        Wine and Wild Coast Tour
We had a fantastic experience on Zozo Travel's Wine and Wild Coast tour! From start to finish, the day was packed with a wide variety of activities that made it truly memorable. We reall enjoyed the wine tasting at Poppies Vineyard, where we sampled some exquisite wines, paired perfectly with a delicious lunch. The cheese and chocolate tasting was another highlight—each offering was a treat for the senses, and the variety kept things interesting. The views on the journey were breathtaking, especially when we arrived at the Cape Palliser Lighthouse. The lighthouse perched on the dramatic coastline was simply stunning. Our guide, Phil, was exceptional—his knowledge of the local area and its history was impressive, and his friendly, engaging personality made the day so enjoyable. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and having a great time. I highly recommend this tour !

Coast to Cave and so much in between!
Our guide was Gary and he was great. Many good sites that we would not have seen otherwise (like the wind turbine!). Lunch at the Chocolate Fish was a nice touch. Since it was juat the two of us on the tour that day, Gary amended the route slightly for us since we had already been up the cable car (thank you Gary!). Would recommend the tour: good value for money!

        Very enjoyable experience
It was a very nice way to visit the vineyards with a small group of people. We visited three very pleasant vineyards and had a good lunch at the second.

Excellent trip! Michael was a conscientious, knowledgeable, and fun driver and guide. The three wineries we visited were excellent opportunities to experience New Zealand wines-beautiful locations and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

        Great wine & scenic tour
Mia was fantastic organising extra tickets for the tour and could not of been more helpful. Mike was great - cracked a few kiwi Aussie jokes that set the scene for day. The wineries were really great, lovely settings and scenery and best of all superb wines - cannot fault tour!

        A great experience
A great wine tour. Very knowledgeable guide who was friendly and good fun. We had tastings at three vineyards and one included gin tasting. The lunch (not included in the price) was delicious and in fabulous surroundings overlooking a vineyard. I left my glasses on the bus and they were returned to me the next day. The operator went out of their way to accommodate us. Highly recommended.

        A fabulous day.
We had a fantastic day. They wines at the 3 wineries we visited were delicious and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Lunch at the final stop was also delicious. The accompanying thunderstorm just added to our enjoyment of the day. Highly recommended.

Great Tour with a Great Guide in Wellington, NZ
When our cruise ship docked in Wellington last month, my husband and I took this tour with Zozo Travel, booked via Viator before leaving home. Mia from Zozo Travel was very helpful with the instruction on where to meet. Gary was our driver and guide for the day. He picked us up at the port and other people from several hotels. There were eight of us in the van. We covered all the places listed on the itinerary. It was a lot of areas to cover in a limited amount of time, so we sat in a van a lot, but the scenery was beautiful. Also, despite the tour name, there was actually no “cave” visit, but a visit to Weta Cave Workshop – a souvenir shop for Lord of the Ring aficionados. Our favorite stop was the included lunch at the Chocolate Fish Café at a beautiful seaside location. It was very crowded, but a table was set aside for our group. Each person gets a drink and a main from the menu. While the food was average, service and ambiance were great! Gary got us back to the port in a timely manner. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Wellington!

        Mike knows the best people!
What a fun day with 8 other travelers and Mike, our Fearless Leader and Driver! I truly want to thank Mia for helping me to make a reservation on a day when this trip was definitely going! The whole day was paced at just the right level. Stops, walks, tastings and meals were all top-notch. I will never forgive Mike for enticing me to climb the 252 steps to the lighthouse - my legs are still killing me today! - BUT it was totally worth the view! Also, the fact that the gentleman who owns The Lake Ferry Hotel and Pub we had dinner at - he must think a lot of Zozo Travel to agree to open the restaurant JUST for our group! A very cordial host and one hell of a cook! We also saw seals up close- basking on the rocks, the pups playing with each other and mom or testing out their new skills and having fun in the water. I couldn't stop taking pictures - so damn cute!

        Excellent wine tasting tour!
This wine tour was excellent. Small group of us. Comfortable van with Simon at the helm. He was so knowledgeable about not only the area but of the wine area specifically. All 3 vineyards were good - Helen led the first tasting - she knows her stuff and is passionate about it. The second stop was more about the lunch offerings. The wait staff were just okay. Not terribly friendly. The third stop with Georgia guiding the tasting was very good. I would recommend this tour highly. Especially as this is not as busy of a wine area as Marlborough and the wines were very good. A bonus - the first stop included a Gin tasting too.

