- srikanthp844005 star experience , great valueLovely tour . The wines , cheese , chocolate and lunch were amazing. Had a 5star experience and really good value.
- Carina E00Fun half day tourWe enjoyed it immensely, Jules our driver was a gem and made it easy to get to know the others. Such great conversations and an intro to 3 of hunter Valleys winery’s. What more could one ask for?! Jules even showed us a kangaroo spot where a whole bunch of them were. Thanks to Jules and our great company on the bus as well!
- 940mellf00Half day wine tourDave our driver & tour guide was amazing lovely man & full of knowledge :) Great tour & great wine came away it fantastic wine from two fat blokes winery
- Rebecca O00Good wine and good companyWe had a brilliant time on the winery tour. The wine and cheese pairing was excellent, and we met some wonderful people. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone, and I'd go again if I'm ever back in the area.
- LynneM32800Best wine tour everLoved this tour. Very well organised. Our tour guide Julie was really great There was a good variety in the places we stopped and the length of time at each stop was just right. The grazing box for lunch was awesome. Would definitely go on this tour again
- 842nathaliek003/5Best part of the tour was the first stop at the 2 Fat Blokes - great cheese pairing with excellent wines with Andy a great guide. The next 2 stops were pretty boring, seated in a cold room tasting wine with no nibbles. Andy disappeared for the rest of the tour, Tour is only 3 hours 20 minutes not 4 hours long. Expensive for the experience
- Fearless62467800Best experience everWe had the most amazing fun half day tour. Our Driver, Andy, was so upbeat and went to a lot of effort to make us all feel welcome and was a big part of the day. We had 5 different groups from ACT, Qld, Netherlands, Germany and Ireland - what a hoot! The 3 wineries were excellent and the cheese matching was amazing. Couldn't recommend this tour enough!!
- Toni_8105900Fun wine tasting day for a group of old friends! We enjoyed a wonderful day with Two Fat Blokes. We’re a group of old school friends and partners and we get together at least once a year to catch up and have some fun. We organised a private full day tour and visited four wineries plus a tavern for lunch. We had a great day and would certainly recommend Two Fat Blokes again! Thanks to Paul our driver and tour guide and Sharon for organising everything for us.
- merrano202300The perfect way to see what the Hunter wine region has to offer! We had the best fun celebrating our birthdays with Two Fat Blokes and our guide John. Great tastings of wine & cheese pairings to start our day, followed by cheese & chocolate…do I need to say anything else!!! The lunch boxes supplied were delicious and generous servings, wineries were welcoming for our group of 14. We played our music on the bus and ended our tour at the brewery. The perfect selections for us.highly recommend the full day tour a wonderful experience and great way to see the Hunter.
- kerrieley00Delicious cheese & chocolate wine tourDriver picked me up on time & very friendly. Knew everything about wine. Cheese & wine was delicious. Lunch was large and tasty. Chocolate & wine was also delicious. Finished at the brewery which was fun. Overall, a fun day & well worth while!
- 166clivem00FANTASTIC TOURHaving done many wine tours in the past I would have to say this was the best by far. The organisation, wines and food were all excellent! Met great people and the tour guide was just great! Can’t recommend this tour enough.
- janedJ9222VU00fun wine tourBill our expert guide was amazing this is our 2nd tour with 2 fat blokes and it is informative, fun and well worth the experience. You come away with how to get the best out of your glass of wine, buy some beautiful wines, let alone taste some cheeses and chocolates, and also visit a brewery. Nothing is rushed, you don't feel obligated to buy, its just the best day you can have
- angieuelese00best wine touramazing! went on two wine tours with these guys and audrey wilkinson and it was nice to not drive around. julz was so good and funny. highly recommend! made really good friends and tried wines that i usually don’t like that were nice. I really do not recommend this half-day tour , I have been on a number of tours in the Hunter and this was the worst value by far. We got picked up and they drove 5 mins to their own property where we sat down , no view, and served their own wine , with some cheese . The next one the service was slow and again inside and the last one was inside again, service was a lovely couple.
In summary, we never got to sit and enjoy the Hunter beautiful valley or the amazing vineyards which I was truly disappointed about rather felt I was being sold their own wine to be honest. We had my son who could not drink and they served him tap water at the 3 stops , they charged him full price of $89 as they said he took up a seat we were a group of 11 as it turned out we had the van to ourselves. Not a good experience compared to the others I have been on.

Had a half day tour with Bill, our tour guide who was friendly, knowledgeable and quite humorous.
The wineries we visited were lovely, the hosts/hostesses welcoming and and the wines we tasted were varied. The cheese and wine paring section of the trip was really informative and "yummy". Needless to say several bottles of wine and a selection of cheese were purchased.
This is the second time we have travelled with "Two Fat Blokes" and would not hesitate to do so again.
We can recommend this company to anyone that wants to go wine tasting in the Hunter Valley.

