    Great trip
My trip originally had to be postponed, so finally happy to be able to go. What a terrific trip! Our guides Gaz and Dave were great. Nothing was too much trouble, and were very attentive and encouraging. My first guided hiking tour in Aust, and I've been sold

    Staying Young at Heart
The Young at Heart program provided a great opportunity to learn new skills and make friends. Each week was a little more challenging but never beyond our capability.

    Give it a try...
This was a perfect introduction to multi-day bush walking. Our guides, Eva and Dave, and fellow walkers accommodated my slower pace very kindly. The surroundings were beautiful and full of variety.

    Amazing Oyster tasting Kayak tour
It was an absolutely amazing experience. We were able to kayak alongside an experienced tour guide (Michael, who was epic btw!), taste local oysters and listen to a local 4th generation oyster breeder talk about their art in the oyster industry! Don’t even contemplate, if you’re looking for something to do in Batemans Bay, you gotta check Region X out and book this tour!

Wonderful day exploring the Yuin Country coastline
We had a terrific day and half day sea kayak with Gaz and Michael. We loved the paddle to black rock and the pit stop on the beach for morning tea. We even had visitors the last portion of the trip with dolphins close by and whales in the distance! I thought I would have needed more strength for having to paddle for a few hours but the kayaks are so sturdy and do most of the work. We are local and already looking forward to another tour at some stage. Thank you!

    Great guides, great location
Guides David and Jackson looked after us well and took us on a great tour into the mangroves on the incoming tide (which as I understand may or may not be part of your tour, depending on conditions). Thoroughly enjoyed by all the family.

The best way to explore the Bay
One of the best ways to experience the Bay - the team makes it very interactive and fun at the same time, even for first timers. We went up all the way to the estuary and kayaking through the mangrove trees, which would be the only way to explore that area in style. The trip is also separated with small breaks and the kids were having an awesome time playing games up on the beach. Most of all, the team was always there making sure you're looked after throughout the entire journey. Highly recommended! Thank you for making our morning so enjoyable!

Great way to experience Batemans Bay
We did the pizza and paddle experience at sunset. Jaxon and Michael were fantastic guides, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The pizza on a kayak was unique and delicious, and the kayaking around the Clyde at sunset and in the evening was beautiful. Definitely recommend this trip.

    Memorable 3 Day Murramurang
Absolutely stunning coastal walk. Our 2 guides Eva and Lily managed the group beautifully with the right balance of local & environmental knowledge and allowing our group to find our own pace. Organisation and timing was seamless, including a high quality massage therapist for a few of the walkers on the afternoon of day 2. With all the meals and organisation taken care of, all we had to do was turn up and enjoy this incredible

    Fun, relaxing and enjoyable
My wife and I never Kayaked before but they made it very easy for us to learn it quickly. The talk by one of the oyster farmers was interesting, got to learn about the history and farming techniques. Got to see the oyster farms and their processing area. The weather is crucial for this and on the day the weather was fine which made the whole experience pleasant. Overall, the tour was very enjoyable for my wife and I.

    Great Oyster Tasting Kayak Tour
Great tour! Perfect for those who have never Kayaked before, and very educational as well. The best part is of course getting to taste oysters

A wonderful kayak tour overall! A bit bumpy at the start with an email bouncing back that resulted in us arriving late, but the tour guides were super accommodating and easy going, which set the tone for us in having a great experience despite the minor drama. We were also the slowest kayak to start with as this was our first kayak experience but again the experienced guides were helpful and built great rapport with us. We eventually got the hang of it though and cruised to second place on the way back. The stopover, morning tea and snorkel were relaxing and heaps of fun with great company all around. Many thanks!

Hi Zaki , It was SO lovely meeting you both. I hope you had an amazing New Years! You definitely are some of the fastest learners I've had on tour!! I truly hope you come paddling with us again soon as there's so much to see down here and next time we'll take a different route for a completely different experience. Thanks for being so understanding about the booking error. Two legends! Warm wishes, Amy

I spoke with RegionX a couple weeks out from being in BB as I was on my own. Josh was very responsive and engaging and promised to get in touch on my first day in the area to discuss options based on other people also attending. He was true to his word, so I could plan the rest of my week. After reviewing weather and sea conditions, he chose Thursday as the pick of the week... and it certainly was. I felt included and valued and had a fantastic experience - seals, snorkelling and kayaking through rock channels were definite highlights, as was the piping hot, brewed coffee with a fabulous morning tea spread (much needed after the early start). Thank you - this was everything I expected and more. I'd do this again in a heart-beat!

