About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Odyssey5208330 contributionsVery enjoyableStarting with the very friendly driver he gave us a lot of information and history about Swam Valley river Fantastic foodWritten 20 August 2024
- woowooSydney0 contributionsA non eventWe booked this cruise well in advance to ensure that it would fit into our schedule when visiting Perth. While we were there we received a call to say that the day we had booked was cancelled, asking us to rebook for the next day. Then we received another call to say that this cruise was also cancelled. So, we had to get a refund because there was no time to rebook. This is very disappointing because it was to be one of the highlights of our holiday. We were astounded that a reputable cruise company could cancel - twice! Especially after they had taken our booking. Disappointing.Written 2 July 2024
- Grazyfromgisy0 contributionsQuality of the wines very poorThe boat trip and platter was good, however the wine on the boat was not flash Lunch at the brewery was also good. But onto the first winery. The wine was not of a quality that one would hope on a tour showcasing Swan Valley wines. The tour guide described it as his favourite as it had the cheapest wines in the swan valley.!!!!!! The second winery was somewhat better. Overall if this tour showcase the Swan valley wines don’t drink them. Then the chocolate tasting. A very very small taste of 3 very small pieces of chocolate. Pretty much a tour of a Chocolate shop. The last stop was just an average bar for a drink and chips. No tasting. The concept of the trip has potential but the venues to be selected based on on Quality not priceWritten 24 May 2024
- R3972LSkathye0 contributionsLovely, relaxing day outWe had a fantastic day. The first coach driver was across his local history. The wineries were great - a different feel at each and staff who knew their wines. Lunch was delicious. The cruise back was the highlight - so relaxing, plenty to drink but the best part was the talented singer who entertained us for the last 20 or 30 minutes. She was awesome.Written 12 May 2024
- 3anned0 contributionsDisappointing ExperiencePretty disappointed with the trip overall. The cruise to swan valley was lovely with the exception of there not being enough morning muffins for our group. Perhaps this was down to other guests being overly greedy. Other than this there was plenty of food provided throughout the tour and it was all lovely. The main disappointment was with the actual wineries. Firstly I will say, it was not a ‘small group to ensure a personalised experience’ as advertised. There was easily 30 people at the wine tasting. The lady giving the tasting at the first winery was not particularly friendly and mumbled through a rough description of the wines before everyone rushed through tastings. The second winery was slightly better but again lacked that intimate experience and more detailed descriptions of what you were tasting. It also felt pretty rushed.Written 30 March 2024
- Camper010380612760 contributionsA must do experience. We had a fantastic day! The views the winery’s and the people we met along the way made it special. Keith our bus driver/guide was g8.Written 12 March 2024
- stephenlyth0 contributionsSuper Singa longThis is a wine cruise but it isn’t the wine tasting on the boat that makes it. Great Skipper and wonderful female staff in Jess and Lauren, who have fantastic voices and got the whole boat singing on the way back. Sandelford is truly amazing with great wines and a really pleasant lunch, we thoroughly enjoyed our day thanks to everyone involved. I’d have given a 5 star review if the wine on the boat was good but it was not and therein was a disappointment.Written 12 March 2024
- codymX7403NS0 contributionsWorth the money, great tourIt was an amazing trip with lots of great wineries(my fav was windy creek) and good food. Our bus driver(Micheal) was a great person to have us and take us around to all the great places and was quite knowledgeable and friendly as wellWritten 8 March 2024
- cleo54c0 contributionsTaste of the Swan Valley with WineWhat a great way to spend a day sitting back relaxing, enjoying the views, sampling wines, have cheese and bickies and having a splendid lunch. Took off from Perth and enjoyed the city skyline and beautiful landscape along the river. Lunch was at the Homestead Brewery and the meals were huge. After lunch off to Lancaster winery for some more wine tasting and cheese and then to the Margaret River Chocolate factory were you were in chocolate heaven. Back on board for more drinks and some fantastic singing by Aisha who has a great voice and entertained us as we sailed back to Perth. Highly recommend for a great days outingWritten 28 February 2024
- tashawesome0 contributionsTotally do it again!Great from start to finish. We took the indulgence package. The staff were amazing, the food, wine and cheese platters were faultless on the cruise. The only meh part was what was ordered for lunch, it stated chicken salad what was received was a bowl of spinach leaves and some chicken. Nothing else, no other salad in the bowl. There was so much to choose from at the chocolate factory I almost walked out with nothing bit like browsing Netflix, couldn’t choose. But sooo yummy. The entertainment on way home was perfect those girls know how to sing. All in all yes go on this cruise totally worth it.Written 22 February 2024
- kedge50 contributionsIdyllic day in the Swan ValleyWe had the most amazing day on this trip. I took my friend and her two girls who are on holiday from the UK. We started with a cruise on the Swan River followed by lunch at the Mandoon Estate. We then got on a bus and visited wineries, chocolate factory and a brewery. We were so well looked after with so much to eat and the opportunity for lots of tastings. Loved the different places we visited which were small, bespoke and gave fabulous service. The whole experience was enjoyed by everyone and I would definitely recommend.Written 21 February 2024
- markpT3351OO0 contributionsVery enjoyableThe half-day tour didn't start well as the bus missed picking us up in Guildford (we were at the appointed spot in good time) and by the time this was rectified we were already behind the rest of the tour at the first stop. However, we caught up the the tastings and really enjoyed the 3 contrasting vineyards we visited; one large, one smaller and one more rustic but all with some interesting and varied wines. Chatting to the staff in each venue was wonderful, as their passion for the products shone through. The supply of wines was plentiful with food accompaniments being offered also. The brewery and its beer was OK, but it would have been better to have seen the brewery itself not just a bar area. The chocolate stop was a bit pointless and some of the other guest spent their time in the distillery next door, which would have added value to the trip which was $90 per person and just about worth it. A really enjoyable afternoon was had though.Written 8 February 2024
- Alancountrydj0 contributionsWine and river tripThis was a trip of 6 parts, initially a coach trip (minibus) with a fantastic, funny and knowledgeable driver 5/5. Part two at the sandlford winery, brilliant wine presented by a brilliant guy, 5/5 Part 3 at the Lancaster winery, rushed through the tastings and the only info presented was, this is ....type of grape. The wine was excellent which helped the score 3/5 Part 4, lunch, excellent service, delicious food and a great accompanied wine, 5/5 Part 5, the Mandoon winery and cheese tasting, again the wine tasting was rushed with very little information and way too many people for the amount of cheese supplied 3/5 Part 6 , trip back on the Swan River, amazing journey, the wine flowed more than the river, ace crew, 5/5Written 29 January 2024

