- Pawelczyz0 contributionsExceptional Team-Building Experience in Yarra ValleyOur team had an amazing experience with Red Carpet Wine Tours for our recent team-building event in the Yarra Valley. Everything was seamless from start to finish. Stephen, our driver, was fantastic! He took us on a scenic route that added to the experience, and we appreciated how punctual we were at every stop. The car was clean, spacious, and comfortable, allowing us to relax and enjoy the ride. A big thank you to Thomas, who planned our itinerary perfectly. We visited some of the best wineries in the area, and each stop felt well-curated and high-quality. The selection was top-notch, and the overall organisation of the day was impressive. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we'll definitely consider Red Carpet Wine Tours for future events. Highly recommended for any group or team outing.Written 6 October 2024

We had a group of 12, who were looking to explore the best of the Yarra Valley wineries. The tour was well planned for a group of our size, showed off 4 fantastic wineries in the region and most of all, was a lot of fun. Would highly recommend!Written 30 January 2023

We could choose the wineries that we wanted to visit and Thomas was very happy to advise or give recommendations. We visited Helen & Joey, Oakridge, Rochford, and Domaine Chandon. During the tour, we had plenty of time to walk around and explore the different wineries and of course to enjoy the wine tasting. We even made an additional stop at another winery which was not originally planned but great to get to see even more of the Yarra Valley. We got picked up at the hotel in a private bus and the whole day was very relaxed and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!Written 25 January 2023

Had an amazing day with Red Carpet Wine Tours in the Yarra Valley. The wineries were incredible—everything from rich reds to crisp whites, and the views were stunning. What really made the day special was Gilbert, our host. He kept the whole vibe fun and laid-back, cracking jokes and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. You can tell he knows the area and the wines really well, but he keeps it casual, not overly formal. If you’re looking for a relaxed and fun way to explore the Yarra’s best wineries, I’d definitely recommend this tour!

We spent the day exploring the delightful wines of the Yarra Valley on this small group tour from Melbourne, which also included optional gin and whiskey tasting and a full 10 piece chocolate tasting. Tom, our driver, was a great host and kept us on time without feeling rushed as we made several stops. He was also very accommodating for folks who wanted to do something different
All the tastings are included in the pricing, but you can purchase anything you want for lunch at Hubert estates and wine at any location. Places visited: Balgownie Estates, St Huberts Cellar, a Dairy farm, Yering Station, Yarra Valley & Ice Creamery, and Soumah winery Each stop had great wine and picturesque views. It was a wesome day!

I had an incredible time on my Yarra Valley tour! The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the itinerary was perfectly organized, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful wineries, delicious food, and serene landscapes.
Matt, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and super friendly.
Everything about the day was seamless, from the pick-up to the winery visits. It was a relaxed, enjoyable tour that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting the Yarra Valley.

We had a fantastic time on this tour! We started the day meeting the to our guide in Melbourne CBD at the Ian Potter Center and had an option of 2 buses, one with lunch around 11 and one with lunch around 12:30. After we chose the 12:30 option we got on the road to our first winery (Soumah) arriving around 10 am. After that we had the choice of another winery (Payten and Jones) or going to 4 Pillars Gin which was right across the street. We were making good time so we ended up being able to do both; one included in the cost of the tour and one that we paid for ourselves. Then we headed to a photo spot where we could also try some sparkling wines if we wanted to spend our own money to do so. This spot was beautiful and we even saw a kangaroo in between the rows of the vineyard. Then we want to St. Hubarts for lunch which was stunning and delicious. After lunch we went to a chocolate and ice cream spot and then lastly to our last winery which was Yering Farms Winery. All of the stops were amazing and the staff at each were so helpful and informative ok what we were trying. Our tour guide, Gilberto, was the perfect amount of chatty and informative with the balance of allowing us to sit quietly and watch the region go by in the windows of the his at times as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone intending to see the Yarra Valley, we were able to see so much in just a days time.

Had such a great! By the first tasting, everyone was really gravitating with eachother and felt like a big group event. I can’t with my parent, took some really special photos, tried some amazing wines and took a few bottles home. Would recommend for anyone wanting to experience the Yarra Valley and gain a better understanding of wine. The tour guide, Gilbert, really made the trip that much more enjoyable and engaging 10/10 experience.

The trip was very organized, went to one winery first and then another winery or gin which was per liking and then we went to lunch. And then the diary farm and chocolate farm. Finally ended with another winery. The tastings were all arranged and no waiting time and very smooth. Our guide Matt was very friendly and also taught us how to taste wine:D. Wine tastings and the chocolate tasting was included in the price and if we want we could buy bottles as well. Thanks for the lovely guided tour!

Went with mom and cousin to see a different side of Victoria/Melbourne and we all had a very good time. Matt, our driver, was very chill and made sure everyone was having a great time all the way through. Really appreciated the little things/trivia he thought worth mentioning during the drive, too.
If you’re not all about wine, I would really recommend opting for the gin tasting at Four Pillars as a nice change of pace and some very good gins in a beautiful setting.
I find it good the itinerary urges to aim being at the meeting point 20-30 mins early, since at least with our group it worked and we got off to an early start. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to spend a nice day out in the country; friends, family, couples or even solo. Can get very hot out in the summer, but the stops and car stay cool 🙏

Booked tour after reading reviews and glad we did, fantastic day. Meeting point easy to find and Gilbo, tour leader friendly, knowledgeable and had tour running smoothly. We had 21 on our tour. Yes there is an itinerary but you can do variations ie 2 restaurant options for lunch, don't like chocolate no problem he will drop you at another winery (thou chocolate was yum), don't like gin again no problem you can go to another winery. At no time did you feel time pressured, all stops you had ample time to sample and buy. Highly recommend.

Matt was our guide and he was such good value - a Yarra Valley local who is funny, friendly and has that classic Aussie charm. The wine, gin & chocolate tour is absolutely fantastic and great value for money - by the end it was hard to imagine we could fit in that last vineyard stop. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time on the tour. We got a lot for the price we paid. Richard was a great tour guide. There’s a great range of wineries, from some breath taking views to a more industrial feel, it was really refreshing. We also managed a short stop at Chandon which was not guaranteed. We had a wonderful day. There was one couple on our who were being negative which was a shame for others, but everyone else had a great time. I would definitely recommend this tour, it’s a really cost effective way to see a lot of different wineries.
