    Wonderful Tour
Ben was the best! He was super friendly, took the time to remember everyone’s names, and even drove us all back to our hotels at the end of the night. My partner and I couldn’t have asked for a better tour experience.

Loved the animal encounters on this tour!
Had a great visit to the Moonlit Sanctuary and Phillip Island, Ross the guide was fantastic and it didn’t feel like a long drive at all. I recommend heading down to the viewing area for the penguins early as the seats fill up fast. Terrific tour, would definitely recommend!

Penguins are great, but bus is uncomfortable.
First the best part: the penguins were amazing, and made the entire trip worthwhile. The bottom line, though, is that we wish we'd driven down there on our own. The minibus was very uncomfortable, especially for my tall husband. We were in the back two seats, right over the rear wheels, and the roads are bumpy. Also, that row doesn't get any flow from the air conditioners, which are overhead and blowing forwards. So when the rest of the group was too cold, we were still too warm. Half the group was a family with three children who were (understandably) very bored by the long drive, especially because they'd already done another tour that morning. Our driver, Ross, did a commendable job in difficult circumstances of trying to look after them and minimize the impact on the rest of the group. I was very impressed by him throughout the tour.

    Amazing penguin adventure!
We had the best time on this tour. We enjoyed the wildlife sanctuary on the way, but the main event was Philip island. We enjoyed stopping at some of the beaches and admiring the scenery whilst spotting wildlife including plenty of wallabies. We loved the penguin sanctuary and watching them all parade in was truly a magical experience. Once in a lifetime! Shoutout to Ben who was a fantastic tour guide, full of interesting facts and great company. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone - a highlight of our trip for sure!

Thanks so much for an entertaining and informative trip. Sam was a great guide who did a wonderful job speaking Italian and English. It made the trip even more interesting. This was a great way to see the city. I'm so pleased I did it as a solo traveller.

    Melbourne City View
Completed the half day tour of Melbourne City with Fred Garcarczyk as our tour guide. We would both thoroughly recommend this tour. It gave a great overview of this beautiful city and is ideal to get oriented when you first arrive. Fred really made this tour - his knowledge, humour and anecdotes are second to none! Fred was also kind enough to give us some great steers on where to go and what to see. Thank you Fred 👍😁👏

10 hours for a one hour penguin “ parade”
Long van trip in uncomfortable seats. Stop at a small wildlife preserve at 4 pm when all the talks and encounters closed. Two other stops to view coastline and a stop for a mediocre dinner ( self paid) before finally arriving to see penguins which was spectacular. Our guide gave very little commentary.

Took the Great Ocean Road Full Day Tour wit Oceania Tours & Safaris on November 5, 2023. What a wonderful experience. Our tour guide, Dandy, was fantastic. He told stories about Melbourne and explained every step of the trip. Didn't rush us when he made stops and was very friendly. His driving was superb and cautious. Enjoyed every minute of it

Great Ocean Rd & Philip Island Penguin Parade
Kevin was our tour guide for the Great Ocean Road and he was knowledgeable and provided running commentary including history , wildlife & random information that made the tour fun and interesting. From the chocolate factory to ablesea ward, Boobah Beach, Lorne , Queenscliff Coastal Reserve, tge St. George River Estiary, Kennett River where we saw Koala, cockatoos & rosellas. We stopped at George’s for fish n chips in Apollo Bay and went on to cape Otway & Maits Rest (a n old & interesting forest preserve made us feel like we were in Jurassic Park. We went on to Princetown Reserve to see Kangaroos, then to port Campbell national park for the 12 Apostles, island archway, Razorback & Loch Ard Lookout. We topped it off at an alpaca farm. Fantastic. Travis was our guide for Philip Island and the Penguin Parade Plus - we visited the Moonlit Sanctuary on the way and saw kangaroos, wallaby’s, kookaburras, Tasmanian devil, koalas & more - he was engaging, entertaining and knowledgeable as well it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend both tours. Our guides were great and whether you get Kevin or Travis - you will love the tours!!!

