- Judy B00Great tripMy trip originally had to be postponed, so finally happy to be able to go. What a terrific trip! Our guides Gaz and Dave were great. Nothing was too much trouble, and were very attentive and encouraging. My first guided hiking tour in Aust, and I've been sold
- Christhol00Staying Young at HeartThe Young at Heart program provided a great opportunity to learn new skills and make friends. Each week was a little more challenging but never beyond our capability.
- JillS88700Great fun, confidence building and connecting to local communityI completed a 6 week Young at Heart Kayaking Course. It gave me the confidence to kayak more, I met some fabulous people and found place locally i have never visited before
- wendygZ5850VX00The best south coast immersion experienceWhat a sensational morning! We paddled out over a gentle swell to a hidden, deserted cove where we snorkled in cold, crystal clear water before warming up with hot (brewed!) coffee. We lazed and explored for a while then had a cruisey paddle back exploring the nooks and crannies of the coastline. David was an awesome friendly and knowledgeable guide, pacing us perfectly. All up this was a really special experience. Now feeling wonderfully tired, salty and happy!
- 257rosen00Give it a try...This was a perfect introduction to multi-day bush walking. Our guides, Eva and Dave, and fellow walkers accommodated my slower pace very kindly. The surroundings were beautiful and full of variety.
- 220alvink00Amazing Oyster tasting Kayak tourIt was an absolutely amazing experience. We were able to kayak alongside an experienced tour guide (Michael, who was epic btw!), taste local oysters and listen to a local 4th generation oyster breeder talk about their art in the oyster industry! Don’t even contemplate, if you’re looking for something to do in Batemans Bay, you gotta check Region X out and book this tour!
- Michelle Y00Wonderful day exploring the Yuin Country coastlineWe had a terrific day and half day sea kayak with Gaz and Michael. We loved the paddle to black rock and the pit stop on the beach for morning tea. We even had visitors the last portion of the trip with dolphins close by and whales in the distance! I thought I would have needed more strength for having to paddle for a few hours but the kayaks are so sturdy and do most of the work. We are local and already looking forward to another tour at some stage. Thank you!
- Adam O00Great way to experience Batemans BayWe did the pizza and paddle experience at sunset. Jaxon and Michael were fantastic guides, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The pizza on a kayak was unique and delicious, and the kayaking around the Clyde at sunset and in the evening was beautiful. Definitely recommend this trip.
- kathrynhU2789AP00Great tour!It was a really enjoyable experience kayaking, visiting and learning about oyster farming. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was a great way to spend a few hours at Batemans Bay.
- kingsea100what an experiencewhat a great way to experience Batemans Bay from the water and better still get to eat and learn about oysters from this local region. Do not miss this or you have missed the best part of one of the greatest way to explore this area
- 174donnaa00Amazing ExperienceFantastic day out on the water.Such friendly helpful operators. If your visiting the area do not miss this special experience.
- OWRJEONB00Memorable 3 Day MurramurangAbsolutely stunning coastal walk. Our 2 guides Eva and Lily managed the group beautifully with the right balance of local & environmental knowledge and allowing our group to find our own pace. Organisation and timing was seamless, including a high quality massage therapist for a few of the walkers on the afternoon of day 2. With all the meals and organisation taken care of, all we had to do was turn up and enjoy this incredible
- egomes100000Fun, relaxing and enjoyableMy wife and I never Kayaked before but they made it very easy for us to learn it quickly. The talk by one of the oyster farmers was interesting, got to learn about the history and farming techniques. Got to see the oyster farms and their processing area. The weather is crucial for this and on the day the weather was fine which made the whole experience pleasant. Overall, the tour was very enjoyable for my wife and I.
- JanelleChua00Great Oyster Tasting Kayak TourGreat tour! Perfect for those who have never Kayaked before, and very educational as well. The best part is of course getting to taste oysters
- danielsC1973GX00GREAT, AMAZING, BEST EVERWe actually visited Batemans Bay with some friends and my partner during Covid times between the lockdowns. Jan 2021. It was amazing and well worth it for sure. You get to see parts of Batemans Bay you just wouldn't get to see. We did the Pizza Kayak Tour and liked it so much did the Oyster tour a couple of days later. We had our own Kayaks which we were able to use with the group. There is also a day tour with lunch that I did which was also great and well worth it. The team at Region X are great and I can't wait to again when back in Batemans.

