This was easily the highlight of my entire New Zealand trip, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Landing on a glacier and seeing all the mountains and valleys from the air is the best way to see them, hands down. I even got a free upgrade that included a Milford sound cruise just due to what was booked by others that day. Hard to say no to that! Everyone else would have to drive multiple hours there and back to see Milford sound. Instead, it was a 45 minute helicopter ride. Worth every penny I spent! The pilot was great, too, and the helicopters are very well maintained. Definitely consider booking with them.

What an amazing experience. I am 74 and Jono the pilot couldnt have been more kind helpful caring in helping me get in - out of helicopter then across the very deep snow. Just brilliant all round. Magnificent scenery. Professional. Safe. I wont remember the cost. I WILL remember the experience. Very emotional indeed…what a beautiful world!

The most beautiful hidden lakes, a landing on Clark Glacier, Mt Aspiring, and popping over a ridge to surprise a herd of deer. Incredible blue ice formations peeking out beneath metres of snow. Photos didn't do any of it justice. The pilot, Bill, was skilled and knowledgeable and made sure everyone had an amazing experience. Tips: Follow the company's recommendation to book in right at the beginning of your trip in case of rescheduling due to bad weather. This happened to us, but we were able to eventually get on a flight on what the pilot said was one of the best days he'd seen in weeks. It helps to be mentally prepared for changes, talk kids through what happens if it's cancelled, and research some Plan B options, just in case. If you can do it, do it. Well worth it.

The Helicopter Line was the second company I approached for one seat on a heli trip to Milford Sound. There had been poor weather the day before. Whilst my first choice was not available, the communication around what was possible was excellent, prompt, and helpful, and this resulted in a wonderful trip to Milford Sound. At one stage I got an email to call the team, but with one week away I wasn't on phone roaming so this wasn't possible, please consider this as not always the best form of communication. Any mode that uses data (I had a data eSim and regular WiFi as well) would be better if voice interactions are necessary eg. WhatsApp. Otherwise, emailing is suitable and the staff doing the organising were so prompt that it didn't need a phone call. I loved the trip, excellent value. And the way we were escorted from the helipad, immediately into a minibus that was ready, and onto a boat was great. The smaller sized boat was excellent, and the captain/commentator was fabulous. As a bonus, we did a snow landing which was so fabulous, and had a pilot that was more than willing to take our phones and snap some shots of us deliriously happy. Would be my first recommendation to family and friends for Queenstown heli operators due to the ease of communication and quality of the day.

Brilliant adventure to the top of the Jura Glacier. Our pilot, Bill provided a great commentary both on our journey and flying. This isn’t a cheap trip but you do get what you pay for! I thoroughly recommend it. Woohoo!

We had 6 people today and had Danny and Rich as our pilots. They were both really lovely, knowledgeable and did an amazing job of making sure we all were safe and enjoyed our flights. The views were second to none. Would highly recommend them.

I cannot rate this highly enough was a beautiful day and the flights / pilot , whole experience was amazing. I will certainly to it again when I am next in Queenstown the views were amazing , glaciers incredible and the pilot was fun.Its a MUST do for sure worth every penny.

We loved this great flight, views and information about the are. This was our 2nd helicopter flight and we will do more. Such a different view of things. I was a kid again. Snow angle and all.

This was one of the best experiences we have ever done as a family. We did the "pilot's choice 20 min" and it was plenty of time for us with 3 kids, our pilot Jono was fantastic and we got amazing photos on the top of a snow patch of Mt Cecil. Highly recommend this for everyone.
