About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- B8333EPjordant0 contributionsAwesome app and tour!Having never been to the Pinnacles before, I was really excited to test this app out as someone who doesnt really enjoy crowded bus tours. I loved that the digital tour guide would give us some funny facts and information on landmarks as we drove by. It was super convenient as well as we could stop off where we wanted whenever for some down time, and then when we pop back on route the tour guide would pop up again. Loved the experience and would highly recommend to anyone!Written 18 November 2024
- 269rowanp0 contributionsSay, PINNACLESWas nice to be able to drive and just get out when we want. Would work well in Summer too, can still see the Pinaccles but don’t have to cook in the sun.Written 17 November 2024
- A565CUjillh0 contributionsSomething different in PerthMy partner and I were visiting from Brisbane and wanted something different to do in Perth. The boom and bust was awesome. Riley made us laugh with local trivia and dad jokes while taking us through Perth’s fascinating economic ups and downs. Loved learning about how much the city’s changed over the years.Written 17 October 2024
- kimhW4590WC0 contributionsOk if you cannot get to an in-person tourThe tour was ok as an overview however I found it very unhelpful to have long periods of silence. I know this is self-guided but if the narration could follow somewhat as you are walking like an in-person guide would, that would make the tour more interesting. An in-person guide would point things out along the walk between the primary points of interest. This makes a tour more interesting. It would have also been nice to have some navigation direction as you were walking from one point to the next.Written 30 July 2024
- marikag5280 contributionssomething different to doFantastic interesting content, great idea for something different to do. Loved it. Would be great to see more routes - love learning about the City and history.Written 22 August 2023
- Jo R0 contributionsA lovely way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon.I completed the self guided walk with a bunch of girlfriends. It was surprising how much history about the city we all live in that we didn’t know! We stopped off along the way for a drink at Petition and continued on to finish water side at The Reveley. A great day out!Written 22 August 2023

Perth CBD: WA Enterprising Women. Female trailblazers: self-guided women's history tour of Perth FANTASTIC! *****
I just finished with a group of friends.
So Awesome to be a local tourist. App is designed really well. Even some virtual reality stuff too!
I love how it’s designed by a perth business woman who loves her job and history!
The Information about the women was interesting. I’m originally from Perth and had NO IDEA about any of this history. Not too much information or too little information.
Enough interaction within the app and you can even Re listen to your tour afterwards.
Walk at your own speed and take a break for lunch or dinner whenever you want. A tour you can take anytime of the day!
I’m buying gift certificates for Christmas & Birthday for sure from their website (darkstry).
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Up next another tour I think!

What a great walk through! Walking through my home city with new eyes and new experience. Hearing the amazing efforts of women who have left a mark on Perth history from brothel owners, through to politicians and indigenous artists.