All wineries & brewery were excellent with great service & knowledgeable, served food with tastings, presented very well.
Chocolate venue waste of time & added nothing a time filler to afternoon, could have been left off & no one would have noticed. They gave nothing but a very small piece of 3 chocolates & that was it.

Wine tours were lovely. Really enjoyable the best part of the trip was the booze cruise back to Perth and then one of the crew members Lauren sang some songs she was absolutely amazing! Definitely worth a trip on this tour! Was such a surprise at the end she had us ready for a night out!

thoroughly enjoyed this tour, the only complaint if you don't like crowds and it was school holidays every winery was packed, and the chocolate factory even busier. Wine tasting was great, thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate tour, but the highlight was the cruise down the swan river perfect sunny afternoon so enjoyable, the afternoon tea inclusions was great along with the included wine selection, even the crew sang a few songs. Even if you are not a wine lover you will enjoy this day out

This tour was the highlight of our Perth holiday this year. Lucy, our driver/guide fussed over us ensuring our enjoyment to the fullest extent.
Each of the attractions visited was appropriate to the tour, and our group was all smiles.
The cruise down the Swan River was an ideal way to relax after our winery visits etc. Personally, we did not need to graze through the foods offered on the boat, nor the bar service.

2 winery stops were quite pleasant, the chocolate factory and providoor stop was very rushed and only had 20 mins to complete both, as a result did not get to have a look in the chocolate factory. This was dissapointing. The cruise back along the swan river was excellent with nice afternoon tea and great entertainment by the staff.

We got to sample a great selection of wines from Mandoon & Lancaster Wineries and sampled some very nice cheeses at Lancaster. We then went to Margaret River Chocolate Co, sampled and purchased some delicious liqueurs then over to the chocolate shop….so delicious.
The second part of our tour was a river cruise back to Perth where they served a lovely afternoon tea selection of cakes & fruit, tea & coffee. Once the bar opened, the party cranked up. Lots of chatting, laughing and then singing with the crew. It was such a great vibe and a joyous atmosphere. I highly recommend this tour.

What an awesome day! Great service very good value for money. Great entertainment on cruise as staff turned up a notch and boat came alive. We did get the incorrect pickup information but the wonderful Mike picked us up from train station. Free wine went down a treat.

Hi,
I am looking to book for two people in June - July 2021 for my partners parents who are visiting from Melbourne. I have seen that there is a free cancellation policy, but as we are not sure of the dates yet do you have any recommendations on booking this in for them? Is there a voucher we can get, or can we book a date and re-schedule without being charged?
Thanks,
Sinead
