Great tour - tons of amazing things to see
This tour is a great way to see all of the amazing things along the Great Ocean Road. The tour does a great job of getting most of the monotonous driving out of the way early in the morning, and leaving the rest of the day for amazing stops, or just incredible views on the drive. We got to see beautiful beaches with awe inspiring cliffs, we saw wild kangaroos and koalas, and stopped in a really cool beach town for lunch. Our guide Marty was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and has a perfect tour guide voice. He talked almost throughout the entire drive giving interesting facts or just having discussions with the tourists. If you get Marty as a guide, you’re in for a great day!

The most perfect day, a must do tour if visiting Melbourne!!
Amazing day!! Absolutely worth the trip, which was wonderful from the first greeting by Peter our fabulous tour guide. His knowledge and interesting facts enriched our day. It's a must see & after speaking to other people, we definitely chose well with hit the road tours. The reverse itinerary meant we had time to take in the sights without crowds of people & the personal touch of Peter going the extra mile to ensure everyone had the best time. With the added bonus of meeting some great people on the trip👍

      Amazing tour
Fantastic tour! Our guide Peter was not only kind and friendly but also funny, had a huge knowledge, was really open and caring and tried everything to give us the best experience we could have! He even did some extra time to gibe us the opportunity to see both Koalas and Kangaroos. The landscapes have been amazing and there was enough time at every stop. Can recommend that tour for everyone!

      Fantastic scenic tour.
Had an absolutely amazing experience. Sam the guide was great, giving lots of information and looking after everyone in the group. Going in a small group and being picked up at the hotel was definitely worth the little bit extra. The scenery is fantastic and I can’t recommend this tour enough.

      Exceptional day
This was an exceptional experience. Peter was the perfect guide - relaxed, well informed and with a great sense of humour. Because of Peter’s experience and detailed knowledge, we got to see some great wildlife including lots of kangaroos on a golf course. He went out of his way to personalise the day whilst always paying great attention to our safety. The reverse itinerary meant we avoided all the crowds. We also met some great people on the trip! Highly recommended

Breathtaking sights you don't want to miss!
Jai was a friendly, funny & gracious host! The trip had many interesting stops where we could take in the breathtaking views, enjoy wildlife and soak in the natural beauty of the Australian coastline! Having a smaller group and an earlier start time allowed us to enjoy the sights without the crowds.

The sightseeing spots were paced well. All the spots were great but don’t expect to see any seals at the Nobbies. Bree was our guide, and was excellent. Her tone was soothing and knew when to speak and when not to.

Overall experience was great...we got close to the the penguins as we got up from our seating early because of large crowd and walked back along the boardwalk and saw them as they waddled alongside to find their burrows...the building containing cafe etc is great, pretty expensive outing even for family!

I had the sheer pleasure of witnessing the Penguin Parade - and it was one of the most wonderful exhibits I have EVER seen. Watching the Penguins come out of the water in droves - and making their way to the overnight nesting area beneath us was beyond memorable. For anyone who has not done this, do it now. !!!

This was a great overall trip with tons of experiences from the get go. From Melbourne, the group makes its way to Brighton Beach and beyond for a day filled with firsts. The animal conservatory (stop 2) was a great opportunity to see native Australian animals, even though there was a ton of indigenous wildlife to be seen as well. After several pit stops and dinner, arriving for the penguin parade was a great way to cap the trip. Everyone took notice of the natural amazement that came with the penguins returning in flocks from a day of hunting, something I never thought I’d see.
Orlando was a great host, very friendly and informative throughout the day. If I were to return to Melbourne and do the trip again, I would likely request to be in one of his tours.

All in all, the experience is a must, even with an impressive list of competing attractions in the area.

Seeing the penguins were wonderful. However, it should be explained that the greatest number of penguins will be see walking up the hillside to there resting places and not coming out of the ocean.

The tour itself was excellent. Our tour guide, Chris, was knowledgable and energetic. This review would have have been 5 star except for the fact that the bus ran out of gas and we landed up getting back to the hotel around 1:20 AM. Anyway heading to the Penguin Parade should ensure they bring a jacket to stay warm.

Hi, This review was posted to the wrong business. There's no tour guide Chris running Phillip Island Tour for us and we never ever ran out of gas in any road. Could you please reassign the review to the correct tour operator? Thanks, Orlando
