A perfect small group tour that combined our love of wildlife and wine! Highly recommend!! !
What a wonderful trip to the Yarra Valley! Our driver and guide, Adrian, was friendly, knowledgeable and a great host. We had plenty of time at the Healesville Sanctuary to marvel at the wonderful wildlife of Australia! The lunch at Yering Winery was superb and the wine tasting was fantastic! We capped off the tour with a wine and cheese pairing and tasting at the de Bortoli winery. We would highly recommend this lovely small group tour of the beautiful Yarra Valley area!

        Amazing!!
This was a fantastic experience! I went on this tour with my husband and we had a great time. Our tour guide was awesome and really knew his stuff. The animals were super cute!! The sanctuary was beautiful and very immersive. We had a great time at the winery as well. The wine and the food were very good! Loved the pairings!! Everything was such a great experience. We would highly recommend this tour and we would definitely do it again if we ever return to Melbourne.

        Excellent Day in the Yarra
Cannot recommend thus tour enough .It exceeded our expectations by a mile. Rob was a fantastic guide/ host. We learned so much about Melbourne and the Yarra Valley. The 2 hour visit to Healesville sanctuary was wonderful and inspiring. The wine tasting and lunch at Yering Station fabulous. And the cheese and wine pairing at De Bortorli just brilliant. I would recommend this tour as a “must do “ when in Melbourne - you won’t be disappointed - ask for Rob .

        Great wine and tour.
Paul was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He arrived on time in a new bus which was comfortable. The wineries were great, the staff engaging and the lunch which is provided was excellent. Set in a great location with great lunch, the lunch is very filling and comes with a wine of your choice. Overall, it was a great day and I would recommend this tour.

        Fabulous wine tasting trip
Very informative guide, visited 5 wineries small and big. Food and wines great. We were in a group of 10 and had a fabulous time talking with everyone and sharing our thoughts. Shane our guide was brilliant answering our questions and making us all feel special. Would definitely recommend Vinetrekker wine tours as they are small and intimate.

        Very fun day!
We thoroughly enjoyed our day with our guide, Paul. He gave us some interesting regional history on our drive to the sanctuary. At the sanctuary, the volunteer guide Barbara showed us around. She was incredibly knowedgable in the animals and plants. We enjoyed seeing all of the animals before heading out to sample some very tasty wines. I highly recommend this tour.

Great way to learn about the Yarra Valley
Paul was a great host on this trip through the Yarra Valley. He was extremely patient and accommodating, especially when our travel plans changed at the last minute. He was able to change the tour itinerary to still give a great tour. Very informative and seemed to know a lot about both the places and the staff at every location. Five stars!

        A wonderful wine tour
We chose a wine and wildlife combined tour. First, the tour guide to visitors ratio was perfect. There won’t be too many people in the tour, unlike some other companies. Second, our driver Shane was very friendly and knowledgeable. The wineries we visited were excellent. They served us good wines and cheeses more than expected. The lunch was delicious too. The Healesville Sanctuary they chose was excellent too. We met all the animals we want to see. My son loved it very much. We highly recommend this combined wine and wildlife tour, especially you have kids. Both parents and kids loved it.

Yarra Valley Wildlife & Wine Daytour (Private)
We had a wonderful experience with our private tour guide, Paul, who was very engaging and provided my wife and I with a very personable experience!!! This trip was booked from the US so was already arranged when we hit Melbourne. The trip started with Paul picking us up in a Mercedes Benz Van which was more than enough room to transport us. On the drive out to the Yarra Valley, Paul pointed out various sites of interest to help us get acclimated to the area that the would be in for the day. We arrived at the Healesville Sanctuary and were the second group in line first the 9am opening. I recommend going to the sanctuary early as that is when the animals are most active which enhances the experience. Paul shared some of his insights since he has been there numerous times!!!! You will see kangaroos, wombats, dingos, koalas, Tasmanian devils, birds and the list goes on!!! After the sanctuary, we also visited two (2) wineries where we had taste testing of local wines. Highly recommend visiting the Coldstream Hills Winery where we tasted all kinds of varieties of wine and purchased some to be sent back to our home in the US. We were also treated to a sample of Vanilla Slice which was quite a wonderful surprise!!! We had an amazing day with Paul and highly recommend booking a day tour with Vinetrekker and if possible ask for Paul as yo will be treated to a wonderful experience!!!!

We had a fantastic time exploring the wineries of the Mornington Peninsula on a private tour with Paul. Paul was responsive, helpful and a pleasure to deal with from my very first email which made planning our trip so much easier. He was able to suggest tweaks to our tour and schedule to suit us and our interests for a personalised day out. We visited a range of different wineries and tasted incredible wines (not to mention a fantastic cheese platter at Quealy - heavenly!). The standouts for me were Crittenden Estate, Quealy and Ten Minutes by Tractor. Everyone we encountered who led us through wine tastings was clearly very passionate about the wine and their enthusiasm was infectious.

I would definitely recommend Vinetrekker to anyone looking for a stress-free, unpretentious and fun exploration of the Mornington Peninsula wine region. We can’t wait to be back and tour the Yarra Valley with Vinetrekker too!

