A super day out with a great guide
We had a wonderful day touring the Great Ocean Road with our brilliant guide Jono. He created a welcoming, fun atmosphere from the get-go, and kept the group moving (though we never felt rushed - maybe 15 mins more at Apollo Bay?). The itinerary itself is obviously amazing. Aside from the Apostles, unexpected highlights were Melba Gully Rainforest Walk (we think we saw a platypus) and seeing the koalas. Shout out to Jono's driving too - polite in letting others past on the narrow coastal roads, firm in delivering justice to the two individuals who cut us up. Cheers!

A total waste of money and far better options available to view the penguins and Phillip Island.
The whole day was disappointing. The driver/guide was the dullest man I have ever come across, I think he was called Craig. The trip got off to a bad start as we were stuck in traffic for over an hour because of an accident on the motorway but our driver did not communicate anything about how this would impact our day. I was sitting near the front so was able to see his driving and he made no attempt to try and move into a lane that was moving more freely than the first lane which we were in, and he also let in half of Melbourne who were joining our lane from a slip road! It really was the most frustrating experience. I know that accidents happen and delays are an obvious result of this but our driver made no attempt to progress at all. He left a gap of at least 50 metres ahead of us that allowed every single car to join the motorway from the slip road whilst we were queuing in the traffic. His driving wasted so much of our day. I have no idea of why he drove like this, it was incomprehensible. He then proceeded to waste further time in our day. Every time we turned up to something, he would pull up before going in and proceed to drone on for at least 10 minutes, completely useless information that was obvious to everyone. He also repeated himself A LOT, and then he said exactly the same thing again when we actually got to the place rather than let us get off the bus and go and see what we were booked to see. Our first stop, at the wildlife sanctuary lasted about 30 minutes before the place closed for the day, the same happened at the town. We had time for a really quick coffee in the town, the first of the entire day and that was it. There was no time to do anything, anywhere. We were obviously impacted by the accident and the delay in our journey but it really was not helped by his odious driving and talking. Do yourselves a favour a hire a car and do it yourself. The sanctuary was not worth our time, the town would have warranted an hour's wander and had some pretty settings and wrap up warm for the penguins, no matter the time of year. We were freezing cold - again something the tour operator should have warned us about. After the event, so many people told me that it is always really cold there!

Philip island, penguin parade and wildlife Sanctuary
This was a great trip, we got to stop at a wildlife sanctuary and feed kangaroos and see koalas close up. Then onto Cowes for a look round which is a very pretty seaside town, before heading to the penguin parade. Some people on our tour were disappointed with the number of penguins we saw this particular evening but you have to remember this is wildlife so can be a bit unpredictable. Our guide, Scott was very informative and fun I can also recommend the flake (gummy shark) and chips from Nats fish and chips shop in Cowes for tea

      Amazing Trip
The scenery was amazing. The tour guide ‘guy’ was very informative and super chill. He knew amazing spots, very little crowd, we had the beautiful views all to ourselves. Everything was just as it was described in the website. Would definitely recommend the trip to a friend.

Cool animal and great beach views!
Great tour! Everything went smoothly and was well worth the money! We got to see lots of animals and the tour guide took us to good look out spots. I would recommend bringing a jacket as it does get chilly on the beach.

Loved this tour! Our tour guide Julia was so nice and kind. A totally wholesome day ending with cute baby penguins! They show you 4 stops in total and also wait for lunch in a cute town. We had a lovely day!

      Great trip and guide
Amazing trip. Very well organized. Our guide /driver Luke was fantastic. He was an entertainer and gave so much fun and also a lot of interesting facts about the places. It was magic to see the penguins come out of the sea.

      Don't go if it's cloudy.
It was a good day but the weather was not good and we couldn't see the views because of the low clouds. We had 2 hours there and spent most of the time queuing for the cable cars and the train, it's far too commercialized now. The tour guide was excellent and made the most of the weather. Do not go if it's cloudy.

      Good value and well organized.
We very rarely do tours but we wanted to see the Blue mountains and we were short of time, so didn’t fancy hiring a car. The tour was great. Timely pick up from hotel, great guide with a good sense of humor (a South African lady who has lived in Australia a long time). Well organized and informative. Good value for money.

