Short on time? Sample the natural beauty of the Gold Coast on this short and sweet 2-hour tour. Hop on a sea kayak and paddle your way over to Wave Break Island to swim and snorkel amid tropical fish and colourful coral. Spot dolphins, stingrays and sea turtles along the coast, and search for wallaby on a short bushwalk, before heading back to shore.
What to Expect
After meeting your guide, travel a short distance to Biggera Waters where your kayaks will be waiting ready for your departure. If you’ve never kayaked before, your guide will give you a demonstration and will help you along the way. Paddle approximately 30-minutes across the ocean towards Wave Break Island. Make sure to keep a lookout for the local marine life including dolphins, stingrays and turtles.
Wave Break Island is a stunning man-made island built to protect the western foreshore and is now home to many iconic Australian animals. Make sure to keep an eye out for the Australian wallaby as you take a short 10-minute bush-walk across the island to a picturesque location perfect for snorkeling.
Here you’ll spend approximately 30-minutes exploring the islands incredible reef, home to hundreds of tropical fish and a wide variety of marine fauna. If you’ve got one, make sure to bring your underwater camera as the marine life is simply breathtaking.
Once you’ve explored the reef, stop for a fresh fruit and beverage as you take in the picturesque surrounding views before heading back to Biggera Waters.
We offer
courtesy pick up and drop-off to certain pickup locations located across Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach (for information about pickup locations and times please go to the Additional info section). Fun & exciting

The kayaking could of be longer we didn’t need to stop at the 2nd island. The time should of been spent on continuous kayaking around the bay
