- rosemariesenr0 contributionsAwe Inspiring, Breath Taking SceneryThe Great Ocean Drive is so spectacular! It takes one breath away. The sea, sky, lush greenery (where one could spot a koala, kangaroo, Laughing kookaburras), and awe inspiring rock formations.Written 7 February 2025
- 723jeanettev0 contributionsIncredible vies and wildlifeGreat views and knowledgeable driver. Also saw kangaroos, wallabies and koalas in the wild. Well worth the trip from Melbourne.Written 28 January 2025

- B6996EOjennac0 contributionsWonderful experience & even better guide! Matt was knowledgeable and all around fantastic! We cannot say enough great words about our guide, Matt (Matthew) who was originally from England, but has been in Australia for some time now. He was absolutely fabulous with our 8 yr old son. We was knowledgeable and an all around wonderful guide! He even provided us with morning tea and snacks to break up the drive. We especially enjoyed getting out and doing little walks at the lookouts and it was fun to explore the lower lands when possible. Unfortunately we couldn't go down to Ship Wreck beach (as it's closed off due to rocks falling. The only thing missing would have been to get to see the 12 Apostles from the beach, but were informed that time wasn't built into our trip. I would highly recommend taking one of the other smaller stops away to add that in, if the tour operator could make that happen?Written 9 January 2025

- pop_ma0 contributionsWorst Tour!Worst tour company EVER! My sister and her family visiting from USA went on Great Ocean Road tour on Dec 30 with Wildlife Tours Australia. I purchased this trip tickets based on great reviews on Google and Tripadvisor. The microbus was small and the AC was broken. The driver apologized and said that the AC was fixed 2 days back. Also a red light appeared on the dashboard while driving which is not a good sign. The company should've checked the vehicle before using it for tourists and ensure that it is fit for purpose! The windows in the back of the microbus couldn't be opened on a 26 degrees day, so my sister came back home with a massive headache and a bitter taste in her mouth.Written 30 December 2024
- tmridula0 contributionsLong trip for an average experienceWe were underwhelmed; we must have seen about 100 little penguins in the one hour. The koala sanctuary was OK. Our driver Adrian was perhaps the highlight. It was 4 hours of travel for an average experience. We could have done more exciting stuff in Melbourne perhaps.Written 29 December 2024
- 80juliettew0 contributionsHighly recommended tour with lots of penguinsI had the best time on this tour, Fiona was an amazing tour guide and had so much good energy, great information and tips about how to see the most penguins - i couldn’t recommend this more !Written 27 December 2024
- dordor-Sin0 contributionsBad tour experience this time... short changed due to itinerary changed. This is the worse experience I had with Aust tours despite I joined a same one during winter in 2024. Meeting time was 640am and yet guide didn't turn up. 2nd coach guide took over but we only left at 715am! It was quite a mess, and we only had our driver, and the guide for our bus was said to be on MC. I think it's he/she probably partying on Xmas day so didn't make it for our tour on Boxing Day. Due to heat wave on 26Dec so guide said he will reverse the itinerary to avoid crowds and heat which was a good plan. He also remotely talking to us via mobile connected with mic but still, it's not good. The whole itinerary seems messed up except 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gouge, and we ended up sitting in the bus for long hours and bad bumpy rides especially at Toquay area. Some travellers felt sick and vomited too due to the bumpy and turnings. Felt very short changed for this tour, and lunch only happened at 3pm too.Written 26 December 2024
- glendaw4390 contributions11 hours of great experiences.Fantastic day, our driver/guide Chris was amazing. He kept us entertained with his knowledge and experiences of this great excursion.Written 24 December 2024
- 274signeb0 contributionsAmazing trip!!Absolutely adorable, fantastic and stunning tour. We've been so so lucky with timing and guide. Misty is your tour guide and bus driver, but will become a friend and companion along the way. The enthusiasm, history, sights and knowledge she brings really leveled up the whole trip! One of my own highlights was visiting the Bunjil cave, and it really was an introspective and important thing to witness. Thank you so much for our lovely trip, wish we could stay in Australia and do many, many more!Written 21 December 2024

This tour may well be the best run and most enjoyable excursion we have ever been a part of.
Our tour to the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians National Park began on Feb 15th. On Feb 14th, very sadly, the Grampians region was hit by a wind storm and powerful thunderstorms which tore up trees and ignited forest fires with many homes lost as the region dealt with one of it's biggest emergencies in years. In the hours leading up to the beginning of the tour we received an email advising us that the situation regarding our itinerary was very fluid and that visiting the Grampians would likely not be possible.
Our incredible guide, Janet "J-Dog" Archibald, in consultation with Wildlife Tours took this bag of lemons that fate had handed us and made the best lemonade ever. She recast this setback as an opportunity to explore some locations that we would not normally have time to see. Janet knows the state of Victoria like the back of her hand and we were all swept up by her enthusiasm as she told story after story and got us to amazing locations with time to explore at length. By the end of the first day our group had become the best of friends and this tour was the highlight of our time in Australia.
I highly recommend this tour and our guide Janet. On day three we were joined by Chris who also knows his stuff and made our trip memorable.

Just got back from the 3 day tour of the Great ocean road and the grampians. I would definitely not recommend doing any less than this as the 2 day tour missed out on a great hike in the grampians. Our tour guide Peter was great with loads of knowledge and a very chilled vibe so that it didn’t feel like we were on a school trip. Some bits of the tour are a bit rushed but that’s to be expected on such a quick turn around. I would definitely recommend this tour !!

Nearing the end of our 3 day Great Ocean Road Trip and it has been the best 2 days! The itinerary is well organised and very carefully planned. The stops along the way are magnificent. There really is no better way to see all the sights along the Great Ocean Road and to experience The Grampians other than take this tour. It's a great way to meet people too!
Our tour guide Darren has been the best bit about this trip. He takes such great care in his work and really wants everyone to have such a great time. His voice is very calming on the microphone, perfect if you're in the middle of taking a nap on the bus. Most of all, I love all his nuggets of information. He is very informative and obviously has extensive knowledge on the geography of the area, plant life, animal life, indigenous people and local knowledge too. He makes the tour very engaging! I also appreciate the effort he puts in to organise breakfast/lunch/ dinner. A++ for Darren!!

All the places along the Great Ocean Road including the 12 Apostles and the Grampians itself, the views were breathtaking, and it was a good break away from the busy city life. I would recommend going for the 3 days 2 night as it makes your overall trip worthwhile, Special shout out to my guide - Guy, very knowledgeable about the history and had lots of fascinating stories to share that made the journey on the road more enjoyable. Great opportunity to meet new people along the way as well.
