      AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING
Our favourite parts were the distillery and the cheese and wine tasting. Tom was an amazing host driver and would definitely recommend this company to anyone I know that are coming up towards the Hunter Valley. I wouldn't change a thing about this trip at all, the entire experience was great. We really enjoyed ourselves.

      Couples weekend away
Really enjoyed the tour. It was my second time and we only went to two places that were the same, but at these we tried different wines and cheeses in different sections of the winery, so it felt like completely new tour. Our driver Mark was so lovely! Very knowledgeable about the area, whilst also being fun and charismatic. The food at lunch was delicious and excellent quality. We got a taste of such a range of spirits, wines, beers, cheeses and chocolates. It was a great way to get a good broad view of what the Hunter Valley has to offer.

Hunter valley Wine tour- 25th birthday group celebration
This wine tour experience was one of our first in the hunter valley, although it was raining the experience was great! with a tour of ten people on the bus, the tour guide made a miserable rainy day into a birthday celebration to remember! We stopped at 3 vineyards and one distillery, at the first vineyard they run through what to look for in wine tasting and educate you on the wine processing steps so you were aware of what you should be looking for and aware of throughout the remainder of the day! we had an brilliant sit down lunch at the 2nd vineyard with cheese tasting and felt calm/ relaxed throughout the day in spite of being on a timeline. The 3rd vineyard included chocolate tasting and finally some great vodkas and liquors to warm us up before heading back! Our Tour guide was more than happy to take pictures of the group and even went one step further to get the right angles/ effects to capture the experience. Bonus! Would certainly book again.

Amazing day with an amazing driver
We booked the wine tour pretty late and it was the best decision we made. An incredibly fun day despite the rain. The driver was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. The venues we visited were welcoming and lunch was scrumptious. To top off the great experience, when we stupidly forgot our delicious cheese on the bus (in an esky provided by the driver) he made a special trip back to our accommodation to get it back to us. Highly recommend!

      Running late and rushed tour
The Tour was running late so felt like it was extremely rushed throughout the whole experience, The driver was telling the wine tasters and guides that they needed to be quicker and hurry up. Chocolate tasting was pretty much non existent and cheese tasting was rushed and extremely quick with no explanation from operator. Lunch provided was good however and bus was very comfy

The trip is well curated and we ended up tasting 25+ wines through the day. The wine and cheese experience as well as the production tour were the highlights of the day. It's incredibly good value for money. We even had a photo op with some wild kangaroos! Lunch is a good quantity and you can choose from a set menu. The vehicle is a Mercedes mini bus and they carry full capacity per trip so that's 14 pax with 2 riding in front with the driver. The ride can get a little hot with the ac getting frequently turned off (to save fuel, I'm guessing) and can be pretty stuffy in the last row. The driver (Tom) was cheery but his sense of humor is a little off and time management could be a little better. But all in all, it was a great trip.

We have travelled around wineries of the world in New Zealand, Bordeaux, Burgandy, South of France, Napa, Sonoma and Barossa etc but Hunter Valley with the guide Cheeks was our best wine tour yet. He was excellent and provided us with great stories of Hunter Valley and its history on wine and the people. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

The wine tasting was fantastic, especially if you like white wines. The service was good and the bus trip made the travel go smoothly - there was also enough time at each location. I would recommend the burgers and club sandwiches at the lunch, as the best value.

We did the tour under the guidance of Daniel. It was a great experience to which he added the right degree of humour blended with good information. He took care of all the guests and made sure everyone was included.
The trip is an excellent way to introduce one to the wines of the Hunter Valley and all the wineries visited offered a wide selection of wines. The visit to the vodka distillery is good even if you think you don’t like vodka as the range of flavours is tremendous.
Lunch was a highlight but overall the trip is well worth it.

    Thanks Daniel.

From the start, it was an amazing day trip. Our driver was "Cheeks" or David when his mom is angry haha. He was amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable. The vineyards were so charming and the wine tastings were great. We had the opportunity to enjoy, learn, and even meet other nice people. The 3 different wineries offered different experiences and different learning such as cheese and wine pairing, or chocolate and wine pairing. The distillery offered nice gin and flavoured vodka. Fun tour and highly recommended.

The tour was very nice, I had a lovely time!

Our driver was super friendly, he made a few extra stops for us to take some pictures at nice view spots and also to see some kangaroos. The wine tasting and distillery were great, I learned a lot of new things, and the restaurant we had lunch was also very nice. Our group also got along well together.

    I definitely recommend it!

Enjoyed our tour. It was a rainy day and this was a good day for a wine tour to Hunter Valley. Lunch was very good. Had ample wine to try at each of the 3 locations. The distillery and chocolate stop was a nice unexpected bonus (although it was in the description if I had read it more carefully. Col was a wonderful host.

The only negative was the travel time. We were expecting 2 hours each way, and it took 3 1/2 hours to get there. It ended up they had 3 pick up locations (we thought there was one). We started at the Sydney CBD pick-up location. The first pick up as in Bondi and they were late getting to our pick up location. The 3rd pickup location (at Gordon) seemed to take a lot of time to get to and then back to the Motorway. The return trip seemed almost that long. If we had known it was that much travel time, we might not have done this excursion/tour.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your recent day tour to The Hunter Valley, and for letting us know how wonderful Col was. With regards to the transport times, on a continuous drive, with no traffic delays, The Hunter Valley is close to 2.5 hours North of Sydney. We have 4 pick up locations in the city (Bondi, Kings Cross, Central and Circular Quay). The pick up at Gordon is directly on the way, and at no time does the driver have to detour off the route to get there. We apologize that the first pick up of the day set you behind, however, we do hope you understand that Sydney is the largest city in Australia, and as such, traffic conditions can and do change on a daily basis. We understand it's quite a lengthy drive to The Hunter Valley, which is why we limit our stops in the morning, and try to provide interesting commentary to keep you entertained. Having said all that, it's great to hear you enjoyed the day once there. Cheers