We have had the pleasure of 4 sea kayaking experiences and each has been great - most recently it was the half day tour. We have found all instructors to be very professional and friendly. The food provided has been delicious. We’ve always been given some interesting information about the area we are in and always felt safe and well supported. We’ll be back.

If you're looking for a socially distanced staycation adventure then look no further! They provided us with directions via google maps to the starting point to make sure we didn't get lose. All the gear is provided including dry bags and spray jackets. Out on the open water with nothing but fresh air we were on the lookout for sealife and were lucky enough to spot a mink whale. We had some breaks on the water for snacks which was delicious dried mango and chocolate. Josh was always patient with us as my sister and I weren't the strongest paddlers, thanks Josh! At morning tea snorkelling gear was also available for anyone who wanted to go for a dip and another delicious spread was provided. Would love to do another kayaking trip with them :)

It was an early start this morning, a southerly breeze and overcast skies made it a little fresh but we soon warmed up once we were kitted out in life jackets and spray skirts. After a quick lesson on how to steer the kayak and how to escape if we ended upside down, we hit the water and paddled north from Garden Bay cruising past Lilly Pilli and Circuit beach. We saw dolphins really close to our kayak surfing the waves before landing at black sand beach to stretch our legs and enjoy a picnic morning tea. After our rest we continued north and landed at Wimbie Beach. Thanks #Regionx for a great morning out on the water. Highly recommend this trip, we felt very safe with Josh. His knowledge of the ocean, skill and expertise made us feel at ease and we learnt some interesting things on how to preserve the biodiversity of the ocean.

The outstanding tour guides made this half day trip a wonderful and educational experience for our group of young and (slightly) old.

The team at RegionX are wonderful ambassedeurs for their region and its flora, fauna and natural wonders. Josh and Troy are very friendly, knowledgeable and safety conscious.

The morning tea and snorkel at "Nightmare Bay" was a highlight!

We are all looking forward to the next tour soon!

Fantastic day Kataking . Loved exploring the ocean and the little untouched bays and coves , sure gives a whole new perspective out on the water . A bit of swell made for some extra fun and a quick walk at morning tea provided spectacular views . As a solo traveller it’s often difficult to book into tours but Josh was more than welcoming . Look forward to coming back again for Whale season .
Ps : Josh also is a great car pit crew having my flat tyre changed in no time .

Joanne, Great to hear that you had such an amazing time exploring the beautiful region of Batemans Bay and surrounds by sea. We have a wonderful coastline with some awesome spots to stop and have a break and soak in the environment. We would love to see you back for our whale season from August onwards. Josh is handy at many things and glad he got you back on the road asap.

What a sensational morning! We paddled out over a gentle swell to a hidden, deserted cove where we snorkled in cold, crystal clear water before warming up with hot (brewed!) coffee. We lazed and explored for a while then had a cruisey paddle back exploring the nooks and crannies of the coastline. David was an awesome friendly and knowledgeable guide, pacing us perfectly. All up this was a really special experience. Now feeling wonderfully tired, salty and happy!

Absolutely incredible morning. Loved every second! Wish we had more time to experience more of what the gorgeous area had to offer as we were blown away from the picturesque coastline to the delish cheesecake and super friendly and helpful staff. I can't wait to be back in the area to try out another one of these tours!

We had the best morning! Josh and his daughter were excellent guides and really knew the area well. We got to swim with fur seals, we saw dolphins and a had an easy paddle out on the ocean. We had morning tea on a little beach after our swims with the seals - delicious cheese, vegan cherry ripe slice and fresh fruit, along with coffee, a selection of teas or hot chocolate. My boyfriend and I both agreed that it was a morning to remember! Definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of heading to Batemans Bay.