It’s my second time in Hunter Valley and I had brought a friend with me. I want her experience with wine tour to be beautiful and memorable. Well!! Juls the lady tour guide from the Two Fat Blokes made it happen! She’s fun to be with. Her beautiful character and talent made the tour an exceptional experience we will never forget! She’s knowledgeable and very professional (with some good humour to chuck in) in what she does!!
She made our group talk to each other - by the end of the tour we we’re all singing our hearts out and enjoying each others’ company. Get off the bus if it’s not Juls. 😂
No, kidding aside.. this woman should have some pay raise for the job well done!!

We booked this tour off of multiple recommendations - and boy do we see why. We had, hands down the best experience with two fat blokes on their half day snapshot tour. We headed off at 2pm not knowing what to expect, only to have one of the most memorable days ever. We pet some beautiful dogs, drank (a LOT) of beautiful wine, filled up on cheese, and had the absolute pleasure of meeting the friendliest and funniest tour group of all time (shoutout to jodie, shane-o, anna and daniel).
Julie our driver was the best guide we could have asked for, after a little mix up that left our food at the two fat blokes restaurant Julie went back to two fat blokes just to grab our dinner and drop it off back to our hotel despite that making her late for her own dinner plans, this was the kindest and most above and beyond service we have ever experienced.
The only bad part was the tour ending :(

We had a great time on our half day tour!
Our driver Bill was really lovely and very knowledgeable about the area and most importantly, the wine.
We had a good intro to wine in the Hunter valley and would recommend this to anyone interested in checking out the hunter but is short of time.
I definitely plan to try a full day tour next time I am in the area!

Great day spent with “Two Fat Blokes”! 6 of us started with delicious share plate lunch + reasonably priced wine from the cellar door. Rachel & Wanda were very welcoming, we had such a fun lunch. From there we started our half day winery tour with Andrew....a lot more fun to be had!!! Only down side was that we were so full from lunch we couldn’t appreciate the cheese & wine pairing.
A fantastic day out & can highly recommend.

Great experience! We started with the cheese and win tasting experience and then visited two other wineries. We liked starting with the wine and cheese pairing and then moving on to other wineries. Our guide (Andrew) was very personable and gave a good amount of detail regarding the region and wineries we were visiting.
As a tour package, the attention to detail was really good. For instance, making sure we had a list of what we were tasting at each winery (and some pointers beforehand on the ‘must try’ wines), and a box for each group to store their cellar door purchases. We also enjoyed the fact that we had a reserved table at each cellar door so our tasting experience was fuss free.
We liked that there was a really good mix in the tour group, from retirees to undergrads…
We ended the afternoon (early evening) with music playing as each group was dropped back to their accommodation - a terrific way to conclude the tour! We’d recommend this tour as a good way to explore a few wineries at a leisurely pace.
The tour was a small group and we had door to door service.

Amazing, knowledgeable tour guide (Andy) was incredibly patient, friendly and took us to 3 boutique wineries; Hungerford hill, Hunters dream and 2 fat blokes winery for my best friend’s birthday. Standout wines included the Semillon, Shiraz and Moscato. At our final stop, 2 fat blokes we had an incredibly paired cheese tasting where the birthday girl got some extra attention which she really appreciated (extra cheese plate, froze and a free jam)+a birthday song. Cheese standouts included the Labne, Feta cheese and Brie. Andy even gave us extra time (tour was supposed to finish 5 but 5:25 we were still at the last winery) so gave us an extra extended, amazing experience! Perfect amount of different wineries and settings too- will come back without a doubt. Thank you Andy and co!

Prompt pick up with great communication about meeting place and time. Small group and mix bunch of people. Due to our wine intake everyone was friendly. Guide was organized and approachable. dad jokes were welcome from our guide.
I recommend this tour as 3 wineries is enough in one afternoon.
Too many tastings included Chardonnay. Is there an excess supply the Hunter are trying to off load?
The wineries we went too had affordable wine on the low end of cost. Great for a first time visitor experience to the winery. This was not my first visit to the Hunter Valley and do have my favorite wineries, that I visited the next day.

Every aspect our our wine tour was wonderful. Comminication on pick up time, punctuality, local knowledge, clean bus and extensive wine and cheese knowledge. The 3 vineyards were all very different and our tastings weren’t rushed or pushing for sales. Just perfect. We couldn’t have been more delighted. Highly recommend this tour. Thankyou 2 Fat Blokes tours.

Are children (4 year old) allowed on the tour bus? If yes what's the pricing?

Actually kids may be allowed but they would be bored stiff I accept as there is no where to play or entertain them . The best part of the tour is the cheese at the end and your sat around tight tables . Whilst you could brings kids I dunno if you would have the most relaxing experience