Well, what more than 5 stars could I say..
This company excelled with local knowledge and great eyes for spotting local wildlife on land and in water. Garren(Gaz) the guide, was a great guide! showing us what keen eyes he had for spotting the underwater life, not an easy task when camouflage plays a huge part in the sand..
The group felt safe and comfortable as all safety precautions where met. We had some newbies in the group that had never kayaked before and Gaz’s training had them off and paddling!
The Tour operator Josh was excellent in keeping the program on track and providing options for the day at hand. Josh is super flexible with keeping everyone happy. Josh even went above and beyond for me! Sharing local knowledge of secluded spots when looking to make the experience a momentous occasion for a special someone. Josh did not have to help me, but he did! Awesome stuff, a true blue company.
I would use this company again and will be passing on the good word to friends and family.

This was my first time kayaking and it was much easier than expected. The boats are stable and easy to control. We covered vast distances without much effort. The guide, Gaz, was delightful. We learned a lot about ecology and aboriginal culture. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to step out of their comfort zone and do something that's just slightly challenging but extremely enjoyable. It also makes for wonderful photos!

Our family of 6 (kids from 8 yo to 16) did the glass bottom kayak tour of the Cullendulla marine area which despite all our years holidaying on the South Coast was a great new experience. Josh is an awesome tour guide - lots of indigenous history that again embarrassingly we did not know and other local/marine knowledge. It was a great afternoon despite the weather which was rainy, and in some ways was a really good wet weather activity as you got pretty wet anyway. Highly recommend.

I took my son's (10 and 7) on this 2nd paddle and it was a great break from normal school holiday activities. We were beginners and Josh (guide) made us feel comfortable in the kayaks and communicated well with the boys. The kayaking was manageable and relaxing. We were away from built up marinas and glided through mangroves. The boys loved the information about flora and sea life and the quick swim before heading back. I will do again in the future.

This short 2-hour kayak tour just made our Christmas holiday perfect. It's far beyond our expectations of how good it can be. Garran and Justin are our guide leaders. Those two are so helpful and fun. Garran's knowledge about marine environment goes into every details of what we were seeing and feeling around kayaking, from sea to river, and from plant to animal. Justin shared a lot of his fun guiding experiences in different wilds. With both of them leading the tour, we felt the time just went pass too quickly to have enough knowing, seeing and touching. Definitely highly recommend. You won't regret it for a second!

It has been a while since I last did kayaking and this tour is a very good refresher with lots of fun! The tour guide is very outgoing and gave everyone very good instruction. I really appreciate how he also provided background to the Cullendulla Sanctuary and stressed the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability. The glassbottom tour was approximately 2.5hrs with decent duration of kayaking, rest and appreciation of the sanctuary. I truly enjoyed the experience and I highly recommend it.

Josh and his daughter were amazing hosts, very knowledgeable about the area and telling us lots of interesting facts throughout the trip. Plenty to see throughout the relatively easy paddle and a nice little stop for snacks and a swim along the way.
We originally bought out tickets for Dec 2019, but due to bushfires and covid were unable to use them, but Josh didn't hesitate once when we reached out about using them and honoured the tickets right away. Great guy and really fun day out!

One of the best ways to experience the Bay - the team makes it very interactive and fun at the same time, even for first timers.
We went up all the way to the estuary and kayaking through the mangrove trees, which would be the only way to explore that area in style.
The trip is also separated with small breaks and the kids were having an awesome time playing games up on the beach.
Most of all, the team was always there making sure you're looked after throughout the entire journey.
Highly recommended! Thank you for making our morning so enjoyable!
