Great tour from Maori perspective
Great comfortable bus and Sophia was awesome. We saw so many pretty views from many high spots. Lunch at the cafe was just OK. Pickup to/from hotel was perfect.

On our Auckland Maori Luxury Tour and Cultural Performance, our manuhiri (guests) get to see the very best sights of Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) and the wild West Coast with an indigenous guide plus experience the Polynesian Galleries and Maori Cultural Performance at Auckland Museum. We consider this to be a wonderful way to spend a day in Auckland, incorporating sightseeing of both stunning Auckland City and our glorious West Coast, while on top of that learning lots about our fascinating indigenous Maori culture. We're delighted you agree that it was a great way to spend the day and want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to write this review! Neill & Ceillhe Sperath

The Perfect Introduction to the Maori Culture & Auckland Sites
Jan. 2020
On this tour we were escorted by an indigenous guide, visited some ancient volcanoes, Piha and its black sand beach, Karekare waterfalls, and the Auckland War Museum. Time was also taken for tasting some local food items, and to enjoy the wonderful personalities of those on the tour. The outdoor lunch near the botanical gardens was also an excellent touch.

Words cannot express how much we loved this tour. Keri was amazing she is so knowledgeable and told us everything. She could answer every question we had. I could rave about the tour all day. Bazil was great also taking photos for us and telling us more information when Keri was organising our tickets or lunch. This is definitely a must do tour when in Auckland. Thanks Keri and Bazil for a great day.

Fabulous Day!!
Jul. 2019 • Family
Super enjoyable day with our tour guide Keri. She was so informative about everything we saw and about Maori culture. We went everywhere we had planned to visit and didn't have to drive (she was a great driver). Rainforest, beaches, museum, cultural performance and a fabulous lunch. Couldn't have gone any better. Definitely worth the time and money.

AMAZING!!!!!!
Jun. 2019 • Couples
This tour was absolutely amazing!! Loved every minute of it! Our tour guide (Sofia) was unbelievable!! She truly knew the city like the back of her hand. She knew how to avoid high traffic areas in order to get us to places on time. She drove us to a VERY majestic waterfall that was gorgeous! Sofia encouraged us to take photos with the cultural performers (they looked very intimidating), which we are glad we did because now we can remember how they tattooed there faces and the event! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and would do again in a heart beat just to see Sofia again!

Half Day Tour of Aukland
May 2019 • Couples
We had a wonderful introduction into the beautiful city of Aukland. Our tour guide Sofia drove us to Mount Eden. We enjoyed the breathtaking 360* views of the city, the quaint towns of Parnell, Devonport, the habour, beaches and so much more.
Sofia shared her love for her country, it’s history and insights into Maori culture and European influences upon New Zealand. Highly recommend taking this tour.

Great tour. Wonderful guides.

Sofia, Gazza, and Hinauri.
All three of our guides were phenomenal. Their knowledge and personal cultural insight was extraordinary. Sophia, our driver was very warm, helpful and justifiably proud of New Zealand. She is also a very prolific and respected artist. Gazza was a very cheerful character, always pleasant and a wealth of information about the Maori. His Mauri greeting was heartwarming. Hinauri was our guide for the Maori Museum and was very personable and informative. I can highly recommend this tour and give many thanks all around.

Great tour with lots of information
Feb. 2019 • Couples
Our driver Peter and guide Gazza (his short name because we couldn't pronounce or remember his full Maori name!) were delightful and so full of information and fun. Some wonderful chowder at the Platter for lunch and wonderful sights including great seats at the Maori performance. wish we had had time in auckland to tour the museum. But we saw a lot!!!

Great Introduction to Auckland area and New Zealand
This tour was amazing! The tour group was small and allowed for a very personalized tour. What made this tour one of the best we have been on in our 40 years of travel was the personal touch of Sofia the guide. She was generous in sharing her culture with us including some Maori snacks. Her vivacious personality kept the tour very entertaining throughout. It was great to hear the history and current culture of Auckland from such a knowledgeable guide while visiting several sites surrounding the Auckland area. Some of the notable areas we visited was the west coast beach, a rain forest, a waterfall, several historical sites and of course the museum with the cultural performance. The fact that some of the magnificent pieces in the museum could be directly linked to the tour company owners ancestry just made us feel more connected to the beginnings of New Zealand. Great way to start our visit to New Zealand.
