Overview
Take in the vast scale of Milford Sound from the air and water with a half-day trip that includes round-trip flights and a catamaran cruise. You’ll board a small plane that accommodates up to 7 passengers, lift off above the ridges and lakes of Fjordland National Park, then cruise Milford Sound all the way to the Tasman Sea. Watch for fur seals and penguins, and pass through the mists of Stirling Falls before meeting the pilot for the return trip to Queenstown.
What to Expect

Get ready for a unique and personal experience! Unlike many other Queenstown operators, our flights take our customers via the glaciers of the Darren Mountains and Barrier Range. This allows you to take in all the beautiful surroundings whilst enjoying extra fly time to let it all sink in.

Once you land in Milford Sound, your pilot will organize your transport from the airport to the boat terminal. You will then be directed to the according vessel for an unforgettable cruise around the stunning Milford Sound.

The cruise travels the length of the Fiord and out to the Tasman Sea whilst stopping at waterfalls and points of interest. These include extensive wildlife such as seal colonies, rare birdlife and dolphins that love playing in the waves of the catamaran!

After your cruise, your pilot will be waiting for you at the boat terminal to accompany you back to the airport for your return scenic flight to Queenstown.

All seats aboard our aircraft are window seats and your pilot will provide an interesting and informative commentary.

(Routes can be weather dependant and may vary at the pilots discretion).
