      What an amazing experience!!
Misty, you are a legend! I had such a good time during this wonderful trip. They say your guide makes the tour, and I think that's true. She showed as soooo many awesome places and was just in general a cool and chill person. The first day was only Great Ocean Road. We were so lucky with the weather during the whole trip. We had some breathtaking views and the whole group got along very well. We had dinner together that night and stayed in a really cozy motel. The second day was a short drive to the Grampians were we all managed to hike up a mountain together and enjoyed the views on top as a group. That night we had bbq together and watched the sunset with the kangaroos. I will never forget this trip and Misty made it so special. Thanks for all the laughs and shenanigans. Do not hesitate and book this tour!! PS: look at all those chiiickens! (Laura)

      Extraordinary day!
We enjoyed everything about our day as was provided by the tour company and our driver, Ilkay! As others have mentioned, the only thing that detracted from the special, extraordinary experience, was other people not following rules, standing in front of others, pushing for seating, and taking photos of the penguins when repeatedly scolded. Sad that we are there to help the endangered wildlife and some people are more concerned with their instagram. Otherwise- certainly worth the extra $$ for the penguin Plus seats; others in our tour said they couldn’t see nearly as much in general seating. Highly recommend this tour from Melbourne!

I really enjoyed the tour, we saw many things and our Tour guide (Misty) was great! She made it just a wholesome trip for everyone and had also some interesting knowledge. The accommodations were good and I really enjoyed the barbecue on the last day. Would definitely recommend, was one of my best tours so far.

      Will remember this forever
The experience was 100%. I’ve fallen in love quicker than I expected with Australia. Had such a warm hug of a tour guide, Misty is magic, a warm hug personified, carrying the most amazing informative stories, and illusions and we never missed a bird or kanga or emu as she made sure we all saw them. Having come solo, I couldn’t have felt more like I had family with me. Very grateful and lucky for the experience. Thank you forever x

      Road trip to remember
Great 3 day road trip with the fabulously entertaining & knowledgeable Janet AKA J-Dog as expert driver & guide. Her expertise meant we usually arrived at landmarks at a different time to the masses of tourist buses and often had the views & spaces to ourselves wherever we stopped off. Loved the latter and less touristy part of the Great Ocean Road & koala spotting along the way. Sadly a wildfire meant missing out on the Grampians but we were well informed by Autopia in advance and had a great detour which included the stunning Blue Lake in Mount Gambia & swimming in blue water in a nearby sinkhole. There were 16 of us on the bus which was l perfect number for travelling camaraderie.

Great tour experience with the best tour guide, Aidan! Even for someone prone to motion sickness, sitting in the back row of the bus was not a problem on this trip!

Trip went on timely manner and the weather was ok. Simply cold, in the evening, when the penguins come, and some people did not bring enough warm clothes.
On the way, we also saw koala, and some seagulls. That was cool.
For the minuses, there was not enough tome to visit koala park and study the exhibition The driver made us run to the bus. On next stop, he made us scared that bus would leave without the latecomers. I switched on the roaming in my phone for couple hours then, just in case, which costed me some extra 60 $.
And, it was forbidden to take photos of the penguins. There were cute, but if you need photo, it is enough to visit their website. For free.

Hi Agnieszka, Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it. Sorry to hear the Phillip Island tour didn't meet your expectations. Unfortunately as this is a very long day trip, we can only have a limited time at each stop, otherwise we would only be back in Melbourne after 1am, which would not please most passengers (furthermore, we do have to take into account the driver's fatigue management issues). I do understand it may seem too short a visit at the Koala Conservation Centre as they are adorable creatures, however we must stick to the schedule. Regarding photos at the Penguin Parade, this is beyond our control as it is a decision by the Phillip Island National Park authority, and it aims to ensure that the penguins are not disturbed by any lights as they are photosensitive. Thanks to these measures they keep coming back day after day :) We hope to see you again on one of our tours, and do not hesitate to give us a call if you would like to further discuss your experience. Kind regards, Luis

Myself and my partner did a brilliant tour to Philip Island. We really enjoyed the tour and were blown away by the natural beauty of Philip Island. We really enjoyed the stops at the koala reserve and seeing the beautiful tiny joeys! The penguin parade was a magical experience, we saw hundreds of fairy penguins, some close enough to touch! Our guide, Craig, was friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour as a great day out from Melbourne for all ages.

Took the 8.5 hr. Phillip Island Koala Conservation center and Penguin Parade tour that starts at 1.45 pm in the afternoon from Melbourne CBD.
Excellent guide (Dandy) to begin with. Quite knowledgeable and provided good information all the while during the tour. He paced/timed the whole tour very well.

The visit to the Koala conservation center, the Pyramid rock, the Nobbies and the Penguin Parade - every bit of it was worth it. Importantly, got just about the right time to spend at each of these places, although you always wish you had more time!

Weather was excellent and conducive...quite chilly and windy at the Penguin Parade actually, so worth carrying enough warm clothing to keep you comfortable while sitting at the beach to watch the parade.

The Pyramid rock and Nobbies are simply awesome in terms of landscape.
Highlight of the visit was of course the cute, small penguins emerging from the ocean and making their way in groups up the hill to feed their younger ones....and also walking in tandem with them on the way back up the board walk.

Make sure you carry some food and water or have your dinner in time at the Penguin Parade information center (where options are limited).

All in all, a day truly well spent in the midst of mother nature and its beauty and splendor.

FYI, there's another longer tour which takes you to the town of Cowes for dinner break before heading towards the parade. I liked this one more though.

Our tour guide was great and made the whole experience very enjoyable! Going on a Friday during high traffic wasn’t ideal but that was the only negative. It was neat to see koalas, my fiancé burst into tears of excitement, and the penguin parade was a truly unique and fun experience!

Awesome day trip with Dandy. Central Melbourne pick up. Dandy was knowledgeable, friendly with a great taste in music. Kept the bus trip interesting with local indigenous and settlement history. Loved the Buckley's story. Koala stop was really good. disappointed we didn't see any copperheads...that is probably a good thing. We ate at the penguin restaurant before the viewing. Long lines but happy efficient workers, good food and prices made it a positive experience. Rangers at the penguin beach were very friendly and knowledgeable. Of course the little penguins were the highlight. Loved it. Worthwhile trip at reasonable price for the day. Do it you will love it.

Wonderful tour -guide Fiona was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She made a point of connecting with each guest. Koala sanctuary was the best. Penguins were fun to watch but it was very cold - wish I had brought warmer clothes.

We went out from our hotel one hour earlier, but unhappily the Google Maps did not help too much finding the address to meet the van. We were ten minutes late and the guide was in a horrible mood. Our ask for excuses were ignored, and in the whole trip he used an impossible English to understand. I asked some German tourists if they were understanding something, and they said barely nothing....Because of that, I guess we lost a lot of information. The food served was terribly bad and also nobody told us we had to wear clothes for 5 C with rain to see the penguins. Be aware....

Excellent Tours, Phillips Island Penguin Parade, and koala sightings were amazing! The only downside was ignorant tourists flashing their photos at the penguins after being repeatedly told no photos because it scares and blinds the small birds at night.
