- djamesmith50 contributionsExcellent tripThis trip was excellent, very busy but we saw and tasted so much. Phil (guide) makes an entertaining and knowledgeable host ; we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Poppies wine and lunch were excellent and fish n chip tea was a fine end to a great day.Written 12 November 2024

- 757brucef0 contributionsExcellent tour with friendly knowledgeable local guideThe tour was amazing. Our guide Phil was extremely knowledgeable about the area and we had an absolute blast on our trip in Wellington. As we had limited time in the city, we had opted for the half day tour but after our tour we wished we had taken the full day tour instead. Couldn't recommend Zozo Travel enough !Written 31 October 2024
- Travellingisliving830 contributionsGreat company, excellent guides! A fantastic day out!I did 2 tours with Zozo. One around Wellington and the coastline with Gary on one day, and the half day Martinborough wine tour with Michael. I had so much fun both days, and they are both great guides. Lots of fun, very informative, interesting commentary and safe drivers. I loved hearing their stories. Our buses had a fantastic time. As a solo traveller I often do day tours, and these are very reasonably priced, and a good day out. Highly recommend :)Written 28 October 2024
- D3104GBiane0 contributionsPinot heaven! Our guide Simon was knowledgeable and fun. The scenery on the journey to Martinborough was stunning. The three wineries were all very different and the place we stopped for lunch served delicious and plentiful foodWritten 19 October 2024
- Sue C0 contributionsWhat a day! This was the best value for money tour I have ever experienced. Fabulous and knowledgeable guide Simon, was a delight and only too happy to go above and beyond. Three winery stops, amazing lunch at Moy Hall - the food was to die for - and learned so much from the local hosts. Loved the humerous antidotes. Very much recommend.Written 16 October 2024
- geoffandboby0 contributionsMartinborough excellenceWe had a great day out. Simon our driver was knowledgeable and friendly. Moy hall where we had lunch, the food was excellent however the wine tasting got a bit lost and I felt it was rushed in between the food. But the food made it worthwhile. Simon added an extra of coffee at a cheese shop which was very pleasing. A great day in all and worth the $ as it’s not an easy drive over the rimutaka’sWritten 13 October 2024
- iangK7065SS0 contributionsBest way to spend a day in Martinborough out of WellingtonWhat a magnificent day! Michael, our host and driver, made us feel so welcome. He knew his stuff, and how to handle the van over the mountain roads without scaring anyone :) Can't speak highly enough of Zozo, Moy Hall Winery, Poppies Winery, C'est Cheese and Schoc Chocolates. So glad we decided to do this tour!Written 13 October 2024
- 243raewyng0 contributionsABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!What a fabulous day had by all! Our group of 19 ( 2 x Chartered Vans) loved their experience from tasting award winning cheeses , boutique wine tasting , sampling the local olive oils & blind chocolate tasting! A very professional company & Phil was a pleasure to deal with. Totally recommend. Raewyn from World Travellers Whangarei.Written 8 October 2024
- A6449EJgracec0 contributionsEasy and niceA small group, all nice people, safe drive, a good tour. Efficiently organised, worthy to do it. I would recommend booking this.Written 8 October 2024
- Alana M0 contributionsGreat views, great wine, and great company!!!We had the absolute pleasure of joining the Wine and Wild Coast tour, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. From the moment we set off, we were captivated by the stunning scenery and the warm hospitality of our guide, Phil. The tour itself was a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. We explored the picturesque vineyards of Martinborough, sampling a variety of delicious wines, chocolates and cheese. Lunch at Poppies was amazing! Phil's knowledge and passion for the region were evident, making each stop even more enjoyable. The rugged cliffs, and the iconic Cape Palliser lighthouse were simply breathtaking. Phil's insights into the local history and culture added an extra layer of depth to the experience. Phil was friendly, informative, accommodating and always went the extra mile to ensure we had a fantastic time. If you're looking for a day filled with stunning scenery, delicious wine, and unforgettable experiences, we highly recommend the Wine and Wild Coast tour. It's a must-do for anyone visiting Wellington. The 6 crazy Aussies and the Kiwi.Written 5 October 2024

Aaron was a spectacular guide who gave such interesting background information about the sites and places we visited. His enthusiasm about his home town came through as he told little stories of recent and distant history. A great day!

Our driver was Aaron and he was prompt in picking us up pier side from our cruise. He was extremely knowledgeable about this area since he grew up here and he knew the best fish restaurant around to take us to for lunch. He knew all the history of every site we saw and made sure we saw all of the important landmarks here. He was funny and friendly and we were all very satisfied with this trip and company.

We loved this comprehensive tour of Wellington! Phil was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable and accommodating to traveler interests. He thoughtfully dropped us at the National Museum at the end of the tour (rather than the designated location). If you want a great day visiting the variety of main attractions in Wellington, highly recommend!

Everything about the tour was wonderful. Our tour guide was Aaron. He was knowledgeable, helpful and informative. He was very good at keeping us on schedule yet giving us sufficient time for each activity.
The van was comfortable and the restaurant for lunch was fun with very fresh seafood.
We will leave feeling like we really got to know Wellington.
Thank you Aaron.

This small group tour was the perfect way to see the sites of Wellington in a tight schedule (cruise ship stop). We had panorama views from Mount Victoria, then drove past the airport to the rugged coastline, around and through the city (including stops at Weto Cave, Old St. Paul's Church and Government House/ the Hive). Lunch at Chocolate Fish was an unexpected delight! Our guide Steve was knowledgeable about the area and an excellent driver.

This was our first trip to New Zealand and we wanted to learn about Wellington. Michael was a warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable guide. From the initial stops around the city, to the Weta shop, to the amazing views at the bays and mountain tops… it was wonderful to see Wellington from so many vantage points. Lunch was comfortable and un-rushed. Ending with the botanical gardens seemed like just the right way to end the tour. The length of the tour was just right. I highly recommend this tour for visitors.

A very enjoyable day trip visiting lookouts to give you a idea of the city layout and various architectural buildings. Steve was very informative. The only trouble was that at times he was hard to hear. But other wise well done to all involved.
