The best morning. Great trip and great crew helped me to create great memories. There is so much marine life in the area. I really enjoyed the experience.

Great morning out on the water with very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable crew. Learnt a lot about the whales, the ocean ecosystem and marine life in general which added to the experience in the down time between the swims. All the snorkel gear is also provided and support given to help with perfect comfort and fit. Every effort was taken to provide a whale swim experience however never at the expense of the marine life or outside of regulations which their environmentally conscious and sustainable practices is the reason why I booked Cooly Eco Adventures to begin with. It's not just a business name, it is eco-friendly! An epic experience topped off with fresh fruit to snack on for the return journey. Will return!

We had an amazing day today with Cooly Eco Adventures. Lachy and his crew were professional and knowledgeable and made the experience unforgettable. We didn't expect to see the number of whales we saw or to get so close to these beautiful creatures. We could have reached out and touched the whale that's how close it was to the boat. At one time, we were surrounded by 7 whales. Unforgettable day.

Lachy and Gemma, skipper and crew, were amazing with locating the whales, and ensuring everyone got to view lots of whales today. The boat is excellent, enabling everyone to have a close up view.Because the boat has only 12 passengers it makes the trip feel like a fantastic personalised adventure .Trip was amazing, I want to rebook, and go again!

As a family, we decided to take our international student whale-watching. Well, Lachlan and the team didn't disappoint. The kids and husband loved the boat's speed, the whales were amazing, and the crew's knowledge was excellent. The best bit for me had to be the size of the party—it was tailored to 12 people and felt relaxing. We left early at 6.30 am, and it was stunning. As the sun rose, it warmed up beautifully. Such an amazing experience! I went out on the early morning trip. The weather was cool but beautiful, but I was rugged up in the wetsuit and jacket and feeling fine. It didn’t take us long to find dolphins and whales! So many whales! Such a joy to have them swimming around us and under/alongside the vessel! Thanks to the very knowledgeable Lachlan and Abby. The trip back to shore was exhilarating and so much fun! I highly recommend this tour for a genuine experience. A very ethical company and I loved that we were a small group.

AMAZING morning out with Joel & Cassie. Joel entertained us the right amount of whale information and eco facts. We saw lots of whales, and saw them breaching close to the boat. Would absolutely recommend!

What a great time we had whale watching on Saturday with the crew from Cooley Eco Tours. Great small tour on a fast and modern boat-we enjoyed cruising up the river then out to sea! So many whales we didn't know where to look-the boat was so flexible we could move quickly to follow multiple pods. Friendly and knowledgeable crew and great value for money. An absolutely amazing experience swimming with the whales - being up so close in the sea with them. To have the whales constantly breaching was just incredible they were happy displaying their skills spinning 360 degrees and exploding as high as they could out of the sea making the biggest slash they could for us. Great experience with a fun and knowledgeable crew as well as an entertaining presentation of marine life. This is a wonderful way to explore sea life around the Tweed and the Gold Coast.

We had the best morning swimming with the turtles. We where blessed with perfect weather conditions and loads of turtles. Joel, Julia and Mika looked after us so well. I would recommend this tour to anyone, they only take a maximum of 9 people out so snorkelling is very calm and you can take your time. The gear you are provided with is great and doesn’t feel like it’s been worn by 1000 people before you. On the way over to cook island we paused to let the dolphins come and say hello which was also amazing. If you are in two minds about booking a ‘swim with turtle’ tour I would say you can’t go wrong with these guys and book on. Thank you for a morning we will never forget

Stunning experience. So peaceful under the water with many species of colourful fish to see, the movements of the underwater sea grass and the motions of the surf. The boat favourite was definitely the graceful turtles. Amazing, beautiful turtles in their natural habitat. Highly recommend the Cooly Eco team, Cass and Joel looked after all our needs and ensured everyone was comfortable in the water. We loved hearing the turtle stories, and importantly ways to keep marine life safe and our oceans thriving.