Truly great full day trip with our tour guide Toby. While it’s a drive to get to Great Ocean Road and the main attraction of the Twelve Apostles, the itinerary was well designed with worthwhile sights and stops along the way. The Great Ocean Road is a spectacular drive, with stunning views. The tour had variety and was well paced. I like how this tour only accommodates up to 11 people (we were six in total on our trip, which was really nice). Toby was an engaging guide and great driver.

We had the pleasure of touring the Great Ocean Road with Fred. Although the weather wasn’t the best, Fred made our day very enjoyable with his interesting stories and experiences. Fred knows the route and all the best viewing spots. He was able to find kangaroos in the bush as well as koalas in the trees. We look forward to our trip to Phillips Island today with Fred. We’re sure it will be equally enjoyable.

Thank you so much for your extremely positive review of our Great Ocean Road tour Leighann. Fred certainly does have a lot of interesting stories that many of his reviews refer to and he loves to keep his guests entertained from start to finish. I'm sure he is looking forward to hosting you again tomorrow.

Our tour guide Rainer gave us a wonderful tour of the Ocean Road telling us it's great history. Rainer was very helpful to answer all our questions about things we saw along the way and added a lot of commentary on the wildlife and landmarks we saw. Would highly recommend this trip to others eager to experience the great Ocean Road and learn about all about it.

This was one of the best tours I’ve had down under. Our tour guide Dandy entertained us between stops with personal stories and music from local musicians. He really went above and beyond to show us the best places and his excitement and love for Australia was contagious! Dandy helped make some really special memories for me and my family. The only bad thing is now none of the other tours we take will be as good!

Today we did a full day Ocean Road trip! The scenery was mangificent, but what made the day was our guide, Fred! He was so entertaining, knowledgeable, accommodating, went above and beyond, took us off the beaten path, saw kangaroos in the wild, where no other tour buses were! A true highlight of our trip. I highly recommend this company and ask for Fred to be your guide, you will not be disappointed!

We took the tour from Melbourne to the 12 Apostles and had a thourghly good day out. We saw great scenary, wild koalas and kangaroos along the way. Our driver/guide (Jeff) was great fun and very insightful from start to finish. It is a full, long day. Highlight for me was the walk in the temperate rain forest with toweing Mountain Ash snd Tree Ferns.

I just finished this tour which was amazing! Tour Guide Sam’s commentary was informative and often witty. Guide-in-training Stephanie offered useful information and was happy to answer questions. I highly recommend this tour, as long as it is (approx 12hrs) as you’ll see some unforgettable sights such as The Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, as well as the chance to see many native animals and birds along the way.

The best part of this trip was saving a koala from the middle of the road, the Apostles, and our guide Fred. He was not only knowledgeable of every aspect, his light-hearted humor kept this group interested non-stop! Of course, the scenery and animals can't be beat but I would definitely recommend doing it with Fred. It was truly a magical day!!

I had booked a full day great ocean road trip on the 03rd of July with Oceania tours at Melbourne and am really happy that I did that . Not only was the experience quite personalised but Fred and Mel from Oceania who accompanied me and another tourists that day were the best tour guides we could have had.

Not only did Fred who was a veteran at this tour give us the correct guidance on the tour but also filled us on a lot of trivia about different locations in Melbourne and every other town located on the Great Ocean Road. You could request Fred to just about stop anywhere there was a photo opportunity and he would readily do so with his ever smiling face. Mel was a great addition too with her trivia about a lot of stuff related to the trip.

All in all…a great day well spent with great hosts. Thank you again Fred and Mel and Thank you Oceania for a great team and well designed tour.

Fred made the day enjoyable with his endless supply of anecdotes and willingness to answer all our questions. I particularly enjoyed the walk in the bush where we saw kangaroos in the wild as well as the wonderful coastal scenery. Fred obviously knows a lot about the areas we visited and was keen to share his enthusiasm with the group.
It is a long day but there are several stops along the way and Fred stressed that this was our trip so if we wanted to stop and look at something he’d try to accommodate it.

Thanks again for yet another positive review of one of our tours. It IS a long day but guests are constantly amazed at how quickly the hours fly by. We are particularly pleased that you enjoyed the encounter with the kangaroos at the Ecology centre as this is something exclusive to Oceania Tours and Safaris.
