          Excellent day tour
Booked a Pinnacles day tour for two of us and had the most wonderful day with Sylvia. She picked us up at our Fremantle hotel in her new Land Rover at 7.30 and we had a full day of amazing experiences. Sylvia is a font of information about WA and the locations travelling up towards the Pinnacles. She pointed out interesting features that we would have missed on our own and never hesitated to answer our questions. We had an excellent coffee en route at Wendy’s and then an amazing visit to the Pinnacles. Unlike larger vehicles, she was able to drive through the park, and we stopped frequently for photographs and to experience these incredible phenomena. She was a good and careful driver and the vehicle was comfortable even for my elderly companion. We had a feast at the Lobster Shack in Cervantes and then visited Lake Thetis and its Stromatolites. The journey home was very pleasant with good conversation and a comfort stop en route. This was well worth the money for a brilliant day out. Thank you Sylvia 😁

Seven day wildflower hot spot tour . A trip that met all our expectations for scenery and wildflowers.
We embarked on this trip with two mains aims. One was to see the coastal scenery of south west Western Australia and the second was to see the wildflowers in season in Western Australia. The Luxury Outback Tour with Sylvia Mills met our aims admirably. Sylvia, who grew up on a farm in Esperance had an in depth knowledge of the geography of the area and also of the horticulture and was able to take us to many off the beaten track locations for special flowers and special views. As an added bonus Sylvia also introduced us to some of the excellent wines now being grown in that area. We are thankful to Sylvia for giving us such a wonderful experience.

          OK, but room for improvement.
Sorry about this, but please see this as constructive advise. We did a 4-day tour, Albany / Margaret River at substantial cost. I would have given a 4 star rating, but do not think that this tour should be called "Luxury", but more "Personalised". Thx for your effort Sylvia. We had a good time and saw and learnt a lot on these 4 days. Some of the lunches were not good and should have been planned better. Some were brilliant! Accommodation was good to excellent, but just what I would have chosen, and not be called "luxury" (bespoke). I am giving a 3 star rating due to your driving skills which are SERIOUSLY lacking. You drive too fast and aggressive. Speed limits are not a target! You ACCELLERATE to get to the "target" and slam on brakes to get down to the lower "target". Your skills going around corners are shocking...jerk, jerk, jerk rather than smoothly... You charge into a corner, then slam on the brakes nearly coming to a stop, then realise you are too slow, and accelerate again... The part of taking people on tours is for them to relax and enjoy the trip, especially taken into consideration that driving your guests is a large part of the service you provide. This was absolutely NOT a good experience and you should consider not doing this any more.

          Great Day Trip from Perth
Sylvia took me and two others on a magical day trip outside of Perth. We climbed the sand dunes, spent time in the Pinnacles in Numbung National Park, and saw our most ancient life-form ancestors, the stromatolites and thrombolites. Sylvia explained it all. A beautiful tour. Highly recommended. (And she's a good driver, too.)

          Brilliant couple of days
We were expecting a shared trip to the pinnacles, but Sylvia took just us. We stopped at Wendy’s for morning coffee, excellent place, brilliant biscuits and cakes, I could have stayed all day there. Then off to the Pinnacles, wow, what a place, it was extremely hot there that day, 32 degrees, but could have been more and it was later that week. Sylvia guided us around them, stopping for photos and telling us the best spots. Loads of useful information about Perth and the surrounding areas too. We called in at the shop, usual tourist stuff plus some beautiful glass ware. Prices not to bad either. Stopped again for dinner, lovely diner, good choice on menu, and location outstanding. We couldn’t sit outside as it was so busy but the view, well we were literally on the beach…….. All in all we had a great day, and we’re lucky enough to have Sylvia again the following day, where once again we were treated to an amazing Italian lunch. Very professional, good for banter, easy to get along with, and very conscious of your safety 10/10

          Tiptoe through the orchids
Sylvia showed myself and 3 friends around the outskirts of Perth on a wildflower tour that left us all with lasting memories. We saw 7 different types of orchids which would never have been found on our own, plus a multitude of other wildflowers and covered some very scenic countryside as far up as New Norcia. Very thankful for her knowledge and ability to zero in on the exact places to find such a variety of wildflowers for the time of year we were travelling. Highly recommend doing one of these tours with Sylvia. She definitely knows how to give you a great day out.