This trip started by being picked up at our hotel and although he was 5 minutes late he sent an email advising us of this. Great communication with his clients. We completed the pick up process and had a full 30 person bus. It was small enough to not feel like we invaded a place. Anyways we arrived at the Sydney Zoo prior to it opening to the public and got entry prior to the crowds. What a bonus that was. We had 90 minutes at the zoo for those who wished to go in. It was made quite clear that the entry fee was not included and we got a $10.00 discount if we did want to go in, so only $35.00 per person. Les was wonderful and explained this several times prior to entry. Then it was off to The Blue Mountains after a drive thru Leura to show us where we would be dropped for lunch at our own expense. He got us up to the train prior to the big rush of people as he promised and again explained at our own expense if we wished to take the ride. The train was a big part of the experience and Les was so good about informing us about plants, lightning, rain forest and a wealth of knowledge this man had. We soaked up so much information on this day I don't know how he has all that info in his head, other than he grew up in the area and was passionate about his job. Les was remarkable and we all thought so except for the 2 derelicts we had on the bus who didn't listen and made life miserable for the rest of us. Les should have dropped them off early as they were disruptive to the rest. Anyways he handled them like a professional and dropped us off at the end where ha gave us our fare to take the ferry back to circular quay. It was a perfect day and Les was outstanding. I would highly recommend this tour and just be aware that you pay extra for the zoo and Blue Mountain Train only if you wish to due these activities. Les made it very clear several times. It sure helped that the day was sunny and we had unbelievable views of the area and then he took us to a couple of lookouts that required some waking but they were so worth it. Highly recommend taking this tour and if you get Les you will be overwhelmed with knowledge by the end and even a couple of funny stories. Great job Les and thanks for a wonderful day!

Hey Kelly and Monika, Thanks for taking the time to write us a review. And such a great one too! It's really good to get a detailed review. This way we can even learn more from it and other travellers know what to expect. We'll let Les know how awesome he was that day. If you're both staying in Australia a bit longer, enjoy the rest of it. There is a lot to see and do. Again, thank you for lovely feedback and we're happy to hear you both had a magic Blue Mountains tour.

Our tour guide Hayden was the full package. He was met with a bus half full of excited kids and absolutely nailed it! He was friendly, patient and super knowledgeable about the areas we were in. The way he presented the information about the area was witty, funny and entertaining from both a kids and an adults perspectives, at the same time as being educational. Highly recommend this tour for families. This was the highlight of our trip. Big day, but well worth it!

We've packed so much into our short Melbourne trip and were exhausted today resulting in a stuff up by me just as we were getting ready to return from Mt Buller. It was handled really professionally by the person I spoke to at Sightseeing Tours Australia, and our driver went above and beyond to help. I really can't fault their service and I'd recommend them to anyone. Mt Buller was great too!!

Seeing snow and skiing for the first time was an amazing experience.
We were just caught by surprise with the prices of the chair lift which is $175.00 pp adding rental clothes and equipment + resort tickets. So be prepared to spend around $450 in total with this tour.

Fun first ski experience but needed more time. Not able to do the earlier ski lesson so ended up leaving in the middle of the lesson.

Was little freaked out at the beginning when my mobile number was printed different to the driver’s list as not sure if we were in the correct tour bus.

First week of July is not a good idea to visit Mount Buller. You can’t barely see snow and I noticed there is a man made snow and that time it’s wet and raining. Expenses did not compensate the adventure we experienced. In short, we just enjoy toboggan and that’s it.

It has been a slow start to the season with the amount of snow that has fallen. However there is lots of snow now, with heaps more forecast over the next few weeks. Mount Buller do have multiple snow making machines so even when the snow fall is not great there is always adequate snow.

Horrible experience. I paid for my ski equipment but they claimed it as my surcharge and had to pay out of pocket. Boots don't fit when reached Mt Buller even though I tried it from the place they hired ski equipment from which was a 30min to 1h drive away. Ended up hiring my own boots from another store.
