      Well-developed and Satisfying Trip
It was a wonderful and well-organised trip. Many thanks to our guide Damian, who is very kind and quite knowledgeable about all those scenic spots and wild animals. He also gives us some tips before watching penguin parade. Also, Go West has an APP and you know what to expect on the trip. You can choose the language of the APP so people aren't good at English can also enjoy the tour. This visit makes our vacation in Australia complete since the penguin parade is what my wife wants to see for a long time. In conclusion, if you want to go into the wild and have a close look at all those animals like wallabies, kangaroos, koalas and penguins, simply choose this visit. Tips: bring some warm clothes with you since it can be windy and a little bit cold on the island after sunset.

      Great day tour
We had a very enjoyable tour with Noah as our guide. Noah was a lot of fun, very informative and personable. An excellent guide. The weather was just so so but it was still a great day all around. It is a long day tour but we still got to see the highlights of the Great Ocean Road. We were very impressed with Gowest Tours Melbourne and would use them again.

      Philip island tour with Ben!
What an amazing trip to Philip island! Ben just made our trip a million times better, what a guy! He kept us all in great spirits the whole day with his vast knowledge about everything Australia. He went out of his way to ensure we had a great time, gave us tips to ensure a great view at the penguin parade and kept us all entertained with his kickass sense of humor 😄 the tour itself was really well planned to ensure that we had enough time to spend at each location. Would definitely recommend this to everyone, especially if you have Ben as your guide!

Great time on Great Ocean Road
The tour was very good. Our tour operator Janey was great. She kept things on time, informative and gave us ample time at our stops. She even made an unscheduled stop so we could see a koala on a roadside tree. Thanks for a great day Janey!

      À great, joyful, relaxing day.
A very enjoyable day with fine tastings of wines and gins ( not too much, just enough to feel relaxed), cheeses and chocolates. Amazing hosts providing lots of very interesting information. Delicious lunch (4 different choices to accommodate any preference). Met so many lovely people. Bought more wine, gin and chocolate than I would have thought! The price is great too, you really get yout money’s worth. At the end of the day we have thoroughly enjoyed the variety of expériences provided on this tour. And last but by no means least, many many thanks and congratulations to our amazing guide AARON whose professionnalism, availability, good humour and great kindness was really invaluable.

We went with Graeme to Phillip Island and he was an excellent tour guide, very helpful and knowledgeable. GO West is a bit more expensive than the other tour, but it was a smaller group (a minibus for 24 people) versus a large coach bus, which I thought was quite nice.

Graeme brought us to the town of Cowes for dinner so we had lots of good options for food. He also knew the good spots to sit, so we all had great views of the penguins. He also pointed out wildlife that we would see along the way so overall it was a great experience!

The Express tour was nice, since we were touring Australia, and we were already going to visit other animal parks. This allowed us to spend the day exploring Melbourne and doing our own thing before jumping on the bus in the afternoon.

I would highly recommend doing this activity and going with GO West!

We mainly wanted to see the penguin parade and as Phillip Island is a 2 hour drive from Melbourne, chose this tour which left at 2:45 pm. Jools and her koala gamnut were our driver and tour guide. She made the drive so much fun. She was very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife and Phillip Island. Our first stop was a beach which was nice; the Nobbies-a boardwalk where seals usually hang out but there were none yesterday. We did see Wallabies and a snake as well as geese.
On our way to the penguin area, Jool’s spotted a echidnea ( my first sighting here) so that was great.

We had standard seats but Penguin plus upgrade is the best way to see this (they were sold out for months so not an option for us). It is very well organized at the visitor center. Our group opted to eat there (good choice as we could then go get seating). The food at the restaurant was excellent and we just happened to get there before a big line formed. Then headed to the seating - was well spaced (although once it gets dark when the penguins start exiting the water, it is hard to see. We did have binoculars (which helped a lot). These small creatures work hard to exit and then find their homes. After 15 minutes, it is best to go to stand by the path they take up to their burrows. They waddle by in groups. We happened to witness a baby going after every penguin for food. We did learn that the mamas will only feed their young so this baby was turned away quite a few times and got very aggressive. Fascinating to watch but I felt sad as the baby was hungry. We later saw a mama with her baby so eventually they do get back together.

Best to bring a coat and scarf as it can be windy and quite cool, binoculars and do the Penguin plus. It was an interesting evening for us and different from anything we have seen-all of these little penguins exiting the water and parading up the path to their burrows.

Great direct tour to Philip Island with Chris H - our guide. We had to drove through fallen trees/branches on the highway to see the penguin parade and Chris H was exemplary in his handling of the driving and conduct for the tour. No doubt about it that it was a great family trip for us!!

What a fantastic time we had with Red on our express tour from Melbourne to Phillip Island. Red is an outstanding character and kept us entertained throughout our trip. He was almost as amazing as the penguins we saw leaving the ocean, an experience we will never forget. Thank you so much to Go West tours for taking us there at short notice and thank you to Red for just being Red.

Jool and Gumnut (the Koala) are simply amazing. Jool’s sense of humor made the tour even more awesome and entertaining than I thought was possible. She even took song requests and played it for us on our trip which was a beautiful touch. Thank you Jools!! and Gumnut of course :) I can not recommend them enough!!
Philipp’s Island is a bucket list kinda place. The Penguins are sooo cute and the whole organization is wonderful and what spectacular views you won’t get enough of!

Lovely view of Phillip Island in particular the beaches at Woolamai & Cowes. Watching the little cute penguins coming out of the sea after sunset was indeed a new experience, further with the close encounter on the boardwalk. We had an awesome guide/driver, Aaron who also briefed us on the history & facts on the penguins as well as on the local area. 👍👍

Tour was spaced out very well and all the stops had really great views and photo taking opportunities. The penguins were sooo cute and it was quite easy to see them. Our guide Izzy (Israel) was full of dad jokes but still very charming and helpful, anyone who's with him is in safe and good hands. Also top tier music selection for the bus rides :)

Great day out. Outward trip broken up with stops at the huts and wildlife park. Cavie was a great guide, knew when to give commentary and when to not.
We took a packed lunch with us, could have taken more as the timings for food are tricky with the time the penguins come.
Worth taking some warm, windproof clothes as the watching is in the open at the beach. It was a sunny day when we left, but was chilly at the penguins.
