of local goodies. Hart was my favourite - a very small boutique winery with a cellar door in a shed. Langmeil is a gorgeous collection of old buildings. Saltram is a modern cellar door but atmospheric and staff were very welcoming.
Highly recommend Greg’s tour - he was very interesting and really wanted to make sure we were all catered for - we never felt hurried.

We came from WA as a group of 7 and Greg booked us in for a private tour. We got to pick and choose what we wanted and Greg took care of the rest. Organised everything for us and took us on a day not to be forgotten. Greg was a fantastic, relaxed, knowledgeable tour guide whose recommendations were almost without fault (pass on Peter Lehamanns for lunch!). Highly recommend Greg, would love to come back and use his services again. Thanks Greg for an amazing day spent in your beautiful corner of the world!
