- 954meghanw00Loved the animal encounters on this tour!Had a great visit to the Moonlit Sanctuary and Phillip Island, Ross the guide was fantastic and it didn’t feel like a long drive at all. I recommend heading down to the viewing area for the penguins early as the seats fill up fast. Terrific tour, would definitely recommend!
- lizcha00Penguins are great, but bus is uncomfortable.First the best part: the penguins were amazing, and made the entire trip worthwhile. The bottom line, though, is that we wish we'd driven down there on our own. The minibus was very uncomfortable, especially for my tall husband. We were in the back two seats, right over the rear wheels, and the roads are bumpy. Also, that row doesn't get any flow from the air conditioners, which are overhead and blowing forwards. So when the rest of the group was too cold, we were still too warm. Half the group was a family with three children who were (understandably) very bored by the long drive, especially because they'd already done another tour that morning. Our driver, Ross, did a commendable job in difficult circumstances of trying to look after them and minimize the impact on the rest of the group. I was very impressed by him throughout the tour.
- 141nardac00AmazingAmazing experience!! my little girls (ages 8 and 10 years old) loved i. Highly recommend for families or just friends trip. 👍🏼
- lindatY8726FI00Brilliant tripGreat trip thoroughly enjoyed. Travis the guide was fantastic and really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the animals.
- chrissR9307WG00Great tour along the coast roadWe took the tour from Melbourne to the 12 Apostles and had a thourghly good day out. We saw great scenary, wild koalas and kangaroos along the way. Our driver/guide (Jeff) was great fun and very insightful from start to finish. It is a full, long day. Highlight for me was the walk in the temperate rain forest with toweing Mountain Ash snd Tree Ferns.
- mariajoseaT9519RO00Koalas!!!!!It’s was amazing!!! Thank you Elíseo! He is the best guide in Melbourne!!! He is so friendly and very professional!!!No worries. You must choose Elíseo!!!!! Wooihhhhhh
- sjc2017201800Wonderful tripA fabulous day trip with koala and kangaroo sightings as well as the awe inspiring 12 apostles. Dandy was a brilliant and entertaining guide.
- 397izzyl00Amazing penguin adventure! We had the best time on this tour. We enjoyed the wildlife sanctuary on the way, but the main event was Philip island. We enjoyed stopping at some of the beaches and admiring the scenery whilst spotting wildlife including plenty of wallabies. We loved the penguin sanctuary and watching them all parade in was truly a magical experience. Once in a lifetime! Shoutout to Ben who was a fantastic tour guide, full of interesting facts and great company. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone - a highlight of our trip for sure!
- clairedF1929UG00Great way to see the cityThanks so much for an entertaining and informative trip. Sam was a great guide who did a wonderful job speaking Italian and English. It made the trip even more interesting. This was a great way to see the city. I'm so pleased I did it as a solo traveller.
- Go4835472636500Melbourne City ViewCompleted the half day tour of Melbourne City with Fred Garcarczyk as our tour guide. We would both thoroughly recommend this tour. It gave a great overview of this beautiful city and is ideal to get oriented when you first arrive. Fred really made this tour - his knowledge, humour and anecdotes are second to none! Fred was also kind enough to give us some great steers on where to go and what to see. Thank you Fred 👍😁👏
- Connie F00Our short time in Melbourne was spent withe a great guide! Our city tour was very informative and pleasant with our guide Fred! He is a great storyteller and is very enthusiastic about his work. He follows up with places to visit and restaurants we might me interested in.
- daisyw56100Great tourTodays trip with Dandy was amazing. I’ve done the great ocean road before but this tour was great, seeing koalas was the highlight and dandy was a pro spotter. 10/10 recommend!
- Debra W0010 hours for a one hour penguin “ parade”Long van trip in uncomfortable seats. Stop at a small wildlife preserve at 4 pm when all the talks and encounters closed. Two other stops to view coastline and a stop for a mediocre dinner ( self paid) before finally arriving to see penguins which was spectacular. Our guide gave very little commentary.
- P6092NZjeans00Great Ocean RoadThe tour with Dandy today was absolutely wonderful! The wildlife was definitely out today. Dandy’s ability to spot the wildlife, especially the Koala’s was amazing!
- staceybV9386UK00Journey along the Great Ocean RoadGary hosted us on our trip and it was a great time. Lots of laughs, beautiful scenery and interesting historical facts. The birds were very friendly as you will see in the pictures. It was a very long day but well worth the trip!!

Fred, our tour guide was the best aspect of the tour. Meeting him on this trip made our day. It was like having a friend overseas who you could rely on for seeing places locally. His knowledge and passion for the city, for the job, for the places we visited made the tour ten times more amazing. It was endearing to see the marsupials in the sanctuary. For someone of South Asian origin, India, undoubtedly, the highlight of the tour was seeing the kangaroos and koalas, the penguins, the exotic bird species unique to Australia, and of course, the stories that Fred engaged us with made the entire tour a lot less tiring and fun.
We couldn't have asked for a better tour or a tour guide. We'll return a million times and never hesitate to book the tour. You are amazing, Fred! Thank you for the innumerable memories that you helped us make!

We had a remarkable time with Fred as our tour guide! My teens, ages 18,16 and15, who are typically unimpressed and hard to please actually paid attention. Our fave was watching the penguins on Phillips Island. For a once in a lifetime trip, you want to be with a guide who is knowledgeable, charming, and can engage everyone in the group. Highly recommended 😊

Thank you so much for your fabulous review Angela. We believe that when there are younger people on the tour, regardless of age, that it will be a much better experience for the adults if the children feel involved and entertained and Fred certainly puts a lot of effort into it. We hope that we get to give you a similar experience, should you visit us in the future.

Great! Sam was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. This is really two tours with a lunch on your own break in the middle, which was fine with us. It did make for a long day, but the views at the end of the day from Philip Island were the best part and well worth the drive.

We loved seeing Melbourne in the morning city tour. Gary was absolutely the BEST guide and so knowledgeable. We learned and saw so much about Melbourne. The afternoon tour was to Penguin Parade, Moonlit Sanctuary, and the Nobbies. Alex was knowledgeable, comical, helpful and a magnificent tour guide. These two tours are a MUST for visitors, and if your visiting friends need to see the city firsthand.
After this day we fell in love with Melbourne.

Fred was amazing. He really makes the tour fun. I liked that we got out of the van from time to time and Fred’s stories are so engaging. It was my first time traveling solo but Fred makes sure everyone feels included.

Had the best experience! Our tour guide, Sam, was brilliant as he was friendly, helpful, and informative. The best part of this tour was to see the wildlife up close and personal at Moonlit Sanctuary; and seeing the penguins emerge from the beach and getting to walk beside them. This tour is highly recommended.

The best part of my experience was our phillip island tour, where the tour guide went out of the way to show us the pyramid island and gave us a fantastic insight of the wildlife habitat. He also helped us by dropping us at a hotel which was nott in the CBD drop list, considering one of our colleagues had a sore knee.
