We did a tour of Melbourne with Fred, who is excellent in his knowledge of the city and history. You go into the tour knowing next to nothing you come away with a complete overview of the city, its culture and history. Really worth doing.

We recently took this private tour on a blustery winters day. Thankfully we dodged the rain. Partly down to luck and partly down to James (our guide) and his timing as he switched things around and used satellite on his phone to check the incoming weather storm patterns - very smart! The extra hour was certainly worth it as it is quite a long way down to the start of the road, and an even longer way back to Melbourne. 2 big days of sightseeing. Saw some amazing sights along the way. James our guide was very courteous and informative and really knew the area well. I would recommend doing the 2 day option, as there is just so much to see.

This was an amazing day out. Travelled with my 13 year old son who does not love car trips. However the car was comfortable, there were snacks provided and great conversation with James, plus lots of stops along the way to the Great Ocean Road made him and I really enjoy the day.

We were all set to pull the trigger on a 1 day tour, and whilst I’m sure it would have been great, our local contact in Melbourne strongly suggested we make it a 2 day trip. Really glad we had the extra day. Apparently the 1 day tour gets you to all the sights that you would want to see, but our tour just felt so relaxed. A real holiday! I would not have liked to have been at the stops knowing the guide would probably be looking down at his watch. On the odd occasion, I could see this happening with the various mini buses that we passed on the road. They would arrive after us, and leave after us, rushing around as they went. I guess there’s a compromise. If You take an extra day on the great ocean road, then ultimately you will have to sacrifice a day somewhere else. But to be honest, I doubt you will find an area with such diverse quality and varied sightseeing. Even over two days, never once did we feel bored or regretful. It was just one jaw dropping sight after another, after another, after another…... And the stay in Apollo Bay was just magical. What a pretty little town. We even had a koala up the tree in the B&B we were staying in. Special.

An incredible tour from start to finish. Having done a tour a few days prior with a 8am start, we knew what sitting in peak hour traffic was like, so we were happy to get up early and get on the road at 6am. This also grave us the luxury of great morning lighting for our 1st stop, where we spotted some kangaroos by the road. We opted for the longer tour (14 hour) which we were glad off, as it took the pressure of rushing back to the car at each stop. Plus by wife can be a little slow at times and likes to dilly-dally, so I wasn’t too concerned, given the extra few hours we had up our sleeve. The highlight was the 12 apostles but I was most taken back at loch Ard gorge, to hear the story of the shipwreck and then to walk in their footsteps down on the beach where the 2 survivors were washed ashore. I don’t want to give too much away, but it is a beautiful story from an awful tragedy that occurred along the coast.

I had a family trip with 5 family members. My driver Dave. V was awesome with cheeky jokes. It was great to hear about his stories. Over all the trip was very comfortable and entertaining too. Thanks Fariha

I loved it this is the place to add on your list when in Melbourne. I enjoyed it and learnt a lot about Melbourne. You wont regret this if you love adventure

Amazing ,Breathtaking ,Scenic views.Drove around half the Great Ocean Road and stayed overnight at the ocean view cottage.It was wonderful life time experience.

We had a super Day. The Tour was well organized, and we got to see a lot in that time. The Pickup and drop off was as described. Also, the Breakfast Pack and the Lunch where good. Would recommend the Tour. The Information during the Tour was plenty, but not to much. We did have some quite Time to enjoy the Landscape also.

Tour is limited to 8 people which makes it a very intimate tour and Stuart is an excellent tour guide and host. Nothing was too much trouble He was very knowledgeable about the GOR and Melbourne. We had a wonderful day and the early start is really worth it to avoid the crowds.

This is amazing. Tour was perfectly organized, from A to Z. Everything was perfect, starting from pick up, through small bus, drinks and stops. Stuart, the guide, was the best part of the trip, together with the views. Always happy to help, providing lots of information. Snack box, unlimited water and delicious lunch is what is included. Highly recommended!

Great tour! A must see tour for first time tourists when in Melbourne. Be sure to bring your camera. Our guide-driver Mark wasvery nice and friendly and very knowledgable, I they need to go thru and pass a tour guide course prior to being one. Lots of good sights and view on the great ocena ride road!

The terrain is breath taking and the driver really tried to be accommodating. The driver also provided Australian treats for his guests. He also handled his bus very well.

I booked this tour for my parents, they raved about how brilliant Stuart was, his hospitality, professionalism and knowledge of the area was fantastic. They couldn't recommend his highly enough.
