About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 898kylief0 contributionsExploring BroomeAmazing experience. Everyone at Broome Aviation was wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable making the day really interesting. Although the weather was perfect, Mother Nature let us down with the horizontal falls not being too active but it didn’t dampen our spirits as it was still wonderful to see. Special shout out to our pilot Marius who made us all feel comfortable and safe throughout the scenic flight. We hope you win the beers mate! Also Terry and the team at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm put on a great lunch and informative tour. Would highly recommend.Written 9 March 2025
- BoardingPass1618940 contributionsBest pilot ever! Lovely flight! The tour was nice even so I was a bit disappointed by the weather. I was hoping for turquoise waters and red cliffs, but the sun refused to come out (wet season). The onluly day since we are here. When we booked, I had a feeling that we should have waited for antoher day, but it probably could have been the other way round as the weather is quite unpredictable atm. And we had more bad luck as our fist oyster at the pearlfarm was empty (but the second had a pearl and Noah let his sister take it out...broke my heart a little). Nevertheless the views were still beautiful and the flight was awesome, the pearlfarm was much better than any I've been to before. The best thing about the trip was the pilot George. What a lovely young man! He did his absolut best to make it a stunning experience, explained a lot, was lovely especially with the kids and very patient when they chattered on the headphones! With George by your side even the reluctant sun can't ruin the trip!!!! And the waterfalls surprised me! I thought we wouldn't have to go and see it, but as we went they were beautiful and even a little bit tuquoise! And George spotted a Dugong for us!!!!! A lovely flight experience!Written 31 January 2025
- toniaU4234RM0 contributionsEmbracing Broome in the wet season 😊Leisa was very accommodating picking us up from our accommodation and dropping us back to The Spinifex. Our pilot, Marius, was very informative and a great pilot. The view was next level! I have a better understanding of the work to grow a pearl!Written 29 January 2025
- Stephen R0 contributionsI love AustraliaWe found Marius to be a good Bloke and a great pilot even though he is from Canberra. Nailed the landings and was very informativeWritten 29 January 2025
- karenrJ6896YW0 contributionsExcellent tour would recommend Marius as a pilotExcellent service, collected us from our hotel. Very good safety briefing. Marius was a fantastic pilot and very informative. I felt very safe while he was navigating. Cygnet pearl farm was very educational. Lunch there was beautiful.Written 29 January 2025
- 526moniquen0 contributionsFabulous experience!!The Incredible Islands Tour in Broome by Broom Aviation was an unforgettable experience. The stunning aerial views of Horizontal Falls and the breathtaking coastline were definitely the highlights, and visiting Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm was both fascinating and educational. Our pilot, Marius, added so much to the journey with his expert knowledge and engaging commentary. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore the Kimberley region with amazing scenery and an insightful guide!Written 29 December 2024
- U6815THlisas0 contributionsBeautiful SceneryFlight and captain was fabulous. Headsets were not overly clear and we couldn’t talk to each other until the end of the flight which made it hard keeping an eye on my mums wellbeing. Other than that we had an amazing time and would 100% recommendWritten 26 November 2024
- Stay353425264460 contributionsTotally a must do for anyone visiting BroomeVery well put together tour. Flight over horizontal fall were amazing. Cygnet bay pearl tour was also good. Pilot was very helpful and knowledgeable. Mack also landed good.Written 13 November 2024
- LeonieshorncliffeQLD0 contributionsHighlight of our trip to BroomeWe had a fabulous day with spectacular views over the coast and inland. The views over the horizontal falls were amazing and we flew low making many sweeps past. We were collected promptly from our hotel and driven to the airport where we boarded a small 6 seater with our pilot Mac. Mac explained everything, including the cloud patterns and our course. We landed smoothly on a bright orange dirt track without a single bump and were collected by a van and driven to the pearl farm. Unfortunately we had to sit outside instead of inside to have lunch at the pearl farm and it was 35 degrees. The restaurant was empty but we were told they were setting up for a dinner function. The pearl farm tour was very interesting and our guide was lovely and very friendly. Our flight back over the coast with all the colors of the land again was amazing. Flying over Cable beach at sunset and seeing the camels was a lovely last treat.Written 8 November 2024

Great trip. The bungle bungles are amazing and yes, the photos are proof that the cost was worth it.
Despite having flown hundreds of thousands of miles, this was the first time in a plane with only one engine. The experience was made totally anxiety free by the pilot, Hilton. As well as being a congenial bloke, he was very professional and attentive to his passengers needs. 5 stars Hilton!