A Day At New Norcia WA
Thanks Sylvia for a wonderful tour of New Norcia from myself and Kay. You were very knowledge, easy to get along with, you made us feel welcome. Morning tea and lunch was lovely and the tour of New Norcia was spectacular, very knowledge guide. We even appreciated the little extra you added onto the tour at the end, all those old cars we saw on our way home. As the saying goes, time fly's when you are having fun 🙂 Luxury Outback Tours is highly recommended, we will be doing another tour with Sylvia in the future.

Stunning wild flowers, countryside, beaches & even whales, with the most experienced & personable guide Sylvia!
Fabulous wildflowers, countryside, beaches & even whales on my 7 day tour with Sylvia my excellent guide & owner of Luxury Outback Tours. We left Perth at 7.00am on a Wednesday morning & our wonderful journey began. So many interesting stops off the main roads & beautiful flowers to be seen in spots I am sure only Sylvia knows. Lots of fascinating towns from Katanning to Esperance , Bremer Bay & Albany & back to Perth. Every day another fascinating adventure. Luxury stays at the Mill in Katanning & the Beach House in Albany. Authentic Aussie Motels in small towns with generous Aussie welcoming hospitality & great pub food. The breakfast at the Beach House equal to anything I have experienced at the best 5 star hotels of the world. Sylvia is a highly skilled & experienced guide, you wont find anyone more knowledgeable, amiable & interesting offering a new surprise everyday! I will be back next year for another exciting adventure.

          Outstanding day with Sylvia
My wife picked this tour for her 60th Birthday treat and treat it was. We were picked up and along with four others set off for the Pinnacles. We stopped half way for coffee and cakes. Sylvia was utterly professional and extremely knowledgeable and filled the journey with interesting facts. The Pinnacles are awsome, however I'm not sure if it was the time of year, but the flies were dreadful. Fortunately we had the sense to buy nets in the visitor centre. After a wonderful guided tour through the Pinnacles we stopped closeby at Cevantes Pinnacles Motel for lunch. The lunch was one of the best we experienced in WA. We then moved on again to see Lake Thetis and on to the Strometolites. After all this fun we set off back to Perth with a quick toilet stop. The day was quite long from 0730 to 1700, but we kept swapping seats to share lessor legroom. As the company logo says "Luxury Outback Tours" and that is exactly what we got, a truely memorable day!

          Amazing natural wonder.
We were collected by Land Rover at 7.30 am along with 4 other people and drove northwards. We stopped for coffee before arriving at the Pinnacles where we had time to walk amongst them and take lots of photos. Afterwards we drove to Cervantes where we had a very good lunch at the motel. Finally we drove to see the stromatolites and also stop on a beach for a paddle. We arrived back in Perth at 5pm

          Personal and professional
We were treated to a wonderful day touring the Pinnacles. We were the only couple in a 4wd Land Rover and had the owner Sylvia all to ourselves. Sylvia is very knowledgable and passionate about western Australia and everything Australian. It was a great day where we learned new things and saw many of what nature has to offer. The two venues where we had morning coffee and the restaurant for lunch were very good and we appreciated the wonderful Australian hospitality throughout our day. Thank you Sylvia for a special day.

