- eyes19970 contributionsGreat experience in the hunter valleyThe restaurant that our original tour was booked for was full and Grayson was very proactive in informing us early with proposal for lunch at another restaurant with a wine tasting thrown in as well. Our friendly pilot, Adam, gave us a very detailed tour of the hunter valley region, pointing out various locations of interest and even flew us over the nearby mountain ridges. Would definitely recommend the helicopter tour as a highlight for the hunter valley region.Written 22 February 2024

Grayson was an epic pilot and couldn’t do enough to make us feel comfortable and welcome. He was very friendly and knowledgable on the Hunter Valley region! We did the private helicopter wine tour and the team even let me choose the two venues we visited! Special mention to Adam who made the trip to/from the restaurant wonderful with his commentary, great conversation and took great photos of us two. 3 course lunch was amazing too at the Emerson’s, great customer service and delicious food. The experience was absolutely amazing from the time we took off and was whisked away for our amazing lunch. What a great experience for our kids, a short trip for there first helicopter trip and they loved it. So worth the money and better value for money then a hot air balloon. Would highly recommend and do it again. Super friend staff and very accommodating.

While on a long weekend away at the hunter we took our kids for a helicopter ride as a surprise. Bibianne the pilot really made this experience amazing for our kids. She took the time to answer all their questions and asked them some q aswell. Kids loved it! Will recommend to anyone visiting the hunter. Thanks Bibianne!

We booked 10 minute flight to get a nice top view of the Hunter valley. On the whole, it was an awesome experience. I would recommend sitting in the front with the pilot. The helicopter shivers a little if it is slightly breezy and it feels weirdly nice.
The pilot and the ground attendant were very polite and welcoming. The weather was great too and that made flying even better. I highly recommend going for this special flight for all Hunter Valley visitors.
FYI - book in advance and you might get a better than that in person!

Booked this for my Mums 75th Birthday surprise and she loved it. The staff were awesome, so helpful and accommodating, even had a small step up to help her get in. Pilot Adam was so helpful and knowledgeable, I would definitely recommend and do again if I'm in the HV again.

Loved the view from the air of the beautiful hunter valley vineyards. James our pilot was lovely. Very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Really looked after us. We had a great time. Next time we will book for longer! Recommend.

The helicopter ride was one of the best experience ever. The pilot was so friendly and helpful. We were in rush so did the 6 min flight over hunter valley winery region and it was amazing moment. Definitely recommend everyone to try this awesome experience. Totally worth it.

This was such an amazing experience. Our pilot was so friendly & welcoming. My kids absolutely loved it. They went on the helicopter ride twice. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience. I highly recommend going with this Hunter Valley Helicopter Ride.

This was a surprise flight for my 8 year olds birthday. The pilot who flew us in the helicopter was amazing. My son had an amazing time and next time we will definitely book the longer one. I just have to remember after reminding my son to not walk around the back of the helicopter 😂
