Not enough time. Managed 3 wineries but felt rushed.

Arrived at the 4th just in time for our 4:30 pickup , however no flexibility to allow us to do our final tasting.

The wineries close at 5pm, so seems strange to have a 4:30 pickup. The extra 30 mins would have made a huge difference and would have allowed us to squeeze in our last tasting.

Do not book the half day and expect to get through the entire Gibston Valley.

The E bikes however we highly recommend as a way to experience the wineries but you need more time than what this package offers.

Always take the time to go to Chard Farm, great location, building, people and wine. A very personalised experience. I think

Hi Tad, we understand your feedback - and we do have a full day and a 3/4 day Bike The Wineries options as well. The 1/2 day is designed for people with busy holiday itineraries and will usually only allow time to visit 3 wineries, so you did well to make it to Chard Farm and get the whole way along the wine region. Our pick up times are set as it's not fair to keep other customers waiting who run to the times indicated when you book. Pleased to hear you enjoyed everything else and hopefully we may see you back on either our 3/4 or full day Bike The Wineries rides. Cheers Lisa.

We have lived in Queenstown for 4 years, and today was the first time we biked the wineries in the Gibbston Valley, and we can't believe we have waited so long to do this! This is truly one of the best day trips to do while visiting Queenstown. Our driver, Hywel was lovely and made it super easy. We took his advice and made our first stop at Gibbston Valley for lunch, we then biked to Periguine for a tasting, followed by another tasting at Kinross. We didn't feel rushed at all and an extra bonus was that any wine we purchased was left at the winery for Hywel to pick up for us so we didn't have to carry it. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Fantastic activity for all ages and fitness levels. We hired e bikes which were very easy to use and gave us the freedom to explore the wineries in the Gibbston valley without too much effort. We were able to fast at three wineries and enjoy lunch at one, next time we would probably do the 3/4 day trip so we could spend more time at each one.
Thoroughly recommend doing this !

Called up and the lady was so lovely on the phone and we got in last minute. We got picked up in town which was amazing. Hamish was a great, safe, and informative driver. He helped us sort out our bikes and gave us tips on how to have the best day exploring the wineries. Such kind people and the most fun day! Thank you guys for being a great company that allows us to have such a great unique experience in the Gibbston Valley! 400 stars!

We had a fantastic half day cycling tour. Our tour guide was fantastic, friendly and very helpful with recommendations of wineries to visit. Although not all wineries were open due to the effects of covid there were so many in the region we still had plenty of options. The bikes were in excellent condition and we loved the service of being picked up and our tour guide was nice enough to drop us at the gondola after our day, he definitely went above and beyond with customer service! Would definitely recommend and we will be back again!

Very friendly and professional. Pickup right on time, driver Steve was so informative and funny. Bikes fitted and off we went. We had the e bike so we could get to all the wineries. Loved them. still have to pedal and get the exercise but can look around and enjoy beautiful scenery. Everyone we interacted with was accommodating and readily shares stories. Great day. Highly recommend.