It is great to hear that you and Carol enjoyed your flight. The Bungles is such a unique environment and spectacular to fly over and walk through. Hylton is a very well liked member of our team and we are lucky to have him fly with us :)

A fantastic and memorable day.
After a false start due to morning fog preventing our tour, the incomparable Daisy managed to arrange for us to do the trip the next day. Kalen was our pilot and provided a knowledgeable and humorous commentary throughout the flights.
The trip into the Bungle Bungles was once in a lifetime with the walk into Cathedral gorge and the gorge itself breathtaking. Wonderful knowledgeable guides and special shout out to Wally, our indigenous guide. Lunch at the gorge provided an opportunity to relax and enjoy this special place. The food all day was plentiful and excellent.
It is a long day and we were very well looked after throughout
Really a once in a lifetime trip

We had a fantastic day with Broome Aviation and Kingfisher Tours! Our pilot for the day was young George - he was friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. He got us safely from Broome to Purnululu National Park and back, including the scenic flight over Purnululu. The whole day went so smoothly, and it was a day we will never forget. Highly recommend and a great way to see this special country.

Picked up at our accomodation at 5.25am then onto the airport. A lovely brekkie waiting for us. Met our pilot Michael who could not do enough to assist us, plus he was an excellent pilot. Arrived at the Bungle Bungles around 10.00. Picked up by Tex for a four wheel drive to where our walk began. Tex was so knowledgeable and explained everything as we walked and also the history of the area on the bus. We walked to Cathedral Gorge which was stunning for lunch (also provided) then back to the bus and to the airport for our trip back to Broome. Arrived in Broome around 5.15pm. A very big day but well worth it the Bungle Bungles were amazing. So if you have limited time this flight is perfect.

Thanks Michael (our pilot) and Tex (our tour guide). You were both great. The tour was very well organized with lots of opportunities to eat. The Bungle Bungles were fascinating and beautiful. We also learned a little about the local flora and fauna. It was a very informative tour.

We took the day trip to the Bungle-Bungles. The scenery was amazing, we were given plenty of tasty food through the day (far more than I could eat!), and our pilot (Sam) was just awesome, very engaging, professional, and happy to answer any of our questions. Highly recommended.

I telephoned day before to confirm arrangements. Was telephoned a few hours later confirming time of pick-up from hotel at 5.15 a.m: driver was on time. Only four passengers and the pilot. Breakfast of croissants, yogurt, fruit, available at office BUT little taken up so wasted 45 minutes while awaiting aircraft to be fueled. Landed for further refuelling, then transferred to air conditioned van with other visitors. Handed shoulder-strap lunch packs which must have weighed two kilos with LARGE container of water and vegetarian quiche-type main course and other nibbles with plastic utensils and napkin. Bit of a weight in addition to own shoulder bag and SLR camera. Hiked for one km. plus. Very informative guide. Plenty of stops to catch one's breath in the heat. Returned to hotel at 6 p.m.

Thank you very much for your lovely review.
We love to hear what our passengers think of how the tours play out and we certainly build on making them better at every turn.
The Bungle Bungles are a spectacular sight and plenty of water is required to get down there and back safely.
I hope you come back to the Kimberley soon and get in a little more exploring!
Thank you fore flying with us!

We booked this tour and were asked to pay the full amount (4 weeks in advance). We were warned that if there were not enough people for the tour then it would be canceled. The day before the tour we were called and asked for our weight and dietary requirements and confirmed pick up time. At 4pm that afternoon the office called and said the other couple had pulled out and so the flight was canceled. Presumably the other couple had already paid so surely they should have run the flight regardless. As a West Australian I think that sets a very poor example of our tourism!

My recoendation is do not use BROOME AVIATION for your trips arround. On yesterday trip to BUNGLE BLUNGLE they not suply WATER to customer. It was hot and there was no water. Looks that company worry only about their profit.

We would like to do the Bungle Bungle trip - the main reason for returning to Australia. We would also be on Sea Princess, on March 25th 2020 arriving at 4.30am and leaving at 5pm. Is the BB trip possible in the time available and at that time of year?
Written 8 January 2019
We arrive in Broome 2am on 15 October on Sea Princess. Sail at 4pm same day. What can we do in that time - leaving very early?
Written 5 May 2018
A morning Willie Creek pearl farm tour with 15 minute chopper ride. Will leave time to look around Broome before ship sails