Perth, Cottesloe, Fremantle and Swan River Tuesday, January 21, 2020
A spectacular tour with an exceptionally knowledgeable tour guide aka SYLVIA MILLS began at 8:30 AM. We saw so much on both sides of the Swan River. King’s Park & the botanical gardens was wonderful. The State War Memorial was very impressive. Lunch was spectacular overlooking the Indian Ocean. Best fish & chips I think I’ve ever enjoyed & we live on the Atlantic Ocean in NH, USA! In the afternoon we toured Fremantle. We especially enjoyed the memorial displaying artifacts from both World Wars. At the Barbour we boarded the ferry for a cruise back to Perth. The commentary was great as was the wine tasting! Sylvia met us at the other end and delivered us back to our hotel.

An amazing experience to the Pinnacles
We were greeted early Sunday morning by Sylvia Mills to take us on an amazing day out. Sitting in the back seats of her Land Rover which we both found extremely comfortable, we then went to collect a further 3 people for our tour. Sylvia explained what we could expect from the day, offered us bottled water and set of on our journey. At all times Sylvia gave a very knowledgeable commentary which we could here clearly. We stopped for coffee and the group bonded very quickly, all from different countries and spoke different languages. Sylvia included everyone ensuring all understood. As we got closer to the Pinnacles, a superb explanation of history and surrounds was given. The Pinnacles were totally stunning, many pictures taken and a very kind emu decided to pass by us. Lunch was lovely then off for a quick stroll along the most stunning beach dipping our toes in the sea. Then off to see the stromatolites, extordinary sight. Sylvia knowledge of this area was remarkable. Excellent journey back home. An extremely interesting tour, excellent value for the money. I have no hesitation in recommending this lady and her tours to anyone. Thankyou Sylvia

          Brilliant
The ‘complete’ WA tour including a wonderful driver/guide (Sylvia herself), dirt roads, a flat tyre 2 hours from everywhere quickly sorted out, scenery beyond spectacular, accommodation from 5 star through to country motel and with glamping thrown in. Perth to Broome? Could not have asked for more. Thanks Sylvia.

WA Icons Tour - Mt Augustus and Dirk Hartog Island
We traveled as two couples from a family group to specifically visit Wooleen Station, Mount Augustus or Burringurah and Dirk Hartog Island. This was very much a remote area tour and therefore allowances need to be made for the fact that services are limited in these areas and distances are great. However each night, accommodation was clean and comfortable and Sylvia ensured that the best that was available was provided. The 4WD vehicle used is comfortable and set up for the conditions so the longer driving days are easily done. Sylvia is knowledgeable and our various hosts were passionate and informative about their areas of expertise. We had plenty of photo opportunities and rest stops as well as good food and company. Well worth doing and recommended.

While staying in Perth recently we booked a day touring Margaret River wineries with Luxury Outback Tours. Sylvia arrived at our hotel to pick us up at 7am, meanwhile we had only just realised that this would mean a six hour round trip! We asked Sylvia if it would be possible to tour the Swan Valley wineries instead and she very kindly agreed to this and came back to collect us at 9.30.

We had a lovely day in Sylvia’s company. She is very knowledgeable and knows all the local wineries. We visited three of them - John Kosovitch, a small family owned winery with a 100 year history, Olive Farm Wines established in 1829, and finally Sandalford’s where we had lunch (delicious shellfish risotto). It was a great day out and we would definitely recommend Luxury Outback Tours!

Our trip was a 1/2 day tour of the Swan Valley, with morning tea, visit to two wineries, and a visit to the chocolate factory (which also has preserves and wine).

I contacted Sylvia prior to the trip and asked if my Mum's walker could be taken with us in the car. I was told that this would be OK as long as the tour did not get fully booked, as it would have to be placed in the back seat (which was reasonable).

Mum and I were very happy with the tour - lovely morning tea with choice of drink (tea / coffee etc.) and choice of cake. As my Mum (90 years old) finds it difficult to walk up or down stairs or slopes, Sylvia checked with my Mum if the proposed venues would be accessible for her. The stops on the tour were enjoyable and we were not rushed at all. Sylvia was also considerate to my Mum, and this helped to make the 1/2 day special!