We recently went on a wine tour with Vinetrekker and Paul as our guide. This is my second tour with Vinetrekker and my friend's third. From the the first phone call Paul from Vinetrekker was very professional and accommodating. E mails were replied to very promptly and thoroughly. From the moment Paul picked us up from our hotel he was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Whilst driving to the Mornington Peninsula Paul was very knowledgeable pointing out places of interest on our way out of Melbourne. The wineries that were chosen were tailored to our preference and some of the best wineries we have ever been to. Paul listened to our preferences and was the perfect guide telling us numerous facts about the wineries and the wines we were tasting. I have been om numerous wine tours over the years but Paul's extensive knowledge gave me more of a thorough insight in to wines in gerneral. All 5 wineries we visited were excellent and very different in their own way. The winery where we stopped for lunch was fantastic and all the meals we had there were 5 star quality. We would also like to thank Paul for going "above and beyond" throughout the day and also offering to have our wine shipped to us rather than having to worry about how we were going to carry it on the plane!
Thank you so much once again, Paul for making our day so enjoyable. We would highly recommend Vinetrekkers and yourself as an amazing guide. We will definitely be booking another tour with you on our return to Victoria.
      Thanks, Nicola and Karen.

We had a great day down on the Mornington Peninsula. I had already done the Yarra Valley tour with Vinetrekker a few years ago and loved it. When I looked to book another wine tour, I came straight back to the Vinetrekker team and was very happy again. Stephen was a great host and quite knowledgeable about all the wines. We were lucky to have the day to ourselves, and Stephen was great at giving us our space, but also being a really engaged host. We were able to go to five vineyards plus our lunch destination and would have tasted 30 or so different wines for the day, it was great value and a great day!

      Thanks Stephen & Vinetrekker team!

What a lovely review HWBrendan and thrilled to read that your recent tour to the Mornington Peninsula was a great experience. It's always a pleasure to welcome back past travellers and to showcase another region. Having the tour to yourselves was a bonus and only enhanced the connection you had with Stephen and the various cellar door staff. Thanks for supporting us again, it's very much appreciated. We look forward to showing you the Macedon Ranges with your next visit.

Whether your heading to the Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Macedon Ranges or the Bellaraine Peninsula Paul Robinson is your man.

He is the quintessential wine touring oficianado who's attention to detail is second to none - we know when we board his bus we are in safe hands.

We commenced our Melbourne wine touring journey with Paul 10 years ago- what Paul doesn't know about local wine producers simply isn't worth knowing.

Thanks again Paul and we very much look forward to catching up next year when next in Melbourne .

We had a really good day with Paul and another couple on this tour of the Mornington Peninsula wineries. Paul was really knowledgeable and on good terms with the staff, meaning we could learn a lot and tailor some of the tastings to our preferences. We visited 3 wineries before lunch and 2 after, with a tasty lunch in between (with 3 before lunch I do recommend a hearty breakfast...). Definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in wines! Plus, we stopped off to see some roos on the way home.

What a fantastic day out! After having done a tour to the Yarra Valley last time we were in Melbourne we wanted something different this time and came across this tour to Mornington with Vinetrekker. Whilst more expensive than others we were looking at it is well worth the money, the quality of wineries and food throughout were exceptional as well as the beautiful settings. Crittenden was our first stop and what a way to kick off the tour, the wines were definitely our favourite of the tour! Though it was hard to choose as all we visited were lovely. We ended up being the only ones on the tour which might have been a little strange for some but Cam made us feel like long lost friends and we really enjoyed our day getting to know him and the Mornington Peninsula. Lunch at the General Store was delightful, beautiful food. Couldn't fault the tour and would recommend to anyone who enjoys good wine and beautiful food!

Our host Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also has a cool surfing champion dog called Spike. We enjoyed wine tasting at the various wineries in Mornington. Rob also brought us to a nice lookout to catch scenic views of the peninsula.

After the tour, Paul gifted us a bottle of wine from one of the wineries for our honeymoon, which we appreciate a lot.

My husband and I had a great time!

We highly recommend Vinetrekker if you'd like to do winery tours of Mornington/Yarra.

Thank you Rob and Paul for the wonderful experience!

Great travel experiences truly begin with an amazing tour guide. Paul has filled our journey with laughter, wit, and energy right from the start. Our trip to Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula were unforgettable, especially the unexpected delight of touring top-notch wineries. From Yabby Lake Vineyard to Crittenden Estate, Queally Vineyard, lunch at Merricks General Store, Stonier Wines, and Ten Minutes by Tractor, each moment was enhanced by Paul's dedicated efforts. If I ever return to Melbourne, I'll contact Paul again to explore more of Mornington Peninsula's hidden gems. Once I settle back into my routine after the trip, I'll share more details, but for now, a big shout out to Paul for making our wine tour both safe and fun. See you again, Paul.

We were the only two to book the tour, so it became like a private tour only for us — flexible itinerary. Stephen was absolutely the best guide ever! He introduced a lot, told us quite much knowledge about wine, and introduced Melbourne & Mornington Peninsula area.
We were also lucky that the traffic was good after Easter break. Not much visitors and not much traffic. It was a relaxing and interesting day!
