- Oldjack0 contributionsArchitecturally Significant With HistoryThe Bell Tower is striking in design and prominent next to the Swan River and houses twelve bells St Martins in The Fields and designed to commemorate Australia's Bicentenary in 1988. Two other bells came from London and three donated by a mining consortium. Enjoy the interesting architecture.Written 12 September 2024
- Tour397369212590 contributionsThe Bell Tower is a hidden gem!Tony was an excellent guide. We greatly enjoyed his presentation on the bells and the ANZAC history. It was entertaining and ringing the bells was definitely fun! We didn't know what to expect of this tour but it was well above expectations! Recommend for all ages.Written 10 September 2024
- cheryl101980 contributionsRinging of the BellsTony was our guide on this very informative look at the bells in the Bell Tower. Our group was given the opportunity to ring the bells before going to the viewing platform to watch the ringing of the Anzac Bell. At the top level of the tower we were presented with a cetificate for bell ringing and a commemorative Perth Mint coin which we were able to get engraved for free at the Perth Mint. Thanks to the very friendly and personable staff who looked after us and shared their knowledge and experience. A great experience.Written 6 September 2024
- K3711NVcolins0 contributionsAwesome bell ring tourHighly recommend visiting the bell tower and especially join the bell ringing add on. This was such fun and our guide Howard was awesome. We did the joint Bell Tower and Perth Mint tour - both tours were great and was exceptionally good value for moneyWritten 24 August 2024

- 525kathrynb0 contributionsLoved the Bell Tower tourWe had a fabulous tour at the Bell Tower today. We chose the 11:30am Thursday tour to see the bell ringers in action, which was great, but the unexpected highlight was seeing the massive Anzac Bell toll at noon - it was amazing! Sylvia was our guide and she was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed having the chance to ring the bells ourselves and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Anzac medal included in this tour. Thoroughly recommend!Written 22 August 2024
- Sporti220 contributionsDepends on your guide1, people were still allowed to buy tickets and enter the 1:30pm session up to 8 minutes after the tour started. People had to stand as there wasn’t enough chairs set out. The person doing the tour advised they didn’t know a great deal about the tower, this was Indicative as the experience was extremely unorganised and the session had no cohesion. The tour guides English was terrible, inaudible and proceeded to talk in another language to other people on the tour. The bell ringing was a disaster, poorly organised and delivered.Written 11 August 2024
- samanthamA6736RE0 contributionsNowhere else can you be a bell chimes for a dayWhat an amazing experience to learn about the history of all 19 bells then have the opportunity to ring some of the bells from St Martin-in-the-fields London. Geoff is a very knowledgeable guide, and answered all of our questions. To hear the ANZAC bell chime at 12pm is a wonderful experience, followed by the real bell chimers.Written 24 July 2024

- 352abdulm0 contributionsAmazing Last Minute ExperienceThe experience to see and exploring the bell tower is one of a must do activity in Perth. Went to the place with family few days ago, the explanation after check-in to the reception desk was amazing. Thank you for your help and time for the team in The Bell Tower.Written 13 July 2024
- Gavin S0 contributionsBellChimingA full tour of the tower. Into the bellringers area to have a go at chiming the bells (not qualified to do any bell ringing) . Ventured upstairs (via the lift) to see the ANZAC bell in action. Witnessed the bells being rung by the bellringers. Great 360° view of the city from the observation area. All guided by a knowledgeable staff member. It was great.Written 7 July 2024
- R169ZDrossd0 contributionsA brilliant tourSuch a great tour today. Our guide “Geoff” was excellent. The children were really into it and everyone on the tour were invited to ring the bells and take photos. Really good value too. Be sure to book and arrive early. Friends of ours recently visited Perth, and raved about the Bell Tower and the Bell Tower Experience.
As you walk across the bridge, stop and look at the love locks, which you can purchase and have engraved while at the Tower.
6 levels with amazing views of Perth and the surrounds. Wonderful display of the history of the building, and a great view of the bells.
While there, we had the opportunity to have one of the experienced tour guides talk about the bells, and gave us a chance to ring the bells ourselves. Nice upper body workout with the effort to pull the ropes to get the bells to ring. And at the end of it all, we were given The Bellow Tower Certificate proving we chimed a bell at the Bell Tower. Great activity for all ages, certainly great for the kids.

