Great experience. I was so nervous, never having done paddleboarding, but Gordon gave great instruction and I felt exhilarated at the end.

Having a lesson was with Gordon was a fabulous way to get started. An enjoyable hour spent on a SUP in a magical location.

Great introduction to paddleboarding for a beginner, very experienced instructor, and as a bonus the area is lovely: sheltered bays, swans to accompany you, and a nice cafe for after the paddle.

First time stand up paddle boarding and LOVED IT. Gordon is a fantastic teacher, very clear instructions and had myself and my son standing up and having fun in no time at all. Even taught us a couple of tricks which my son mastered after a few goes. Thanks Gordon, such a great experience which we will do again very soon I’m sure.

This was a great introduction to stand up paddle boarding! Gordon was a very patient and encouraging instructor. He gave very clear instructions before getting on the board and again when we were out on the water. I had a one on one lesson and learnt a lot.

Gordon is friendly and welcoming. Makes everything relaxed and simple to understand. I wasn't new to SUP, so he gave me some extra skills and tips to master. However, when I watched him with other customers who were new, I saw how quickly everyone managed to stand up and how to get lots of fun out of the experience. He focussed on safety and control, before letting anyone 'out of the pen'! What a great experience - whether for newbies or those of us who have SUP'd before. And what a fantastic location - million dollar views. Who needs a boat! :)

Fantastic introduction to SUP! Great location, easy to access and comfortable for any supporters / spectators who come with you. Gordon was an excellent coach, covering safety matters and the basics of SUP very clearly on land before launching us. Once on the water, he supported each of us according to individual needs and also giving us time and space just to practice and fall in on our own. Highly recommended!!

SUP lesson for 3. Was great fun in a beautiful safe setting at Matilda Bay. All keen to have another go, despite falling off into the water, which was lovely and cooling on a hot day.

We used our Wander Out Yonder voucher to book the 1hr lesson plus 30 minutes playtime for a family of four (2 teens). Gordon was very welcoming and gave good tuition before getting us into/onto the water. Two got the hang of it quickly while he gave his attention to the two who weren’t quite ‘duck to water’ candidates. It wasn’t long though before we were let loose and paddled almost 1km to the infamous Crawley Boat Shed. Very interesting from the non famous side! Managed to get there and back safely and within our allotted time. Only one returned sat on the board using it more as a canoe!!! That was fair though as it had been hard work into a headwind getting there. Would definitely recommend to others. Great way to make memories.