Excellent tour! Guide Michael good fun and very informative. Made everyone feel welcome and included. Enjoyed the wineries..each quite different. The lunch (pay for your own) was delicious. Glad we had time to stop for cheese on way back…and thanks for blue monkey recommendation! I’d eat that all day if I could!

        Delicious Educational Fun!
We loved touring the Olivo olive grove and sampling the award-winning olive oils. The vineyard tour, wine tastings, and farm-to-table lunch were all excellent. We also enjoyed the chocolate tasting and cheese tasting. Each host was enthusiastic and eager to share about their craft. You will see spectacular mountain scenery on the drive into Martinborough! Our Zozo Travel host and guide Phil is extremely knowledgeable about New Zealand, shared his knowledge freely, and answered all our many questions. The tour was not rushed and moved at a very relaxed pace. We learned a lot and enjoyed his company! We highly recommend this tour with Zozo Travel.

The tour was amazing. Our guide Phil was extremely knowledgeable about the area and we had an absolute blast on our trip in Wellington. As we had limited time in the city, we had opted for the half day tour but after our tour we wished we had taken the full day tour instead. Couldn't recommend Zozo Travel enough !

We had a fabulous tour, and our guide Steve couldn’t have been better company or more helpful! The Mercedes mini bus was so comfortable and gave us great views over the Remutakas, with plenty of room to store our purchases (cheese, wine, olive oil and chocolate!). Lunch and wine tasting at Moy Hall winery was a real highlight. The whole booking experience and communication before the tour was also brilliant, and we arranged picking up our friend in Featherston with ease. They were also lovely and helpful when one of our friends unfortunately fell I’ll a few days before the tour and had to drop out. Totally recommend this tour! Thanks Phil & Steve!

What a magnificent day! Michael, our host and driver, made us feel so welcome. He knew his stuff, and how to handle the van over the mountain roads without scaring anyone :) Can't speak highly enough of Zozo, Moy Hall Winery, Poppies Winery, C'est Cheese and Schoc Chocolates. So glad we decided to do this tour!

This excursion was a blast. Phil was very good at pointing out things and giving the history and still having a sense of humor. Great stops for cheese (so so yummy) and chocolate (even though he made me try a pepper one ). He accommodated the group splitting us to two wineries but it was seamless. He was also punctual which was important since we were on a cruise timetable

It was a nice day out with C'est Cheese and Moy Hall Wines being my favourite stops. Had a lovely Porchetta for lunch at the winery which was cooked beautifully. I was disappointed that the 4th stop in the town of Martinborough at the end didn't happen. It was supposed to be a 45min stop according to the itinerary but instead our driver just drove through the town.

That's not the case at all Iren! Your 4th stop happened as mentioned in your review! The tour covers cheese, chocolate and wine tastings and you opted for the extended lunch including the porchetta at the winery as your additional stop. This additional time could have been spent at the Town Square or Martinborough Sweet Shop instead of having the vineyard lunch as per discussion prior to the tour.

Even though I had no plans to visit Wellington, a tropical cyclone hitting my original destination in the Bay of Islands necessitated a last-minute change in destination and activities. I am thrilled to have found this delightful tour and experienced a wonderful day with Aaron, our fun and knowledgeable chef guide, and 9 other travelers as we sampled the outstanding cheeses at C’est Cheese, the amazing chocolates at Schoc, and exceptional wines and delicious lunch at Moy Hall. Aaron was full of information about the areas we traveled through as well as cheese making, chocolates, and the history of the vineyards in the area. Fun, educational and delicious day!!!

Great fun day with Phil, lots of information and stories of the region as you leave Wellington over the Rimutakas to Martinborough, Greytown for 5 hours of fun. Ours was a mixed tour as there was only 4 of us, we had the best of both tours; 3 wineries, cheese and chocolate.
Really enjoyed the fun chocolate tasting and of course the yummy cheese. Phil even had a cool bag that could store purchased goodies and keep fresh until the end of the tour. We visited boutique and large scale wineries which was an interesting mix. Phil was incredibly friendly and helpful - we would thoroughly recommend this tour, a wonderful informative and fun day.

This is a great tour! I wasn't able to book a spot on the all-day wine tour, and I'm actually glad that I booked this tour instead. It is a perfect combination of food and wine and the shorter time around 5-6 hours was perfect. Aaron is a great guide, providing information about the area, the wines, chocolates, food, etc. Our group had a great day! There were also a handful of solo travelers (myself included) and the group melded together quickly. This is another sign of Aaron being a good guide and getting everyone involved. Don't miss out!
