My wife and I had a lovely day with Mark. Our tour started by touring some of Melbourne’s historic neighborhoods. One stop included stopping to see the beautiful beach huts on Brighton Beach. Mark being a native of Melbourne, gives a wonderful perspective of the history of Melbourne. We went to Moonlit Sanctuary to see the the Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats etc….. off to several beach scenic overlooks on our way to Phillips Island to see the Penguins!! Prior to the evening penguin arrival Mark recommended a nice Italian restaurant. The night with the penguins should be included on everyone’s bucket list. To see thousands of adorable little blue penguins arrive on quest at sundown and march past you to their burrows is a reminder on how wonderful nature is!!! Everyone of all ages were in awe of these little off balanced adorable penguins!! Final thoughts, Mark is the best!!! His energy and enthusiasm is off the charts! He opens doors, he gets ahead to secure your passes through entry gates. He knows where the best locations are for photo opportunities. He also takes photos of you if needed. Our trip to Melbourne was superb n marvelous thanks to Mark, who’s always on time. He took us to tour the CBD, the sidestreets n alleys to get a better glimpse n feel of what it’s like in Melbourne. Mark was patient and well-mannered when there was a tech glitch on his booking website. We managed to book a half day (0900-1400) tour and Mark could customize it for us. He picked us up on time from our apartment; and also pre-booked the Koala tickets at Moonlit. He made it so stress-free for us! We had a wonderful time and took beautiful memorable pictures. We did a two-day tour along the great ocean road with a night at Port Campbell. The third day we had a day tour to Philip Island and on day four Mark guided us through Melbourne city. Mark drives safely, is very friendly and shares lots of information, facts and stories along the way. He made sure the children (11 and 13) got involved as well. Mark proposed to do the great ocean road in reverse to make the best of the weather, which turned out to be an excellent choice. We spent the sunniest day in Port Campbell National Park which gave brilliant views of the 12 apostles and other rock formations. On the more cloudy second day we saw big groups of wild kangaroos and wild koalas!

Our family of 5 had a great day on the Great Ocean Road tour with Simon from Mark's Tours. The itinerary was all that is promised on the TripAdvisor site and more! Simon, our very professional and friendly driver/guide customized the day to suit our preferences, going out of the way to spot wildlife for us. The van was clean and comfy (a must for a 12-hour tour). In addition to all the coastal formations, we saw Koalas, Kangaroos (on a golf course), and sadly, (with Simon's sharp eye) even an echidna that lie dead on the side of the road.

We booked a tour with Mark on our first day in Melbourne which gave us a great intro into the city. He was knowledgeable, friendly and a good communicator. He helped us be able to navigate our way around for our next few days and gave us some great tips. A great experience!

Firstly, Mark picked us up on time, and it was a comfortable vehicle, he was informative and knew a lot about the areas that we were visiting, we learned a lot from his tour, and when we returned to our hotel, he gave our family Australian treats. Overall, it was a great tour and we enjoyed very much. Highly recommended.

Mark and his driver, Gary were both wonderful to spend the day with. Mark was very informative along the way accommodating by allowing for extra stops we requested. He made sure we didn’t spend too long at any one spot so we could do everything we had planned. He went out of his way to help us locate a koala in the wild! Water bottles and snacks were provided as well as a charging cable. Our van was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Mark and Gary did a great job for our family of 9. Mark communicated well ahead of the trip and was accommodating for the needs of our group. During the day Mark provided history of the area along with answering the barage of questions about all things Australia. Being a native of Melbourne gives him a good perspective of how things have changed over time and an intimate knowledge of all the areas we visited. We saw Koalas, Roos, and Wallabies as well a a number of different birds. Lunch in Apollo Beach was great as it had many choices for everyone and all were convenient to walk to. All in all it was a pleasant day with local mate.

Mark's local knowledge - as someone born and raised in the area - can't be beat! Amazing service too - I had briefed him beforehand of my father's mobility issues and he really kept that in mind not just during the planning phase prior to the tour, but even as we did the tour. Really enjoyed our time with Mark, and learned so much about Melbourne even though I had been to the area several times before. Highly recommend!

Wonderful walking tour of Melbourne followed by driving tour of outskirts of Melbourne - all in 4 hours. I learned so much about Melbourne from the combination of walking and driving along with Mark's vast local, architectural and historical knowledge. Mark was very interested in showing me the sights that interested me and not just the regular tour sights which I very much appreciated. Thanks Mark!

We did TWO tours with Mark, this one and also the 1/2 day tour of Melbourne. Mark is the BEST tour guide that I had in Melbourne and in Australia (we had 5 different private tour guides between Sydney, Melbourne, Hamilton Island, Tasmania and Bruny Island). Mark loves what he does and excels at it. He is very knowledgable and extremely flexible and accommodating. He knows his stuff really well and adapts to changes in weather, traffic, etc. He has a great SENSE of HUMOR and he is just VERY NICE. He got us FIRST in line for the private experience with the Koala at the Moonlit Reserve (we could had waited 40 minutes in line if it was not for him). EVERYONE knows him when we got to any place, and he got the royal treatment for us. The tours and his explanations were excellent. I wish I could find a "Mark" at any city that I visit. !!!!!!

Mark took us to popular spots and others off the beaten path on Phillips Island. He listened to what we wanted to do and suggested places we enjoyed. Mark is knowledgeable, friendly, and very customer service oriented. We learned a great deal about Melbourne and pertinent information relating to the tour we took. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip with Mark as our guide and would highly recommend him.

We enjoyed Mark’s Morning tour of Melbourne at one of cruise stops. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating and engaging. Four of us had a great time and were able to adapt the tour to our interests. Highly recommend!
