I had a really enjoyable experience on a relaxed tour. We enjoyed some spots I would have never found on my own, learned about some obscure history (and saw Ned Kelly’s armor), and enjoyed Tristian’s knowledge and company. He also provided a number of additional places to visit! This tour helped me learn a little about Melbourne and how to get around the city.

Tristen our tour guide was amazing. His knowledge of the people and history of Fitzroy, Collingwood & Carlton was mind boggling. He brought the suburbs to life with his detailed observations and anecdotes. Loved the street art stories too. We didn’t want to leave at the end of the day! Thank You Tristen.

As well as being great fun, our guide Tristan was full of fascinating anecdotes and insights about some of the colourful characters that have shaped Melbourne.. He took us to excellent bars we would never have otherwise found and was brilliant company throughout

For me traveling is to experience the culture especially the food. Enjoyed the bites and Flat white coffee. Melbourne has an amazing library, don’t think would have see if not on the tour.

What a great tour! Our guide Tristan was incredibly knowledgeable and shared some really interesting Melbourne history. With the majority of our group being from Melbourne, we were curious how familiar we'd already be with the bars and city's history. I can confidently say we were all pleasantly surprised having learnt something new and left with a top notch list of places to check out around Melbourne. I love that the tour also involved a visit to an Indigenous owned venue.

What a fabulous experience! We were treated to so many secret gems and quirky Melbourne history tidbits. Tristan was so knowledgeable on both the Melbourne history and the bar scene and being a local it was wonderful to be able to walk away with a list of hidden bars I didn't know existed in my own backyard!

We were lucky to have Tristan as a guide for this fun & interesting tour. He was knowledgeable & introduced us to some historic characters we were not familiar with. We enjoyed the Gin distillery, The Containers bar & the mystery & experience of the Berlin Bar. Finished off in China Town, perfectly timed for a early dinner. We hadn't been to these neighborhoods before and had an awesome afternoon learning more about Fitzroy and Collingwood . Our Guide Tristan was informative and it was obvious he loved the area, it's culture, art and music scene (and some pretty nifty short cuts ; ) It was so cool to be shown around by a local and getting inside tips on things that were going on like the cool markets with local artists work and great local souvenirs while getting to know about the area's past, present and future. A great way to get planning your next visit to the area. Get into it!

Would totally recommend this tour to anyone. A fun way to learn about the city and it's history while visiting incredible bars which you wouldn't have even noticed were there if they weren't pointed out.

Great guide, so knowledgeable. Even found me a Cold War bar as it was part of my history studies. But then he also took me to a bar that was previously a brothel!

Was a wonderful experience. Our driver was great. Gave us information on what we were seeing as we drove to Yara Valley. The wineries selected were top notch.