It was great hearing about the history of the bells, how and when they came to Perth and being able to see them up close. Getting to ring the bells was very cool and the highlight of the tour. Our tour guide Howard was very knowledgeable, knew his stuff and entertained us through the tour. A great way to spend some time in this fabulous city.

Wow!! We just did the $18pp behind the scenes tour with tour guide Jeff. It was extremely interesting with loads of history connecting WA and England but not boring in any way. We spent the first half an hour before the tour started wandering around looking at the exhibits over 4 levels and the Perth views then did the half hour tour. We got to ring the bells!! This is the only place in the world where non bell ringers get to do this! Jeff was Avery engaging guide. Highly recommend this tour.

Went for the bell tower experience and was enthralled by the stories Howard told. He made the bells 🔔 mean more than just bells by sharing with us about how the bells came to be where they are and ending it off with the bell ringing. It really made the experience come to life… I honestly think it’s a must try in Perth!

The Bell Tower was especially built to house 18 bells. The bells came frrom Saint-Marttins-in-the Fields in London. You can get the lift to the top of the tower. It's a bit expensive, but not too bad. The bells ring out on special occasions. They are adjacent to Elizabeeth Quay, they are easy to find.

Thank you for your 5 star review of the Bell Tower and especially for leaving us a review while we are currently closed due to COVID-19. We really appreciate that!
That is great you enjoyed your experience. Not sure if you managed to do the tour, but in the tour we get our customers to ring the famous St.Martin-in-the-Fields bells. It's lots of fun!
We hope you can visit us again one day and stay safe during this time.

My first visit to Perth, at first I assumed this was just an observation deck. There are multi-level exhibits about the history of time, bells and their connections to various cultures. There is also an interactive tour where you can ring the bells. Great views on top of the observation deck.

A must do for everyone visiting Perth. The history of the bells in this modern Bell Tower is so interesting - the best part for us was trying our hand at being a "Bell Ringer" - lots of fun and definitely once off experience. A terrific inclusion for a holiday in Perth.

Thanks for the kind words and five star review! Did you know that the Bell Tower is the only place where you can chime bells without being an official bell-ringer? Thank you for your time in writing a review.

My Grandchildren and I loved our time at the Perth Bell Tower yesterday. We watched the Anzac Bell Chime at Midday, truely Awe —Inspiring!!!There we greeted long standing Bell Ringer Laura who taught Declan and his older brother how to Chime over the years since they were toddlers. We watched and listened to all the Bells Chiming as professional Bell Ringers rang out glorious medleys of chimes. My 12 year old Grandson Declan dreams of becoming a Professional Bell Ringer and after listening to Howard’s informative talk about the history of Perth Bells(scattered humour throughout was appreciated and uplifting)and also giving us all hands on experience of ringing a Bell our guide was able to give us information to guide Declan in the area of Training.Thankyou Howard!🌟

Thank you so much for your kind words, Laureen. It's always a pleasure to welcome you and Declan to the Tower, and Laura was so pleased to see you. I will be sure to pass on your praise to Howard as well.
As Declan is 12 years old now, he is more than welcome to join as a trainee bellringer. Drop us a message or email if you would like more information.

What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. The talk was excellent, and it was interesting to learn the history of the bells. Sylvia gave the talk, and was very knowledgeable and experienced. She made sure everyone had a chance to ring the bells and get lots of photos. The self-guided tour of the levels after the talk was fascinating, and the views were breathtaking. The kids had a great time and really enjoyed ringing the bells. Afterwards, we had lunch and coffee a short stroll away, at 'The Island', near Elizabeth Quay. I would highly recommend The Bell Tower Experience for locals and visitors. A family ticket was only $44, so it was a very enjoyable and reasonably-priced outing.
